dance I have been off and on the peep wagon lately so I feel your pain.

We always bring the world's largest cooler and use that for the week, even when staying in a mod (which has a fridge). This trip we are trying something new... bringing a small cooler for the CSR portion of the trip and then the villa has a full-sized fridge so we will use that. Gotta keep the beer cold somehow!!

I was pretty good so far today, but I have a feeling DH may try to drag us off the path tonight. We are going to test drive a new car after work and dinner may wind up being non-dietary.

L: Olive Garden. Had linguini alla marinara (340), half breadstick (70), and salad (70, used lowfat italian dressing), total 480.
S: Strawberries, 50
D: ??

This week, it is very hard to concentrate. I wanna go to WDW now now now!!:yay:

Hi Peeps! Today was my first day back at work after being sick last week. The bright side:goodvibes was my students were so happy to see me they were on their best behavior. (This will likely end tomorrow:rolleyes: ) The down side was my desk was covered with notes, papers, things to grade, end of the year assessments to give...:scared1: ! I stayed after a while to try to get things under control and I brought some papers home to work on as well. I am REALLY counting the days until vacation.

I didn't quote but I will try to see what I remember.

Eeyore-Hello! I hope your day is going well!:)

Eventer-How are the trip plans going?

Dance-I hear you on the kids acting up because summer is near. I'm sure my "honeymoon" will be over tomorrow.

Wonders-I like the picture you had with the long layers. I read in a magazine that strawberry blond is going to be very "in" this summer. I don't know if that is something that would interest you.

HockeyKat-A new car! :thumbsup2 How fun!

Sparkie-I love the ME! It is fast and easy!:thumbsup2

To anyone I may have missed I hope you are all having a nice day!!:wave2:

Me too! All I can think about is what I'm wearing, what I need to pack, etc. Though, my trip is in 11 days. I should be busy until then. The only thing that keeps stressing me out is planning for this new client I have. My first session with her isn't until the 17th but I need to get my materials and plans into my supervisor by the end of the week and I just feel so confused about it.

Thanks. Actually I was a strawberry blonde when I was toddler-ish. With little ringlets. What a cutie I was...what the heck happened? I think I'm gonna do one big change at a time. First up - bangs with the usual blonde highlights. Then, I'll contemplate a color change for the next cut.

Hey there..thanks for asking! There isn't much to do since everything is done. I am just freaking over not being to find a summer job yet and what it will cost us on credit cards if I'm not working for 10 weeks after WDW (Worst case scenerio)

My shameless plug...I just updated my TR to include the DVC purchase!

Food for today....
B-choc. life cereal, skim milk, light OJ
S-granola bar
L-yogurt, water, Oreo 100 cal, thin crisps, grapes
S-Ritz dino crackers, water, apple
D-pulled pork, 1 slice bread, corn on the cob, baked beans, skim milk

I may skip the snack tonight...if I do have something it will be fruit salad.

Watching Oprah on DVR...she has Criss Angel on..he is amazing! I have never seen him before!!!

No one's tickers are showing up lately..can anybody else see them?:confused3

Hey! Thanks for letting us know about the update. I have so many TR and Pre-TR that I'm trying to keep up with that its nice to know who has updated and who hasn't.

I can see my tickers (and everyone else's) just fine. :confused3

I can see the tickers also.:confused3 Eventer, how was the chocolate life cereal? I have been curious about that one and the special K with chocolate. The more chocolate I can put into my day the better!

Yeah, how was it? It has been on my shopping list for a few weeks but I am waiting for a coupon or sale. I am frugal like that. I make shopping a game actually. I usually save anywhere from 40-60% using coupons and sales :goodvibes A penny saved is a penny towards Disney!

Well I am one of the "lurking"/missing. I've been slightly off the wagon for a week. Travel and work demands conspired to pull me off track. The good news is that I managed to maintain last week, so no backtrack! :yay:

I need to go back and read the past few pages, but good traveling to all of the peeps that are away from home this week. Enjoy!!

I've decided that I need more accountability, so I'm going to start posting totals:

B: Cottage Double (140)
L: McD Southwest Salad w/ Grilled Chicken
and a Fruit and Walnut salad (630 ish -- didn't eat most of the walnuts)
S: WW Lemon Cake (80)
S: Chips and Salsa (200)
D: 8 oz Low Sodium V8 (50)
Red Baron personal pizza (410)
S: WW Lemon Cake (80)

Total: 1590 w/in my 1600 - 1700 limit!!

Goals for tomorrow: MORE WATER, more fruit/veggies, more fiber

Good night all! Resist the cookies!

