I'm a switchboard operator. My console is on the computer so I can answer calls and read the disboards...how cool is that!

I am....it's Friday, right before lunch...all my work is done for the week...I still have the afternoon to go....in which case I'll be the only one here till I close up...I need a beer....I'm thinking of taking a nap in one of the rooms downstairs...it's raining and crummy outside....think I might leave early today...this site really helps make the time go by!

Ok I am fessing up....but I do collect utility bills at a drive-up window so as long as I look busy and greet everyone with a smile it makes it ok, right? Right?

Wow. This thread's been open for about an hour and already 60+ people (including myself) are admitting to being at work. So much for the economy's productivity gains.

But seriously, if I wasn't spending time on here, I'd be,........ well let's see, I guess I'd be over at Bigsoccer doing the same thing.
