I'm glad to hear you'll be better very soon. I would still do a lot of cranberry juice though.

I think you will be fine but like the others said call and request a room closer to the main building if that will make you feel better. I think if you are with a lot of people around you, you'll feel better. You are totally going by yourself. You lucky duck you.

Yep, still doing the cranberry and water diet haha.

I can understand your thought process..but maybe if you look at it as Pop being a super family friendly resort hotel then you can feel more at ease. I personally think I would be a bit more nervous if i had to stay at the Poly in the corner garden room we had on the 1st floor by myself than in a super busy hotel like Pop...but its totally up to your comfort level. If spending 200 dollars more to stay at POR eases your mind, then i say go ahead, it is YOUR vacation after all!..:hug:

Do you have a specific security concern with staying at Pop?? We just returned from our first visit to Pop and loved it, but I don't tend to be to anxious. Maybe if you stayed close to Classic Hall or pool side where there might be more people around?? Just an idea.......................P

I'm just thinking how I may feel later at night if my room were say way back in the 80's section or something and not many people were around as I was walking back to my room. I stayed in the 80's sections once and one thing I really did not like about it is that you could see the main road from our room so I began to envision crazy pyschos just walking over to the resort. Overactive imagination much? I think I'm just gonna save myself the $200 and stay at Pop, just requesting a closer room.

I think it's because you are by yourself and I totally think the CM would understand if you wanted a room closer to the main building being that you're by yourself. I would call before you get down there. I totally would do that myself.
 
I need a little disney advice. I'm already booked at Pop century, standard room with a AP rate for a total of $275 for 3 nights. I was thinking (typical) that I was a little nervous to be at Pop (for I do not know what reason) since I will be alone 80% of the time so I just checked to see if there were any rooms at Port Orleans. They had POR available which bumped my total up to $475. I told him I would stay where I was (Pop). Finances are getting a little tight for me and even though I'm going to be working soon, I want to be able to have money (and credit availability) for an apartment, furniture, etc. Guess I'm just looking for reassurance that I will be okay at Pop or reasons to justify the extra cost of moving to a different resort.
I've stayed at Pop solo before, and will be staying there solo again this fall. As long as you use common sense, you should be fine.
 
I have some very sad news. My cat died suddenly while I was at work last night. He was fine all day, or at least appeared to be, but I found out on my break that he was gone. I am just so depressed today.
You have my sympathy. I didn't even want our kitty when we got her, and now I love her so much. My heart breaks for you.

I am doing very well for my recommit day today. I already had 38 oz of water. I'm just sitting at my computer sipping away while not thinking that my brain wants some bad thing for me to eat. I had breakfast (a shake), for lunch I made a cheese sandwich on WW whole wheat bread with some yellow mustard and two cups of grapes. I feel full but I need to drink more water because my belly is starting to growl. It always does this the couple of days when I start fresh from a week of bad choices. I can do it.:)
I need a recommit day! Thanks for bringing it up. For tomorrow, no hard candy, no Hershey's kisses, no Cheetohs. Can you tell what my eating was like today?

OK. water and the bike tonight. At least enough to burn off the Cheetohs.

Good Morning! :goodvibes It's sunny and beautiful here today, although a little chilly.

I worked out to Jillian Michaels yesterday and today I am very sore!!! The fronts of my thighs hurt and the muscle under my right shoulder blade hurts!!!:scared1: I know, "No pain, no gain" but it's still uncomfortable! I'm hitting the treadmill this morning.

Busy day ahead of packing and cleaning...that is my life right now. My sis is coming on Sunday to help me, so we'll be doing some painting while she is here. Why is it all those things you've been meaning to do around the house get done when you are selling the house??? :confused3

I had to wait til I lost the weight I'd put back on. hee.

Which is a .6 gain from April 4th. Which we will take!

wonders - just have them put you on the pool side of a building - that way there will be people around!

Gina - I was looking at the videos. Which one do you have or which one is your favorite. I would like one with the exercise bands thought, one comes with the DVD. I'm going to order it as soon as I hear back from you.
I like the 2 mile / 1 mile with boosters one ..that way i can do a full 3 miles if i am feeling especially spunky or just break it up..i would say get one with the stretchy band because you can use that on its own too..its a fun little tool I also have the 5 mile which is good but more fast paced and broken into segments also and i have the 1 mile w boosters/jog one or something like that.


Have a Peeperish day..i am hoping that scale is my friend tommorow..i have been good with points ( besides a run in with M and M's last night...i swear they accosted me! flex points right, flex points ;) ) i def. could have worked out more but i will go to curves again tonight, i walked briskly with the d.o.g. last night so that was good and did some kettle bell exercises...i always get so nervous on WI day Eve! I already have my meal plan for the day:
Fiber 1 cin raisin toast with spray butter 2
yogurt 2
lc pizza 6
SUSHI for dinner~! i will go more the sashimi route tonight ;)
I am sure i will throw a fiber one bar and some fruit or sf jello in for fun too :)

Jillian Michael workouts are NO JOKE! but you get some serious results if you are consistent with them. Which one did you do

this morning i did level 2 of the 30 days shred...it was only 20 minutes i wanted to do extra cardio afterwards but I just couldnt do it I was too beat!

Good girl for exercising today even though your sore from yesterday. Maybe I should pretend we're moving and then my house will get decluttered, it's an idea right. Are you packing up everything because you found or house or are you just packing the essential things that you don't need everything?

Welcome back, I recommited yesterday after a depressing weight gain on Tuesday at my WW meeting. I did very well yesterday. I was hungry, or at least my brain wanted to eat, so I had a sf jello and I went to bed early. Of course I woke up starving today. So I had a little something but I'm good now. Yes you are absolutely right about the scale thing, never trust another scale. ;)

I like the 2 mile / 1 mile with boosters one ..that way i can do a full 3 miles if i am feeling especially spunky or just break it up..i would say get one with the stretchy band because you can use that on its own too..its a fun little tool I also have the 5 mile which is good but more fast paced and broken into segments also and i have the 1 mile w boosters/jog one or something like that.

I did very well yesterday (see post above) but today I woke up starving. I had cin toast too but I had the real kind with a tsp of butter (got get me some of that spray butter, I ran out) and my whole breakfast was a lot of points, the bread was 2 points each and I did a tsp of butter which was one 1point and then including my coffee was almost 8 points I think for the total breakfast. I track online so I don't have my tracker in front of me. It's not as bad as I thought although yesterday was tuff, always the first day for me is hard. I need to go get some "diet" foods. I did buy some of those 100 calorie packs yesterday so those I have for snacks. Oh I'm going to stop typing now because I'm a chatter box today. Going to DS6 class today for science week, we're making ice cream :scared1: .

I am behind on my DVR shows..i was just watching dancing with the stars! Does anyone else find it annoying when they couples do those cheesy things and actout things..Like lip synch "call" and then they pretend the are dialing an imaginery phone or when they act out they are surprised to see each other or the will annouce a couple and then one pops up from the bottom of the screen and the other dancer looks "surprised" to see them..its so cheesy and unneccesary lol...i dont know why all the hate but it really annoys me...:lmao:

HEy there wondering if anyone remembers me???? Hope you all are well and I would like to join in again.

God has been keeping life busy and sadly I turned to food and giving up on my health.

We almost lost DH after a rough Christmas and thnkafully had a terrific heart surgeon and a huge angel!

My DDad passed away on April 2nd we were due to be in WDW that day too so glad I had taken the time off. He toook me the first year it opened on 1971 and was the greatest man I have ever known and was very annoyed by the lack of effort I gave to my health and weight so tomorow will be a month and I have made a commitment to honor him with getting back to doing the right thing.

I have The Biggest Winner and I did "Shape Up-Front". My chest muscles to my shoulders are hurting as well. She really did "kick my butt"! :yay:

We have not found a house yet, but i am "decluttering" and packing up all thos non-essential things. I also cleaned out my closet and got rid of 4 garbage bags of clothes and a half bag of shoes! :scared1:
