DISboards Push Notifications

Each day when I log onto DISboards, I am invariably hit with this:



I "X" it out and then get this:



I always click "Never ask again".

I'm very good about clearing out cache files, cookies, history, etc. So, I understand why this would pop up again. It's irritating, but I understand.

There needs to be something set up in our profiles so that we can, once-and-for-all, click "Never ask again" and we're actually never asked again.

As I said, I understand why this pops up each day, but it's still irritating.

On my older computers and laptops, it happens with every page you open, not just when you open or log on for the first time. Every thread I open to read has it.

It is annoying. I have no interest in a push notification.

I have never seen that message, but I have ALL notifications turned off already. I don't follow any one or any threads, get no notice when I am quoted, etc.

I just went in to look at my preferences, and it did have enable push notifications checked(?) but since I use a desktop computer to access the dis it can't get them. i unchecked it so maybe I will get that message next time? Since the email address the dis has is one I haven't used in 10 years I don't get emails either.

Nope, just logged out & back in and did not get that message.

Do you have an ad blocker? Or pop-up blocker?

I have never gotten or seen the message. I have an ad blocker and pop-up blocked.

I see all the ads on this site. Not sure if I have the pop up blocker on, I sometimes do swagbucks and need it off for that I think? The only things I get push notifications from are apps, as far as I know, not things I access through a browser.
