Love the pics Dawn!! Those pants are enormous!!! What ever happened to them?? :lmao:

no idea! i think i gave them to good will or something. who knows?!?

Dawn!!! love the pics!! It looks like you and i had the same "fashion sense" in our late teens..i had pretty much the same pair of WIDE leg jeans..what was i thinking!?? Did any of your friends have those HUGE plugs in their ears? Oh mine did..and it was so "cool" at the time..ah memories..thanks for sharing yours! :lmao:

yes, my friend jason and a couple of others had those plugs that you could pretty much put your finger through if they had the hollowed out earrings in. my brother has those now......although he's not "raver" but more "urban hippy." he recently put his hair in dredlocks.....it's so gross!!

OMG the memories those pics bring up! Ew... ew... ew. I remember those ear things :scared: -- so not my style, but I had friends... Did have a pair of the huge leg jeans -- god we thought we were cool. :rotfl2:

This goes back a few more years -- anybody have a pic of themselves in "rolled" jeans (or was that just a mid-atlantic thing)? I refuse to incriminate myself...

Good morning Peeps!

Welcome home Sparkie!!!

Those pics are all so great! I have to go dig up some of myself now....pulling out the white trash scanner and headed for the photo albums.....

i totally did that when i was around 14 years old! so ugly! i'll see if i can find any pics of it. i don't mind incriminating myself.....bad fashion is just part of life!

don't worry.......i'm definitely not going for the bobble head look a la nichole richie or kiera knightly......gross!

now, this one's the best! bee/winkers - you want a laugh? check out my pants!!!:lmao:

Hate the bobble head look! Love the pants!

I keep telling my students... that piercing, gauging, or tattoo might look cool when your 18... but when you're 80 it's gonna look pretty stupid!

:lmao: I had a substitute teacher back in high school that was in his late 70s or early 80s. One of the guys in my class was talking about getting a tat of some sort on his upper arm (he had some real guns for a 17 yo) and the sub over heard him. Well this Navy vet rolled up his sleeve and showed off his tat that he got when he was young. You couldn't even begin to tell what it was. The tat was even on his forearm, not his bicep -- so I'd have expected it to hold up better...

His moral to the story -- tats may look great for a while, but that's not worth having to wear long sleeves when you get older.

You should have seen the look on my classmates face!!:scared1:  :rotfl2:

i think you're thinking about a melanoma, which is maybe the cause of skin cancer or something like that??? not sure though.

i think the anti-melatonin would be caffeine!!!

Ding, ding, ding! Drinking a cup of coffee as I type :surfweb:

Harley gave Rachel a Snow White dress for her bday but when we tried it on she screamed to get it off.Today she walks in and says she needs to try on her dress so she can wear it to eat with the princesses.I never thought she would keep it on but she did for about an hour.:cool1:

RachelasSnowWhite005.jpg

Maybe she wanted to be Cinderella??? She is adorable though! We are going to the princess breakfast in Aug. too and I don't have dresses, yet... girls won't make up their mind who they want to be. I am secretly hoping DD3 will be Snow White though :) My problem will be getting her OUT of the dress...

Welcome (back- welcome back welcome back welcome back:rolleyes1 ) i see Cotta and it just posp in my head- very cool user

Thanks! It's actually my middle name. It's a LONG story...

Ok, everyone who posted pics (even the cheaters) SO inspirational! Funny, but inspirational. I don't know if I have any 'good' pics of me on this computer (i'm at work) but I will post if i find anything!
And Dene, your numbers are incredible. Wow... WHAT are you doing?

Well I had a great morning, it's stormy and rainy which means... my kids sleep in!! Yay!! I actually got in an hour workout this morning (FIRM). Thank godness because I am headed to Chicago tomorrow and probably won't be able to workout again until Friday :(

Alrighty, everyone have a good day and keep me posted! (Board humor :sad2: )

Punkin - I was SOOOO into the rave scene for many years. Thanks for the memories!

Thank you... I do always feel loved here.

Know that I love and miss you all... Just have seperated myself from some Disney things... Now that I dont see a future at Disney... just another loss in my life.
Love to my peeps!!!

Bee

 Bee. You are definitely loved.

Kat... I'd love to see some of your jock pix.
I can tell you that I found some old measurements from March 2005... I was probably 40ish lbs below my Christmas max so the inches off are actually probably greater. But as of 7/14 I've lost the following inches:
bust -4.5
waist -7
abdomen -10.5
butt -8.25
left thigh -3.5
right thigh -4.5 (right was and still is slightly larger)
neck -2.25

Okay, trying to post a pic of my full body...

Not a good pic 'cause I used my digital camera to take a picture of a laminated newspaper clipping that is only 27 years old. This pic stays on my fridge. Probably weighed 140 then.

I will post pics when I get home... I have my latest pic from the weekend, and I hope to be able to get the fat pic from my Jan WDW trip DVD. For some reason the DVD won't play on this computer so I am hopeful that I can get it to work on Mr Kat's computer.

What incredible stats!! And I love the pic!

NINE PAGES YESTERDAY?
Now that's what I'm talking about! I'm so happy to see all the chatter!

Me too!

I have WW weigh in tonight... i KNOW i must have gained because of my birthday week last week, but i will be a brave peeper and drag myself there anyway, because that it what a good Peep would do! right? if not, i won't be sad if i dont' go to weigh in...:rolleyes1

Good luck on the weigh-in!!

punkin, I love your pics. I will finally have some to send you tonight. You have to promise not to laugh though!

I am excited. I was worried about two major expenses.

