SugarBoogerBees and Jhamalama-

Me and Misty JUST NOW decided to go to HL since we're scared the brown and pink floral will be gone like the leopard-santa mishap of last Christmas.

NO makeup or stylishness allowed (because I didn't bother with my makeup, you all must suffer too).

Call Misty's cell phone if you're feeling as spontaneous as we are :rotfl:

I have a few minutes, and wanted to share couple things that I worked on this week... for breakfast at Crystal Palace...

This is a Tigger set that I made for my ds...do you think the fabric is too girly for a boy? I broke two needles while doing the applique last night, and still have no idea how and why the needles broke.

th_IMG_4003.jpg

I made this next one for my dd, and need some honest opinions here...I am not sure if I really like the skirt with the top.....should I make another skirt to go with the top? What do you think?

th_IMG_4019.jpg

Jenny

Really cute! I like the shirt with that skirt. I have a feeling I will be making several outfits like that this summer. DD4 has said she wants to wear twirly skirts this summer.

Heather, I forgot to quote it, but I love that jumper & the bear's dress. Is that pattern supposed to fit 18 in dolls? If so, I just had a great idea....

LOL! YOU got censored!!! :rotfl2: (sorry:rolleyes1 )

Congrats on your weight loss!!! I was gonna call you a big loser but didn't know if you'd know I was kidding ;)

I can't believe I was censored and I wasn't even trying to be naughty. :lmao: Out of all the things I could be censored for... :sad2:

You can call me a big loser anytime! I'll happily be a big loser for the next 70 pounds! It seems like such a huge amount of weight to try and conquer. I'm trying to keep my mind on the smaller picture and not then big picture right now, just so I don't get discouraged. I've had a tough time since I started back at the gym the beginning of the year.

I picked up the fabric for the farm outfit, I'll post it later, I've got to get it in the washer so I can start working on it this weekend. Now if I could only find the pair of jeans I want to use to make this outfit I'd be in business. They are around here somewhere...

I had taken Delaney over for gymnastics only to find out they didn't have it today. I did manage to get her registered for Day Camp. There was some huge state swim meet, we were lucky to get a parking spot it was crazy at the center today.

Hello everyone. I have been so busy that I got behind in my post so I am kinda cheating and just looking at all the pic. You all have been so busy and to my :scared1: so have I. I  all the outfits boys and girls. I like getting ideas for boy things even though I don't have a boy I have a nephew. I am proud to say my little Megan is getting an honor roll award today and she requested that I make her a skirt. I promise to take pics of her in it today and post. I forgot to this morning. Well enough rambling. By the way so far Emily is doing good in her cast and hasn't complained once about.

Yeah for Megan!!!!!

And, Emily looks so cute! What a good girl!

I am SOOOO jealous!!!! I wish I could hop on over there and join you ladies!!! I never wear makeup, so I'm good to go! Have fun, I hope they have the fabric you are looking for!

You aren't letting Misty drive, are you?

You can do it!!! One day at a time.

Last week when I went to Weight Watchers, the leader was talking about the core program (I always want to add a Y to the end of that!) and said "Remember, there is no bread that tastes as good as losing weight feels."
To which I thought to myself, "Obvisously, she has never had the cinnamon pecan swirl bread from Great Harves Bread Company!" YUMMY UMMY YUMM!!!MMMMMMM!!!!!

Ok, that didn't help, but I thought it was funny!!! :rotfl2:

I went to joann's last night and bought some supplies to make my daughter a dress for the 1st time! I also bought the learn to sew tutorial from ycmt.com. I really like it. It's very easy to follow. I don't know if a dress is too ambitious for a first timer but I'm going to try. I can't upload any new pictures to my computer because it is stupid and I have to wait til I get my taxes back to fix it. But here is a picture of the pattern. I am making the second blue dress. I bought a pretty brown 100% cotton fabric with these pretty pink mod looking roses all over. I'm nervous!

I know you can do it and I can't wait to see what you make!

Hmmm, wasn't Misty just saying something about using her fabric before she bought more??? I knew I couldn't have been reading that correctly. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Must be the effects of the drugs. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Hope you guys found what you were looking for.

Umm, yeah, I can think of lots of things that taste better. Apparently that's why I'm still fat. :rolleyes1 :rotfl: I like the new siggy picture. Look at those beach babes. :thumbsup2

That is so funny because I just got back from my weekly trip to Great Harvest. I paid for my loaves of honey whole wheat, then got my sample slice of Popeye bread which has spinach, red peppers and gobs of melted parmesan cheese. I fell in  with it and told the lady "well, I'm going to have to buy a loaf of that now" and she said "oh here, just take one, don't worry about it" So for lunch I am having the yummiest (FREE!) bread!!!!! I just hope I don't eat the whole loaf.

Well Wendy, I guess I am missing out on the HL trip. :sad1: I just got home and the kids are coming home from school in an hour. It takes me 30 minutes to drive there and 30 back. I want brown fabric with pink flowers!!! I may have to make sugarbees go get me some! Show me pictures! Don't buy it all! Lily, Jayedyn, Jayden, Norah and Saylor need matching outfits! :rotfl:

Hi Everybody..
Quick update on me...LOL
I went and took my NCLEX. I don't know what it stands for...only that it was the hardest thing I ever had to do. By question 14 I was ready to give up. I actually had the lady come over and assure me that I was taking the right test. I managed not to cry until I got to the elevator. I cried the whole way home. It was an absolute nightmare. I called friends who had recently taken it and they said it wasn't bad...I graduated top in my class, how could it have been easy for them...stinkers..anyway, after 2 days of worrying, I found out today that I PASSED!
I'm so happy. I actually cried, again, when I saw the screen and saw the word pass. I had to look at it twice before I really saw it.
Thanks for the kind words everyone! It's a huge relief to get that over with... Now let the sewing weekend, begin!!!

Congratulations!!! I've been wondering how that went for you!! My sister had to take that test not long ago...she said half way through it she had decided she shouldn't be in the medical field at all b/c she was CLEARLY too brain dead to even understand the questions!

She passed too.

:lmao:

Isn't it nice to have that sort of worry over?!

Now you can breath and rest in the knowledge of your vast intelligence.

AND you can sew.

it's good to be YOU!!!

:goodvibes