MJ

:woohoo: MJ -

Hi Peeps! :wave2:

S: 100 calorie kettle corn (100)
S: WW key lime ice cream/sherbet bar (60)

TOTAL: 1457 calories & about 135 oz. of water

Also did 46 minutes on the recumbent bike! :thumbsup2

We've been busy over here getting ready for my daughter's graduation. It's hard to believe the school year is almost over! So, does anyone have big plans for Mother's Day??? We usually go out to brunch, but we're staying home this year. My DH offered to take me flower shopping this weekend and then plant all of my spring flowers for me as I sit in the shade with a cool drink in my hand. Hmmmmm.... sounds good to me! :thumbsup2
Cheers!
-Michelle

We're having family over to try out the hot tub. We're getting sandwich stuff from Costco, which shouldn't be too bad calorically (and chocolate tiramisu, which is a different story. DH is going to be doing most of the work. I'm going to be doing most of the soaking.

Good day Peeps!

This has been a very sad weekend. DH & I had the wake on Sat for our friend from church. There were so many people there! He touched so many peoples lives it was unbelievable! The funeral was Sunday at 4. I helped serve the "light dinner" afterwards, which was anything but "light"! :lmao: My main job was preparing 150 hot roastbeef sandwiches while others brought the trays out. Then I helped some with the clean up afterwards. There were so many people helping that it made it easy.

I wasn't sure we would would make it to the funeral, as after the wake I took DH to the hospital as he had been having chest pain since Thurs and didn't tell me until 5 am Sat morning! He wouldn't let me take him then, but decided he really needed to go in the afternoon. After 5 hrs in the ER, they admitted him for observation overnight. The cardiologist he saw on Sun morning doesn't think it is his heart and set him up for a stress test this week. He was released Sun morning. I am very thankful he is ok, but getting this checked out since he was so worried about it. I think more than anything DH needed the reassurance that he has a strong heart since he'll be 50 in a few weeks. :woohoo:

So many things I wanted to comment on. but marked yesterday when I was gonna post and didn't get a chance to. Oh well, if I remember, I'll be back!!!:goodvibes
  My dad had a heart attack on Space Mountain at DL, and didn't tell my mom until we were driving home 2 days later. What is it with men?:confused3

and I'm also trying to phase out the potatoe/rice/bread - not so easy - and I've scaled back pasta to once every other week, and have given up pizza fridays apparently!! Now to try and add fish once a week, or a no meat meal..

Going to head out on my 45 min run! oyveh...
:thumbsup2 on the run! My meatless meal is a medium potato with vegetarian chili beans poured over it. I always lose weight after this meal. I just have to be strong when DH suggests cheese on it.

Glad you're feeling better. sorry you have so much to catch up on (I know how that is). Right there with ya on looking forward to summer break. Our school administrative assistant has the countdown posted on her white board. We have 28 more school days. :woohoo:

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE! :sunny:

I slept in again today. Been waking up in the night and thus catching up in the mornings.

RE: Meatless meals....I have been making whole wheat spaghetti and jar of sauce with a whole bag of frozen "fiesta" style veggies...broccoli, peppers, onions, beans, etc. It rocks! I make a huge batch and then divide it up in little Lean Cuisine size containers and take it to work for lunch. Try it!

Love the menus!
Tara....Ritz dino crackers?
Lynda...Have you given up dessert with breakfast?

Gots to get ready for work. I'll check back when I get there....another boring week at work this week!!!
:rolleyes1

HAVE A GREAT DAY! :flower3:

It's alright...I am not a huge Life cereal fan. I like sugary stuff!! :rotfl: I was never allowed to have sugar cereals growing up so I guess that's why I eat them now!!!

I also am a coupon freak! I love when things are Buy One Get One and I have two coupons!! :thumbsup2 DH hates it when he goes with me and the stupid people behind me in line roll their eyes and make an obvious stint b/c they see all my coupons. He says he is sick of it and is probably going to say something to them next time!! I would love to turn to these people and tell them I am saving $40 with coupons and if they want to pay me the $40 I will finish upi faster. Idiots. :headache:

ANYWAY.....Good morning Peeps!! I had trouble getting on the DisBoards last night too. Grr. Didn't seem like I missed much though! Today is supposed to be near 70...can't beat that!! Have a great day everyone!!! :yay:

What a great idea. I'm going to try that!

Had a very HUNGRY day yesterday.

oatmeal w/ brown sugar(splenda)
1/2 c sliced strawberries
100 cal popcorn
PBJ and an orange
Hamburger-lean ground beef/wheat bun, baked beans and dreaded FF
ham and fat free cheese sand with tortila chips and baked beans
watermelon

All total: 1730 cal
I have been aiming for 1500-1600. Dont know what happened yesterday.

Melinda: I like the spaghetti idea. Do you freeze it in the trays to reheat for lunch later or just plan to eat what's left for the week?

Your "meatless meal" sounds yummy! I should try that, but it won't happen until after I get back from WDW.

I have not given up dessert with breakfast. I just try not to reach for the chocolate unless I REALLY feel like I need it. :rotfl: I really want to see a loss this week and next. We leave for WDW next Thursday (so I'll have to weigh in a day early), and I want to hit my goal and surpass it by a few pounds if possible (like I thought I had already done). And I still have to exchange my stupid scale. I am feeling the time crunch here! Does doing the single-digit dance :yay: :cool1:  :dance3: count as exercise? :confused3
