I just got an email back from the wdw mail order program thing, where your supposed to be able to purchase wdw merchandise and they'll send it straight to you.

Well, the two things I wanted were 1) A new 50th celebration name badge and 2) a bar of the polynesian chocholate, you know, the one with the picture of the resort on it?

Well, I knew the second one would be near impossible to get, but they denied me the first one too.

I guess im going to have to go through the laughingplace.com or something like that.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get my second item though? Any would be appreciated!

(PS...im trying to get this as a surprise for my dad...its been a few years since he's gone and I think he needs some disney in his life!)

Disney mail order will not take orders for the name tags. You need to call the stores that supply them directly. Here is the number for the Christmas Store in Downtown Disney, 1-407-828-2042. They will be able to help you.

I'm guessing the Poly chocolate is sold in their gift shop. Perhaps you should try calling the Poly directly and asked to be transferred.

Is this something that is available at the Poly? If it is, then I would call the Poly directly and ask them to send it to you. Call the main number and they can connect you to the gift shop that sells it. I have ordered things from the WL merchantile and they have shipped it right out.

See, now thats the thing, I didnt know if it was avaliable directly in the poly gift shop, cause its always waiting in ht room for us when we get to the concierge...I suppose I should look into it.

I was hoping by mid-May sometimes to get these things though. Doesnt really matter I suppose. lol. I was just trying to do something nice for my dad. I mean, the man has brough me and my four younger sisters quite a few times now...(me alone 8 or so times!)

I thought they would send just about anything that isn't perishable. They would probably charge $6 to mail the chocolate bar(plus the price of the candy)-- there must be some profit in that.

From what I understand Disney resort delivery will also not send food items back from the parks to your Disney hotel either. I don't think they ship food items period for fear of spoilage.

Is this for an upcoming trip? And if you always have them waiting from concierge, are you staying concierge, have them look into it if so.... good luck, hope you get them for your Dad

visit www.laughingplace.com . They have a store and can get you almost everything! I have already ordered 4 name badges and 2 pair of gold ears. They took a little over a week and the shipping was very cheap! I highly recommend them!

Its too bad you cant get the perishible items. Even just the mickey shaped pretzels. I mean, if im wiliing to pay for shipping, you would think.
