I've really enjoyed reading this board over the last few months, and I'm more than prepared for my upcoming trip.

I have a question about the board. I normally search by clicking on "new posts". This board is busy enough during the day to browse 12-20 pages of threads every few hours. At night, it's a different story. Clicking on new posts frequently only yields a page or two of new posts to browse. I work nights and am generally a night person, so I'm frequently here at night. New posts since I last checked limits my ability to browse. I end up searching by individual sections.

I used to frequent a board on a completely different subject that used this same format. Instead of "new posts", it allowed you to search by anything posted in the last 24 hours. This way, I can not only see what I've missed, but at night, I can take a closer look at threads I might have skimmed past during the day.

Is there a reason for using new posts over last 24 hours as a search function?
