I lost 1.5 pounds this week, for a total of 8 lbs!!!
On a side note I just found out I am REALLY not going to be around much anymore. I am getting a 10 day old baby most likely on Friday she is under 4 lbs so a lot of my time. I am so excited though. There is a chance she will stay with us forever. Please say prayers. I get to go find preemie clothes tomorrow!
How exciting!! I'll be praying that this little sweetie gets to stay with you forever!!
Thanks for giving me my daily Saylor fix!! The outfit is adorable, too!
I love those kitty jumpers and jeans! How CUUUTE! The St Patricks day jumper is cute! Jayden (I know that's not spelled right) and Nora look beautiful, as usual! The Tink outfit is really cute and I love the diva picture! It seems I usually have a few of those whenever I try to get pictures of Sawyer. He does NOT want to be a male model! Love the comfy kitty bed!
Everything I've seen is so cute! You all have mad applique'ing skills!
I'm new and stumbled across the disboutiquers threads and I'm so excited to find you here. I love to sew and make about 75% of my kids' clothing. Of course I've been planning in my head what to make for them when we hit WDW in April. So far I've only made some capris and a peasant top with a mouse head applique. I've got some vintage(?) mickey knit that I think I'll make DS a curved raglan tee with and then he'll get the standard camp shirt from mouse head fabric. I'll probably made DD a matching shirt from that too. Maybe I'll get some new ideas from you all too!
Enough babbling, off to go admire more stuff.

!!! We love it when we get new people and new ideas on here! We can't wait to see some pictures of your stuff! Keep posting until you have enough posts to post pictures (I can't remember how many posts you need at the moment)!
I love the Disney cuties fabric! The scenery pictures are absolutely gorgeous!!
How's your birthday sweatshirt coming? Did you post pictures of it yet?
I think it's adorable!
Second, I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and learn how to shirr, give it to me straight, how tough is it?
It's SUPER easy!!! If you can sew a straight line (or fairly straight line in my case), you can shirr!
Hmmmm...I am acne prone myself and I have not had any trouble. The whole Bare Min selling point is that it is 100% pure, natural minerals. something like "so pure you can sleep in it". If you go to an Ulta or Sephora, they will do a "Makeover" on you to try colors. Wear it for the afternoon and see how your skin does before you commit
Thank you for the input! I am so tempted to buy some!
Teresa, do we have a Sephora or Ulta around here?
She is such a cutie! I love the Hawaiin feel of this outfit! Too funny that she like
National Geographic!
I bf my two kiddos with all the comments and looks from my family and friends- are you STILL nursing that baby- when they were barely a year old- we continued until about 17 mo. with the first and 16 mo. with the second. No cloth diapers- dh had bad experiences with his younger siblings and wouldn't even let us try it. But we loved the baby carrier- they didn't like the sling. So can I be too?!?!?
It must have been hard to have your family and friends looking dissaprovingly on you for breastfeeding! I applaud you for keeping it up! My family was VERY supportive of it, so it made it easy for me.
Love the Prince Charming....I have never seen anything like this before. I would love to have had that for my son! He is 12 now, so not sure this is his 'style' now, lol....but it certainly would have been his favorite when he was younger!
btw, my sister uses the Bare Minerals....and loves it.....she does have acne prone skin and also complains large pores...it looks great on her!
Thank you! I told my 15 year old nephew I would make him a prince charming outfit, too. But, he turned me down!
Thanks for the infor on Bare Minerals!
What a cute idea!
I just love that petal skirt pattern! I also love that Buzz Lightyear fabric. This turned out really cute!
Poor Tessa! When do we get to see it?
Naw, not poor Tessa. She was just being a bit of a brat! I haven't taken a picture of her in the dress yet. But, I will, promise!
Just checking in quickly to say I LOVE it all! I have been trying to get more done and stay away from the computer lately! I miss you guys though!
We miss you too!

Have you seen my recent Sawyer sewing spree??
And as per our weight loss agreement, I am happy to report that
I lost 2lbs this week!

I am very excited! So how is everyone else doing with their weight loss??????
Aww..she looks so cute in that shirt!! Those flip flops are so adorable, too!!
Great job on the weight loss!!!
Okay, another newbie here. I have been lurking for a while seeing all the beautiful things everyone makes. I am mom to 3 grown DD's and have 5 DGD, with number 6 on the way! I have sewn since I was in elementary school. We live near disneyland, so we go there quite often!!

!!! Yay, I'm so glad we keep getting new people on here! Congrats on your upcoming grandbaby!! Is this one going to be a girl, too?
Does anybody know where I can get a pattern for a ladies' peasant top pattern? I would like to make one for myself.
I was thinking there was one in the bookmarks, but I haven't checked. Stephres made one recently. I don't remember what pattern she used. Boy, I'm a lot of help!!
I love Dumbo and these are so cute!!
