Disappointed with princesses at CRT

LOL shows how much i know.....we were at CRT last june...i just assumed that was how it was:confused:
the princess all came by us for a photo, and to sign our book( which we also did not know about till our server asked if we had one- she brought us 2 which we thought was extremly cool!)
i never would have thought in a million years they would be able to spend more time with us..we have 10:30 PS, and the place was very busy yet....fairy godmother was downstairs in the hall so we did spend a few more minutes with her....
we are going to try again for CRT next trip - mabye since i found the disboards, i will go in not quite so clueless this time

want to add also thank you for the great info on here....we were also very clueless when Cinderella said she had to get going to get ready for her show ( i thought that was her way of nicely saying she needed to move to the next table....little did i know there was actaully a show outside the castle LOL.....if you were at MK june 24th
last year, we were the entire family that was totally in outer space... from poor planning and lack of info.....NOT this trip!! we are going to ready to ROCK! LOVE THE DISBOARDS!!!!!!

but we did have fun and this next trip i am pretty sure it will only be 2 of us- myseld and DD age 6. DH and DD 14 will probly sleep in :)

....DD age 14 when we go said in response to my saying we will eat at cinderellas castle again...." AGAIN -( whining) WHY????" so i assume she does not want to LMAO ( shes too cool, but we will see once the trip gets closer )

We have had breakfast here three times since 2001 and have enjoyed each time. I always enjoy talking to Mary Poppins to get my daughter on the straight and narrow and to eat her breakfast. We haven't had a bad experience and I always suggest people go for the first seating.

I just LOVE walking up Main Street before the park opens, it feels magical!

It's a great place to see so many face characters and they've always been wonderful. I think the breakfast is just so-so, but others we have dined with really enjoyed it.

I'm pretty particular about service and have not been disappointed in this breakfast yet!

We've done both over the past three trips in 18 months and I would have to say that 4 out of 5 of us would say the Norway Princess breakfast is better overall (My 4 yr old would say she'd like to see Cinderella). The princesses come out one by one and stop at each table during a seating. Each one this past April made a point to call my 4 yr old "princess" and as soon as they left she would remark to us "She called me a princess too!" She couldn't get over it.

The meal in Norway is much simpler, but tasty and the whole process of getting there (we stay at DVC Epcot resorts) and the timeframe is much more comfortable for us.

While we enjoyed CRT last July, I didn't miss it this year.

We just had breakfast at CRT last week and my daughter had lots of interaction with the Princesses. Some of them actually asked what our plans were for the rest of our day. We were even able to get Cinderella to come back to our table for another picture with my wife. I guess it depends on how early your PS is. We were one of the first tables seated (right by a window overlooking the Carousel), so the restaurant wasn't crowded yet. My best advice is to get as early a PS as possible.

I haven't read through all of the responses here, but I must say that we were very disappointed with this character meal. For me, I was more disappointed in the quality of the food for the price. I know that many of you say you pay for the atmosphere, but even that wasn't worth it to me. I can't believe I worked so hard to get this reservation...what a waste of $50 for us!

At this breakfast was me and DH, two of our friends with their 4 -year old girl and 2-year old boy. Now, I was so excited about this breakfast as I really wanted to get my picture taken with the princesses (yes, I am 28 but I was still really excited about this). This was the only breakfast where I felt like a freak asking to get my picture taken. It seemed that I was bothering them for this photo! They needed to rush off to get to the next table. I think I would have been okay with this had the food been worth it. But sadly, it wasn't. :(

We enjoyed our other character meals more, including Park Fare which was one of my favorites.

I'm all for the adults having character interaction, but certainly not more than the children.

While I agree that everyone should have equal time, I don't agree with this. DH and I do not have children but wanted to do this breakfast mostly so that I could have my picture taken with all of the princesses. I never read anywhere in the rules that said the breakfast is mostly for children. I paid fair and square for my meal and just because I don't have little princesses doesn't mean I should not have my time with the characters. :(

FABULOUS even though we go without kids. On the other hand , we were disappointed that the princesses at Norway did not even make an effort to be "magical"; a few did not even come over and the ones that did just asked "do you want a picture?" and left quickly when we replied in the negative. I am a "big kid" and enjoy talkng to the" ladies" about the Beast or a particular dwarf. The CRT ladies always respond in kind.

We experienced this rushed atmosphere in 2002, which is why we have a been there, done that attitude towards CRT. For my money I am paying for more than breakfast--I could get a much better breakfast for what they charge, so character interaction is a requirement when I pay that kind of money for it.
