Okay, I am really late in joining this. I am more then willing to do somewhere where I can help, probably a FQ group. I have no idea what I have right now except tons of fabric everywhere! So if there is an opening let me know what kind of fabric I might need. I have a boy, but probably okay with whatever.

Susan, is your AK swap print by any chance the lion print you used in this skirt? I want to CASE it so badly, but can not find that print at Joanns or anywhere else. If this is the fabric you have extra of, and if it would be at all possible, I would looooove to have just a long strip for a skirt ruffle instead of a FQ (I'm asking to be added to the AK FQ group.) My DD is probably a little smaller than Makayla so I shouldn't need too much, just enough for one row, not even the 2 rows like you did. Sorry, I just love this skirt!

I haven't kept up with this thread nearly well enough. I have some questions. What was the ruling on washing the fabric, do or don't? 6x6 bundles, are we sending out 2 squares? and did I need to let people know what fabric I'm sending?

Someone help a sister out here.

It was wash, YES, and it is up to you if you want to let people know what you are sending etc.

I think it was decided that for the 6X6 groups, to wash the squares so there isn't shrinkage in the final "product." For the bundles send at least 2 squares - you are welcome to send more if you want. We orginally were picking what fabric we were sending so there wouldn't be any duplicates in a group. So yes, let us know what fabrics you are sending out.

Sorry guys I didn't send addresses today. DS's birthday is Friday and his party is Wednesday night so it's been a little busy here. I will get out addresses tomorrow!! Night all!

OK, I forgot to say what I was sending, but I sent some princess cheater-quilt squares to the girls' 6x6 group. They went out in the mail today. the squares are a little big (I put in notes, but being cheater fabric, I just cut the squares teh size they pre-set. They will be easy to cut down if necessary. If anyone doesn't like that, I will resend you soem 6x6 squares of a different fabric, I just seem to only have fabric other people already have and wanted tos end something a little different. Ok, that's all.

CRAP, I just bought blue fabric w/ mickey on it for the boys FQ's cause I forgot that Daisylou was sending that out. Add it to "the stash"...I'm gonna have to move out of my stash out of the laundry basket soon!!... I had previously swapped the blue cammo mickey fabric I originally thought I had. Well anyway. I have a fairies print for the girls FQ's but also have some cuties fabric left if anyone wants that instead of faeries. I'm hoping that our joann's which is apparently the last store in the country to update its fabric has something on Fri. I haven't seen new dis prints in there in 6 months!!! I may have to travel out of town.

Have Fairy fabric washed and ready to iron and cut as soon as Thanksgiving is over and I get a rotary blade. I anticipate getting the girls FQ's out early next week.
Boy's??? Gotta find new fabric as both of mine were a wash. Hoping to get something on black friday...keep your fingers crossed.

if anyone would like to contribute any leftover 6x6's squares of any disney fabric to my mega eye spy quilt i would gladly appreciate it , i am looking for any and all disney and would only need 2 squares each. i will gladly compensate you for it i want a huge quilt to fit 5 kiddos . TIA just pm if you are interested.
