OP, that has to be upsetting for your DD, as well as the situations others have mentioned, not being in the YB. 
I like the elementary school yearbooks. They were fairly inexpensive paperbacks and a nice keepsake. I moved to a different state early in HS and completely lost touch with people. I would have loved to have had a yearbook from elementary (grades 1 - 8) school.
There were times when I wasn't overly thrilled with the way my kids' yearbooks turned out. But, whatever.
DS had kind of a funny situation in HS. Since there was no boys' indoor track team (due to proposition whatever...equality in sports for girls and boys?), they had individual entrants from the school. They were allowed three, I think. Early in the season, DS had to stop running because of foot issues. The other runners were very active in track, indoor and out. On picture day, he was the only one there, so he alone represented boys' indoor track in the YB. I bet the parents of one of the other boys...the parents who pretty much "coached" and organized the "team"...were none too happy. Oh well.
