Tools and Materials
Satin charmeuse (1 1/2 yards)
Nylon chiffon (about 3 yards -- see measurements below)

I know all the cutting measurements can be confusing! Buy a liitle extra, just in case.:)

Elisa, what size did you get? I couldn't decide and got a medium. I hope it doesn't fall right off of her.

Hey, shameless plug: I updated my trip report!

YESSS! It's REALLY good to! It's for US!!!!

wow, that was very helpful and interesting! What type of software would you need to get the 250 to digitize? Is autopunch just a digitizing program? I feel like I need to go back to school and get a degree in machine embroidery--it seems so complicated! Viking 4D sounds cool.

Autopunch comes automatically with the 250 and allows you to digitize. It just doesn't have all the features some of the more expensive software.

I stand corrected. It is all week.
Heres a question do they limit how many they have on hand??
Mind you the one I went to was small.
But they only had 1 of every 1 I wanted. And I was just curious??
But I was happy they had all 13 I wanted.

Melanie
I went last Thursday-the first day of the Butterick for $1.50 sale and they didn't have a few I was looking for but then I went Saturday (the last day) and they had the ones I wanted (not the ones they didn't have Thu but other ones I wanted).:confused3

It does say limit 10.

There are tons of digitizing programs, however, most won't digitize well. A lot of the programs leave out parts of the clip art. That's why I bought 4D. The guy showded me some samples and they are great. However, there's a learning curve, so I'm going for a class or 2.

I got a medium for Jenna. I bought her a shirt last week from them that was a medium and it fit her perfectly. She is a small size 6 if that helps any.
Just have to say--it was 80 degrees yesterday and today it is snowing. :sad2: :sad1:
That has to be awful. That's kind of the way it is here right now (not snowing though). Two days ago it was warm and the last two days it has been cold.

That is so cute.

I need opinions please.... I have the pink petti ordered from Disney. Today I bought some Cheetah Girl material. I was thinking of making Jenna a Cheetah Girl top to wear with the petti and she has a pair of leggings that are the pink Cheetah print and it matches the material that I bought today. The question is do ya'll think that this combination would look good??? All opinions are welcome.

That is so cute. I wish I was brave enough to tackle one. I have the stuff for it, but I keep putting it off.

On the order of one of Aqua's outfits in the original Cheetah Girls movie? (I think I had to watch it at least six times--and Cheetah Girls 2 another six times--while visiting friends in 2006. I just about memorized both of them!)

You might want to wait until the pink petti arrives to be sure the pinks are compatible. I probably would favour solid leggings, but the patterned ones certainly could work!

Keep in mind that I'm the daughter who disappointed her mother by disliking ruffles at an early age. What do I know? :confused3
