Hi Everyone else! Hope you are all having a good day! I'm eating my "big salad" as Elaine says on Seinfeld (yes, I am a Seinfeld fan!) for lunch today. I'm looking forward to my first weigh-in day tomorrow as a new peep! DH told me last night not to make plans for Saturday night as he made reservations at the local Melting Pot for dinner to celebrate our anniversary, good thing it's my "free day"! I can't wait! We don't typically do desserts so that will save some calories.

By the way, have there been any rumblings about BB tonight. I have to honestly say that I don't think I want Nick to go yet. I would rather see Kail go, just my opinion.

Love the Melting Pot! So jealous you are going there. Happy Anniversary (a little early!)

OK doing well so far today, made a yummy greek salad for lunch that I wreapped yesterday so no thinking about what I would have today.

I also made some little yummies. DS asked me to make them again and they do the trick. The little chocolate wafer that are 28 calories each with lite cool whip 1 tbps 10 calories in between. I have had 4 glasses of h2o and signed DS up for karate at the Y so he can do that while I work out.
The director teaches a class at 10 am perfect time for me after I drop off students. Sadly its called the golden girls class but heck I will feel as good as gold when I drop the weight!

The "z" seems to be working fairly well for you. Don't know if it's more trouble than it's worth, but you could "copy" an "s" from somewhere (I don't know... this one "s"). Then hit CTRL-v to paste whenever you want the "s."

BTW -- are you on a laptop or reg computer. If a reg computer, they're only about $10 at wally world or targee.

I went zhopping today ( dag gum the sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss button, hit hit hit, rub rub nada!)

Anyway Macy'z had a 70% off lowezt zale price - I got a fantaztic zkirt for $7 (like a $50 name brand cute flirty zkirty!)

Now to hope and pray I get an interview to wear it!

I alzo went to Dizney Ztore ( :banana: Ariez :yay: I need another $500!) and they had a cute pink collar, light weight zhirt - Minnie Mouze - $16 the XL fit me - the other cute zhirtz 2 fer the XL wouldnt go over the girlz :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

It's HOT HOT HOT over here this week. Mid 90's and very little rain. That is a perfect mix for a hormonal pregnant woman. Woooo Hooo!


Ok, went to the Dr. today. Nothing will change. I am still on schedule to have the baby on August 13th.

Hope everyone is on track and doing well and getting way skinny. I have some major catching up to do weight loss wise. I hope a lot of this is water retention cause I don't feel like I'm eating too much. I can't with all this heart burn.

My boys were bald and my girls are loaded with hair.

That is great! Hope you get to drop a bunch of baby weight in the birthing process... I dropped 34 out of 52 in 24 hours... :cutie:

Just wanted to stop by & say hello to everyone. I've gotta keep coming here for motivation because I am really down the past few days.

Does anyone every feel so frustrated because you are working out & eating hardly anything & still not losing any pounds??? That's where I am at this week. I've been walking/jogging about 3-5 miles a day and eating hardly anything except chicken, veggies & cottage cheese. I still haven't seen a single pound decrease on the scale. Rrrrrr....so frustrating!!

Anyway, hope you are all having a great day.

Oh yeah! I get that way sometimes! In fact, I was pretty much hovering around the same weight from May until a week ago. I was REALLY frustrated! Sounds like you have the exercise thing down. As for the food, are you counting calories, doing WW, etc? It IS possible that you aren't eating enough, and you body has gone into starvation mode. Also, my doctor told me that it takes 6 months (for a woman) to change her metabolism. So, be patient. (That is SO easier said than done!) I have started to lose a little bit again, so I'm hoping it continues. I have a long way to go. If I don't keep moving along, I might consider talking to my doctor about it in a couple of months.

It may have something to do with my metabolism. I definitely think that I'm eating enough. I'm not following a specific diet or anything but I do kind of try to restrict too many carbs and I try to stay within 1300-1500 calories a day. I had a baby 8 1/2 months ago so maybe my body is trying to get back to it's old routine & hopefully within the next month or so I can kickstart the weight loss. It's definitely frustrating sometimes though when you feel like you are working out & trying to eat right & not seeing any results...The joys of trying to lose weight...:)

:pixiedust DS was born in the heatwave of '85 - and we did NOT have a/c - I ended up with quite a rash - it had a name - condensed it was something called PPPPD I think - anyway it meant I was becoming allergic to the excess amniotic fluid - DH had to "paint" me with calymine lotion!! (yes a paintbrush worked wonders!) :rotfl: The cure? BIRTHIN that 10# baby!! :rotfl2:

wow......you guys were chatty today! i go to court and come home to 5 pages....:eek: had a horrible juvenile hearing today and have to go back tomorrow because we didn't finish. i hate days like this! there were so many things wrong with this situation that i wouldn't even know where to begin.

