One thing I have yet to see addressed is the fact that more times than not its the parent that causes the issue. They are the ones who feel privileged enough to try and get 'pumpkin bear' a seat at the adults only places. I strongly doubt that a 8 year old would walk into an adult session and not turn around and just walk out. Its usually because mom and dad feel their child is the exception to the rule, their child is well behaved and that should be noted. Blahhhhh.
I was relaxing at satalite falls one time, it was pretty full up there. A dad brought his child (7 or 8ish) up and told him to play in the falls. The child was having a grand time running the circle and splashing the water but the folks trying to relax or read a book were not amused. A CM came over, on his own, and told dad he had to take JR and leave the area. Dad did not like the suggestion and told the CM no. Not sure what all was said after that however dad took Jr and stormed off. It wasn't JR's fault, he was just doing what dad told him to do. That's one example of the adult/child privilege I have witnessed. I've seen children asked to leave and they normally just go, I've seen adults asked to take their children and there is an argument. I know it doesn't happen this way
all the time but the majority of what I have seen has been this.
As to walking through the adult area to get to the kids pool or food venues, who cares?? If its a straight walk through why would it bother me? I have better things to worry about and since I'm on vaca I don't want to think of those things either. I blame
DCL for their bad design. Now, if a child decides to stick around.......different story.
