Cough Cough, oh my stomach muscles.

Thanks for all your prayers and kind words.

The Dr. today said it's gonna be slow to recover. I need to rest as much as possible. He told me no working at all this week.

The clincher is my DD's have ear infections too. Last night DH and I were up pretty much from 2-5 dealing with them. The urgent care dr. didn't catch it or it came on after.

Now they are on antibiotics and hopefully tonight will be easier.

I know my son didn't have this. He had a brochitis/asthmatic type condition. His Dr. overruled the ER doctors diagnosis.

I have no appetite, which ah, never happens, ever! Everything tastes nasty. My much loved morning cup of Joe is now ruined.

No tread mill for a long time either.

I will be missing class this week as well.

Let me just say, I'd rather be recouperating from having a C-section than this.

It's that bad.

Monymony3471 You poor thing. I hope you feel better soon, your DD's too!!
pixiedust: pixiedust:

I have been kinda bad today. I ate like 3 Reese cups. But I had a lean cuisine for lunch and a chicken salad sandwich for dinner today too. So the good kinda balances out the bad.

:goodvibes I just saw the superbowl I'm going to DisneyWorld commerical :lovestruc it was so cute!!

me too! i was putting up the groceries and it was on and i got so excited!!! :yay: me and DH started talking about how people think we're crazy for going back to WDW again this year, but it must be a pretty cool place to visit if they send the super bowl MVP there every year!!!! :teacher:

i wish more pats fans were like you, gina! and my DH is a recently-convered sox fan....i bought him a hat last year! he's been following them the last two seasons and they've definitely grown on him!
hahah thanks dawn :) i wish some pats fans i knew were more like me too..i hate sore losers..and sore winners. I was def. not one of the people thinking that a superbowl win was our God-given right...but man, there were alot of people eating crow this morning !! YAY red sox!! that's cool that ray is into them...they are a fun team :)..and so far scandal free..lol!

I am dissapointed but i'm over it pretty much..now its time to root on the RED SOX..lol! :)
That made me laugh. Our former pastor's license plate says " Sox Pats". I guess if you love one, you have to love the other.

Yes they do. I counted no more then six threads, that were about things I'd posted on the CB, and that's just from the last month. Apparently I'm a dumb*** because I misspelled selfish shelfish earlier today. Now they want me to get points so I can't have a signature, because apparently my glitter princesses are annoying to them, so I added Aurora, since at this point I'm glad they're annoyed.
I'm sorry some people have to be so hurtful. We all misspell, because our minds are too quick for our fingers.:rotfl: It's so much easier to be be destructive and critical than to be supportive and creative. So just ignore those nitwits. They can only make themselves feel important by trying to drag others down. :snooty: to them!

I keep forgetting to post my miles on the exercise bike. I need to remember to look when I'm on the bike. Then I'll be able to count back, because I've done 1/2 hour a night every night except Saturday, when I did 40 minutes on the elliptical. I'll check on the miles for that too.

I meant to post that DH and I were able to walk the dogs last night. It was 62 degrees! It was nice, and they needed it. Of course, so did we! Well, I'm a geek and took my handheld Garmin so I would know how far we walked and the time. Well, we walked 1.65 miles in 31 minutes! :cool1: That made a total of 3.72 miles and 63.50 minutes for yesterday! :cool1:

Monica - I hope you feel better soon! I'm keeping all my exercise info in a nice Excel Spreadsheet, so I can give you the totals when your back on your feet.

Hi all,

The Superbowl was Excellent!! We stayed up to watch it, it didn't kick off until 11.15pm here but it was worth it! Even Dfi enjoyed it and hes a mad Pats fan (well, not enjoyed but you know what I mean!)

Mony - I hope you are feeling better soon

Disneyfav4eva - Dont let them get to you. I have never posted on the community board. Sometimes I see a thread which I want to post on, but to be honest its not worth the hassle. I have seen some of the threads you mentioned, ridiculous. And who cares about spelling anyway?! I often wonder if they would call me out on it if I posted, as over here we spell some words differently.

I tried to put one of the sparkly princesses in my signature, but im not sure ive posted enough to be able to put one on! Oh well, just imagine theres one there! :rotfl:

Hey Peeps!

I have to catch up on the thread! I finally did all the Jillian Michael workouts!!!

all i can say is WOW!!!! they are def challenging, fun and effective and the most amount of time each workout lasts is 30 minutes. so if you are looking for a fast effective workout when you are short on time i highly suggest these workouts! but be warned they are TOUGH!!!! you def have to push yourself. Jillian explains in the beginning that most people DO NOT push themselves when working out and that is why they dont see results! I kept trying to remind myself of that when i was doing it and just wanted to shut the dvd off!

today i am also in double digits till i go to disney (99 days!) lol :goodvibes

I need some pixie dust.

I just came back from Urgent care and I have pneumonia.

Me and the girls have been sick since Friday. At least theirs is nothing like mine.

If you can remember me in your prayers, I'd appreciate it. I probably won't be around much cause I feel like I've been hit by a mac truck and backed over once or twice.

Monica, I am sorry to hear that you are so sick. I am sending prayers and pixie dust to you and your dd's. You are having such a horrible winter.

I just caught the tail end of the game. DH is happy. He's a native NYer.

I figured out something really important today. I think it's pretty obvious to most that I've done little more than maintain my weight for the last year. Now I know why. I did the math on the 12 x goal weight, and here's what I found. My goal weight is 142. 142 x 12 = 1704. My current weight hovers around 155. 155 x 12 = 1860. Difference between the two totals? 156 calories. That means if I sneak an ounce of chocolate, or don't measure the calorie-dense foods like peanut butter or salad dressing, I can easily eat the difference between my current weight and my goal weight. So I need to be super-vigilant if I want to lose these last 13 lbs. And I DO want to lose them. So live and learn.

Very interesting! I have some numbers to crunch. I hope the vigilence pays off for you.

Danielle, I hope your calorie formula discovery helps you out. I too have flatlined on the weight loss so I'm going to be trying to kick it up a notch on the exercise. I hope to get the new gym at work all put into place this week. The maintenance dept has to assemble the equipment and mount the flat screen TV, an electrician has to come in and do the wiring and I have to call the attorney to make sure I have all the bases covered before I allow my staff in to use it. This is a surprise for them. Everyone except one on my staff struggles with their weight and a few, including me, have health issues that would improve with regular exercise. I'm hoping that if we do it together, it will be fun and everyone will get healthier. I know what having this group has done for me so I'm really excited that perhaps they will support one another and make some great life changes.

I hope everyone has a great week. I expect test results this week. And I've seriously felt better mentally since I asked for your support. It really does make a difference to not feel like I go through this stuff alone.

What a great way to get everyone motivated to exercise. I am sure it will be very helpful having your staff there as a support group as well.

You are certainly are in my thoughts and prayers this week.

I was sent a PM by another DISer, that I should check out a different board, when I did I found a thread making fun of my thread, and that I'm stupid, among other things I can't post here, for thinking this is wrong.

They are just posting the most hateful things about me.

Stick with us peeps! You will never have to worry about that nonsence with us.

I just aske DH to see if he get them from Netflix. I want to check these out. Thanks for the info.

Morning peeps. I just wanted to tell you that I got my test results yesterday and it's negative for cancer. I want to thank all of you for being so great with the pixie dust. I believe it makes a huge difference and even if it really doesn't, it sure made me feel better and that counts too!!!!

I still have the lump though so I'll be seeing my regular oncologist (I have several oncologists) in 2 weeks so that he can check it out. I had lymph nodes removed during my surgery last year and someone mentioned that it might be some swelling from that. I have to wear compression sleeve/glove when I go above 4000 ft elevation and I did notice the lump after I flew to Orlando. Maybe I didn't have the sleeve on right? I'm just self diagnosing here.

Anyway, thanks to all of you. I feel better about life today. Still not thinner but feeling better.

Oh Faith that is wonderful news!!! (that's a squishy bear hug from me) I know you are so relieved. Keep us posted on your progress though. Let us know if you have to have surgery to have it removed. We will still keep you, your family, and your doctors in our prayers.

That is so great! You must be so relived. :goodvibes

pixiedust: Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. Looks like I need to send hugs and PD to lots of you! Sorry so many of you are struggling with health and personal issues. Want you all to know I am thinking of you all (especially when I am sweating on the treadclimber! :rotfl2: ) Sorry I haven't posted my b.day, but I'm embarrassed to say that I think I am the oldest one here!! And I hate that. So I will post my b.day, but not my age.

June 17 (the day before Paul McCartney's b.day!)

My mantra for this week is... (and I think you all have heard this before).... "NOTHING tastes as good as THIN feels!" Just keep repeating this!!

 and :cheer2: to you all!......................P

WHEW!!!!!!

My DF called me this morning at 7:00 AM. My DF never calls me at 7:00 AM. I don't know what to make of this. I posted last week that he was in the hospital getting tests done, so maybe he got the results back?

I of course missed the 7:00 AM call, and the 10:00 AM call, since I didn't wake up until 11:00. (I work late, I just don't sleep that late because I'm lazy.) I tried to call him back when I saw I had two missed calls from him, but now his phone is off.
