Several rough days here............. the stress is actually helping me stay on plan though......... whoda thunk?

Anyway, I'm -1.2lbs for the week.

Good Morning!

Lost 2 this week! However, I gained 5 on vacation, so that puts me at gained 3 since my last reporting. Does that make sense??? So Aaron, I believe I now have 5lbs to lose by Cinco de Mayo! POOP! :sad2:

Cleaning out the closet in the bathroom today and packing away towels and other "stuff" that has accumulated in there over the years. Also packing away the Christmas dishes in the kitchen cabinets. :yay: I am really working my rear off to get this house ready by May 5th to put it on the market. Luckily, the realtor came up with a higher number than we were thinking it would go on for, so that's nice. We can use all the money we can get for a down payment on our next house. And it will be listed between where other houses are, so since there's nothing in that price range, that should help us.

Wendy...You look gorgeous in that picture! What is it you are doing to be losing so quickly??? I need a secret or something to help me get the 5 lbs off my May 5th!!! ;)

I put you down for 2 this week, Gayle. Is that OK? I'm never sure how to handle Disney gains. :confused3

Ok, lots of low carb soups. One full meal is a Protein shake (doubled to 2 servings which makes 50 grams of protein) which tastes like vanilla snot, NO soda except for "medicinal purposes". Lots of salad, chicken and fish. For snacks, nuts, string cheese, jerky, deli meat, cottage cheese, or more soup. I'll post the recipe(s) again. I make 3 magic soups. Full of protein that keeps me full and happy. For carb cravings(which I do not have any more) a half a banana or small apple or some mandarin oranges helped me.

Water water WATER. And lots and lots of "other exercise" from my newly happy marriage. ;) See Dr. Oz.

Thanks Wendy! Not sure I could get down the "vanilla snot". I have texture issues that get my gag reflex going! Not pretty!!! :rotfl2: I do have your pumpkin soup recipe, which I will be making this week. I just need to buy a few things for it. "Happy Marriage" exercise is as good as "Empty Nest" exercise!!! :thumbsup2 And I get that kind of exercise frequently!!!
 

Quick drive-by before my staff meeting... -1.8 today. Considering this is TOM week and I almost always gain/maintain, I am pretty happy!! Plus I made my Cinco de Mayo goal, I think...

That puts me at 22 lbs lost since Feb 5, and a grand total of 47.8 since Feb 2007.
 
Hi all! I'm posting this as I'm getting ready to head out the door and continue work on my fence. Not exactly the way I like using vacation days, but it's gotta get done. Anyway, I am -0.6 pounds this week. I'm telling you, my body is clinging to every single ounce! This might sound like a defeatist attitude, but I've decided to just stop worrying about it. I would obviously love to lose another 10-15 lbs, but stressing out over it like I have been ain't helping either. I'll just continue to eat right and exercise; and if my body decides to shed a few more pounds, then great. But I REFUSE to let my recent progress (or lack there of) take away from the fact that I am 1.2 pounds away from a 75 pound total weight loss! And that's what has been happening lately. I look in the mirror and see the love handles and jiggly stomach and lose sight of the fact that I am so much healthier than I was three years ago. I've never been a vain person, and I don't intend to start now. So I'm trying to get back into the mindset that I'm not doing this to acquire a "beach body", but rather to acquire more years of life to enjoy.

Howdy folks.... just back from the World and thought I'd check in. Our trip was fabulous.... however............we will NEVER, EVER, EVER go during April vacation/spring break again. Glad we had a good plan and a good tour guide (Me!).

As far as the weight.... I had my official "post-Disney" weigh in this morning (we actually got back mid-day yesterday) and I gained 1.4 lb. Not too bad, all considered. I tried hard to have small portions and share meals whenever possible, but I did have treats and enjoyed myself. And of course, we walked ONE MILLION miles!

I'll check back in later this weekend when I have time to sit down and catch up on all of these pages! ........................P
 
I'm DOWN 1.6 today! Not a lot, but I'm sooo happy to see something positive happening!:goodvibes
 
I am down1.5this week in spite of not being able to exercise. I hurt my back on Monday and have not got the ok to do anything from my Dr. yet. I have an inflamed disk in my lower back. I think because I have been sleeping most of the time and not eating helped. Hopefully soon I will be able to be back on the computer for more than a few minutes at a time.
 
Knowing how unpeepish I was this week, I totally stink at this, I still got on the scale.

I gained 3 pounds. OY!

I even walked 4 days this week.


I think it's mostly water, cause at about Wednesday, I just wasn't drinking my water right.

I tried getting my bread in first thing in the morning, but as I can see, that's not working. Maybe I'm eating the wrong carbs for me.

Can you go through life just getting carbs from veggies. Do I have to eat the breads and pasta type carbs?

They just ruin me.

Hey everybody...

Having a REALLY bad day, wishing I were anywhere but here.

But I'm so happy to see all of the losses this week!

I'm actually up 0.2 pounds. This doesn't thrill me, but considering the way I've eaten and the minimal amount of exercise I've done I'm thrilled it's not a bigger gain than that! My goal for next Fri. is 2 more pounds off. I think I can do it if all of my snacks are either a fruit or a vegetable.

It's a bad day b/c my kids are driving me crazy while destroying my hearing. So, I'll end up deaf in a mental institution in about 1.8 years. I'm trying to keep it together (you know what I mean!) because we have some guys here putting in a well for our sprinkling system.

Anyway - thanks for listening (well, reading) and have a wonderful weekend!
 
Okay my scale is broken my 2 yr old threw it on the floor and it just is not working now:eek: But i once again went to the dentist this week and have only been able to eat soup so i would say a weight loss of 4-5, like the other weeks i go to the dentist and can't eat ;) Gotta love the teeth Diet:thumbsup2
time for the next dose of pain meds and nap since the lil' ones are asleep :love: :cloud9: Happy friday and have a great weekend peeps:hug:

I'll weigh tomorrow. My scale is the one that is used at school to weigh the cute lil' preschoolers for their wonderful creativememorieslike posters. We weigh and measure them at the beginning of school and then at the end to show how much they have grown. Soooooooo I didn't get my scale back 'til this afternoon, and I AIN'T WEIGHIN IN THE AFTERNOON. :sad2:


I've gotta get caught up. :scared:
 
I am the samefor this week. I started an intense boding toning program in addition to 1/2hr cardio and actually had gained 3 lbs by the beginning of this week.....but was very happy to see that the gain was gone this morning. I di pull out the old tape measure to check inches....and over the last 10 days of workouts....I have lost 1 1/2in. in my waist and 1/2in. in my hips. My bust is to small to bother measuring.:rotfl2:

Hopefully if I watch my WW pts. and keep up the workouts.....I can look for a loss next week.