I have good and bads for today. Good is, I weighed in under 180 for the first time in 4 years (yes, bad me, did my pre-weigh). Hopefully that holds for tomorrow! Other good is, I fit into my 12 editor pants and almost wore them, but I felt like I need about 2-3 more lbs or a longer shirt than I had clean to feel comfy in them. Bad is, I wore a white button down shirt today that has a dark green half-sweater that ties about mid-torso over it (think schoolgirl) and my coworkers won't stop teasing me about it. :(

congrats on the loss and the pants!!!! :woohoo: and i'm sure you look very cute and your co-workers just don't have any taste! either that or they're a bunch of computer dorks...oh yeah......you've already said that!

The appt. went well! I saw the baby and the heartbeat!! My due date was the same...3/16. I also had to have 7 viles of blood drawn which I guess is actually low for your first appt. :laughing: I go back in another month. :goodvibes

yay!!!! :yay: i was wondering about that today! see....that's the problem i'm gonna have if i ever get pregnant. i don't do needles. i just don't. i know that sounds childish and unreasonable.....but that's the way it is! 7 VILES?????? i would pass out. seriously.

My goals are:

1. Lose 10 pounds
2. Go to the gym at least 3 times each week
3. Wear my pedometer every day and do 10000 steps each day.
4. Stop eating things I know I should not eat
5. Drink more water, less diet coke (I am a believer in diet coke negating the fat and calories of the food I eat. I need to stop that!)

Okay, I'm off to dust off my pedometer and get my water ready for the day!

i find that writing down what i eat helps me to control what goes into my mouth because i know i have to hold myself accountable for it. and the minute i cut out all sodas and tea and just drank water all day was when i started losing weight....so that should help you, too! i do allow myself one cup of coffee (with splenda) in the morning.

i see lynda already mentioned this, but i was gonna mention about the starvation mode, too. are you eating enough? if not, your body is probably hanging on to whatever you give it. the formula that worked for me was my goal weight (130) times 12 equals the amount of calories i should have per day. i'm sure it will start falling off if you stick to your guns!

This sounds like me! Always my downfall, especially those high calorie Mojitos!

A. and I are going on date #2 tonight. :love: Turns out he is going out of town for the weekend which is why he can't go out then. Why he couldn't have just said that instead of talking about school stuff I don't know. :confused3 And guess where he is going? Orlando! He has family up there. Pretty ironic that I wanted to invite him to Orlando to play with me and he already had plans to go there anyway. :rolleyes:

Anyway, he has work til 7 then he said he wants to head home and get cleaned up (yay he wants to be clean for me :laughing: - I totally figured he'd go straight from work). Then we'll meet up somewhere and take it from there. I'm guessing dinner? Or maybe just coffee? Don't know. But I'm planning on jeans, a cute black top (nice but not dressy) and kitten heels slingbacks. I know I look better in brighter things but most of my nicer clothes are in dark colors. Other suggestions?

i am doing weight watchers and so far i have lost 45 lbs. I still have about 45 more to go before I reach "their" goal, but for the first time in at least a dozen years I want to be in one-der land (weigh in the 100's). I have only 7 or so pounds to go to reach that goal. i'm not sure what "my" goal weight is, but i know i haven't reached it yet.

I recently set a new goal for myself. I just read an article that said if you want to stay young and live longer, aim for a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 23.4. I looked mine up online, and it's 142. then I won't feel guilty, like I should be skinnier, but I also won't just say that I've been the weight I am now for so long, why try. It's do-able, realistic and healthy. So look around online, andsee if you can find what 23.4 is for your height. I feel for the guys though (like you Aaron). those BMIs for men seem kinda scrawny.

I'm joining! I've also been lurking for a while and have decided to subscribe.

I won't be posting my weight tomorrow for 2 reasons: 1) I still haven't taken off all the weight from my DL trip in July, and 2) I'm getting on the plane tomorrow morning to join DH and go back to DL ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo Did I say we haven't been without the kids since they were born? Maybe we'll buy the bride and groom Mickey ears and pretend to be newlyweds! (I wanted to buy one for DD when she made her First Communion, but my mom said it was inappropriate. Like God and Walt aren't like this [crosses fingers].) Well I have a big list of things to do, so I better get off of here. Happy weigh-in!

I really should try to keep a food journal. That will be one of my goals also. I think that will really help because I'll be pretty grossed out if I see everything I eat in a day!

So do you only drink one cup of coffee, and then water the rest of the day? That sounds soooo difficult. But I will try! Thanks for the tips.

Dinner, fdil stopped by - we had the Farmer' Market come to town!! Fresh corn on the cob, heirloom tomatoes with fresh mozzerella, basil and balsamic vinegar... couscous... home grown carrots,.... ummm oh yeah, Challah bread! YUMMMO!! (I made a teryiaki reduction sauce!) oopps forgot to mention I had pork chops!!

Still no live feeds, so still not sure who HOH is!!