One, Mr Kat's car failed inspection because it needed tires. He has a sportscar that has expensive ($200+) tires and the front are different from the back... well, I checked the attic and found 2 fronts and one rear tire up there! I guess we bought extras from ebay the last time we replaced them, and then he found the other rear tire on ebay for $40 shipped, so my total outgo will be more like $80 and less like $800.

Two, the hot tub broke on Saturday... water was leaking from the pump and tripped the breaker. Worst case, both pumps and the controller were shorted out and we would have to replace all three (~$600-1000). DH crawled under it last night and it looks like both pump motors and the controller are fine, that we will just need to replace the end of one of the pumps. We actually have an extra one from when we were fixing it up originally, so we are going to try that first, but replacing it will still only be under $100.

Whee! Hope everyone has a skinny day!

OK...so I'll have to find some of my pics from the late 70's/ early 80's if you want a good laugh!!! I was into "punk rock" and thought I was sooo cool in my purple jeans and purple & black camouflage shirt! :lmao: (Had a green shirt exactly the same!) When I go home tonight, I'll dig them out, take a pic with the digital and post it! I too wish I was "that fat" again!!! ;)

I am sooo loving everyones old pics! I ws online last night checking out the video TR that was posted! I had to put my earphones in, as noone else wanted to hear it. I kept getting excited when he would show a ride! I think my family was ready to smack me! :rotfl2: But, needless to say, I never checked in here. Now I wish I had. Boy, I missed alot!

I had a bunch of things to comment on, but forget now! :confused3 Oh well. Maybe next time!

 i'm glad i'm not alone!

Bee - glad to see you around! :grouphug:

Punkin - First off, those pics are AWESOME! I'm very happy to say that I never got into clothes like that. Now, that's not to say I didn't have bad taste back in the day. Remember Zubaz pants? Yeah, I had like 5 pair. And I totally rolled my pants, too. But I never got into anything like those wide-legged pants. I was a pretty conservative dresser, even as a kid. And I'll concur with everyone else that even though you only showed a head shot in your "bikini" pics, I can definitely tell that you have made some awesome progress. Way to go! :thumbsup2

Everyone else - Hello! :wave2:

I love the pics! I had forgotten the bangs -- half back and teased! What a look. From the pics and ages, I'm guessing that you are about 2 years older than me. I so had that hairstyle (minus the perm) in middle school. :) Thanks for sharing! I'll have to go back and see if I have any pics this evening.

Hi Eveyone.

Welcome to the newbies.

Last week was a very busy week for me and I just didn't have time to log on.
We had bible school all of last week. My youngest son had his pressure equalizing tube replaced in his right ear, his left eardrum repaired and an adenoidectomy on Wed. of last week and has been really sick with headaches. :sad1: He has cried so much in the past couple of days that I regret having the surgery done.

Shannon-Congrats on your first date & I'm so glad that it went well. A first date that you'll never forget. :)

In junior high (yes, it was junior high instead of middle school), I had the Dorothy Hamil haircut. In high school, it was Chrissy from Three's Company. :lmao:

Hi Peeps!:goodvibes I feel like I have been such a bad Peep for not checking in the last couple of days. I haven't been feeling very Peep like and I feel bad posting when I have been such a slacker.:sad2: I know that is exactly when I NEED to post so I can get on track. I am going to try to catch up on all of the pages. (It has been busy!!) Hello to everyone!!

Shannon-I was so excited to read your discription of your date!! It sounds like it went really well. :cheer2:

Day 2 of working with Dial Up internet here (while nannying) and I have still not fallen behind! Yay! I wish I was home to share some more old pics.

Today I talked to my dad, about the loan thing and he totally understood and is going to lend my DBF the money no prob. (I mentioned this situation yesterday) it was clearly not our money mismanagement at work, it was the student loan banks continued lateness that made the check not come on time. So I feel much better about everything now that I just asked and knowing personally that the minute we get back and the DBF has that loan check in his hand he will pay my dad right back.

Punkin... love the school pics! Even though I think I am a young peep I can remember the 80s style quite well.

Hey Everybody!!!

I've missed you all so much. We got back home last night. Had a great vacation. Ate WAY TOO MUCH!!! That darn DDP! Didnt do too bad- yeah- I went ahead and surveryed the damage- only gained 1.8 pounds. Must have been all that walking and sweating I was doing. Its been 11 days since I've been on so someone give me the highlights- cause I'm just jumping back in.

I'm not going to do a trip report but let me give you a brief run down about the food anyway- food is what we are about anyway isn't it?

Whispering Caynon- arrived 20 min early for our ressie and was seated 40 min after our ressie time  Everyone ordered the skillet, easy right- wrong- the food was ok but our service was terrible.
Chef Mickey's- :thumbsup2 Dinner: good variety of normal food- get bottled water- tap water has a sulfur smell.
CRT- Dinner::thumbsup2 We loved it. Family had salmon and prime rib- delish and service was superb!
Coral: :thumbsup2 tried seared tuna- yummy!
Hoop: Loved it!
Donald's--eh- ok. Just breakfast nothing special.
Concourse - just ok
Crystal Palace, Sci-Fi, and Capt Jacks- :scared: YUCK! Service was fair to poor.

Anyway- glad to be home.

Welcome back! We leave on Sunday and we have Coral Reef and CRT on our ADR list. I had a good experience at Sci Fi, sorry to hear you weren't thrilled. Post us some pics when you have time! I love hearing about WDW experiences!!

Hey, how'd you get a picture of me??????
:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:
