Disboutiquer's Fabric Swap!

Okay guys, I just had an idea...lol...I know, I know, scary, huh? Anyway, this is what I was thinking.....I want some Dr. Seuss fabric and Pottery Barn Kids has the perfect Dr. Seuss bedding, however, it is quite expensive. My "brillant" (??? haahaha) idea was to find a few people to go in on an order with me. I am not sure how many yards are in a sheet set but I thought we could share. What do you think? Any takers????

So Jeanne...do you know how many yards are in one of those? I know you would make something truly adorable for your sweet lil' Lilly!!!!

I went in on a sheet buy once. We got a queen sheet set and split it 4 ways, everyone got about a yard of the bottom sheet, yard of the top sheet and 1 pillow panel. I think the pieces were just shy of a yard (guess I could and measure, haven't touched it yet). I think the Dr Suess is all the same design atleast, but the queen set is $139!

Even split 4 ways that is way more then I could ever pay.

I was excited to find that Mickey Large Disco Dot last year on clearance at Joanns when I was in Montanna!!!! lol - DH would NOT let me purchas the rest of the bolt though - grrrrrrrr

I love that rainbow mickey disco - where were you able to purchase that? Its soooo cute - I have the one thats more of the oranges....

I bought the rainbow Mickey at JoAnn's about a week ago. It was in the red tag fabric section. I got it for $2 a yard! I can check next time I go in if you want some!

Depending on the price per person I *may* be able to split. I would love some. My ds had a book bag that his teacher made him out of the green super hard to find Dr. Suess fabric, and on more than one occasion I have thought about cutting it up.

I think I still have purple Bambi fabric. But I am sure it is not the same thing.

Ooohhh I saw some purple bambi on etsy once...for the bargain price of 14 bucks a yard! I couldn't do it.

WOW....when you put it like that...it is still kinda expensive. I guess I was thinking there would be more yardage...hahaha. Hmmm....why oh why is everything I LOVE so EXPENSIVE????? Does anyone else ever have that problem????

I found these dresses online and asked the maker where the fabric was from but she said Mexico and that I would not be able to find it. I am doing my DD bedroom in mickey and minnie and would love to find these for her bedding. any ideas? thanks in advance!

ok I am not able to post the pictures but one of the fabrics looks like mickey and minnie laying under a tree very large! the other one had mickey and minnie written on it about 5" long? don't know how to post pictures it says I do not have enough post but I could email the pictures is you think you know what I am talking about!

You have to have 10 posts to post a picture (I think). You can just do a countdown and post #'s, 1, 2, until you get enough. We are good with that!

More then likely it came from a sheet set or another country, if another country, or well a sheet set too, most like ebay will be the best place to find it. If we could see a picture though we possibly could point you in the right direction faster!
