Trying to catch up from the past couple days.

GET WELL wishes for everyone else who is still under the weather!

I had some tragic news yesterday...A friend from church was out riding his bike and had a massive heart attack and died yesterday. He was in his late 50's and it was unexpected. The people in church are devastated and really rallying around his wife. He was one of these people who just retired a few years ago, was very involved in the missions of the church and he & his wife were planning many things for the future. It really has made me look at my husband's and my life and question the hours we both work. Yes we need money to pay bills, but is the amount of time we aren't spending together worth it? Life is too short.

Thanks for reading this and "listening" to me. I just needed to get that off my chest and tell my friends how I was feeling. Now, go give someone you love and extra big hug and tell them how much they mean to you!

I can so relate to this. The father of a couple of my DD's friends was killed in an accident earlier this week. So sad. Our church and many of their friends have really rallied around the family in support. I went to the funeral service yesterday. There was another service today, but I decided not to go. It was just too close to my Grandma's to put myself through. We will do something special for the family in the next week or so when my daughter is home and things settle down a bit for them.

That stinks...why cant they ever forcast the weather?!
And as for fantasmic, I heard they pretty much do it unless it is dangerously storming...like hurricane storming.

We were watching Fantasmic in early January this year when it started pouring and they shut the show down about 2/3 of the way through it. I can tell you that it was not fun trying to get that many people out of a full stadium in the rain We all had put our ponchos on when it first started sprinkling, so we didn't get soaked like so many people did.

Of course, when we got out of there, it finally stopped raining. But by then, my friends were ready to leave. That was the night that we went off-site to Joe's Crab Shack. Yum!

We're leaving TONIGHT!!!! (to Disneyland) instead of Monday. YAY!

The last time we flew at night, it was a huge, massive disaster with Norah.

See, we are flying Delta employee standby so we were waiting for an "empty" flight (a flight with enough room for all of us). Me and Dallen are flying first class but I wont brag on and on and ON about it....

I'm flying first class!!!!


Sorry, I do have to "dress up" for it, but it's a small trade off. I'll uses my best ex-Nordstrom Cosmetics Lady smoothness. I probably wont jump on the spaceous leather reclining airplane seats or press the little call light repeatedly. I'm not promising anything. And, before you ask, I'll refrain from bringing my own beverage in a massive plastic vessel with flexi-straw.

I'm almost packed. Anything we forget we can pick up at the local Walmart or Tarjay.

What am I forgetting?

Oops!! Another snack..now I can't go to bed until 11:30!! diet snapple and the new 100 cal. Hersheys/Reeses snack packs. They have choc. and cereal in them. YUM!!! Found them at BJs!!!

Hi Peeps! I hope everyone is having a good Saturday! Safe travels to all of our Peeps who are leaving for WDW/DL! I slept most of today. Which is good since I haven't been sleeping well at all this week. I am on the road to recovery. I pretty much feel back to normal except my throat is still sore. Not as bad as it was though. Tomorrow I am going to venture out into the world for the first time since my Dr. appt on Monday. My DH and I are going to go to Tarjay to buy some trip things. I am hoping I will be back on track with the eating thing on Monday. I haven't been eating a lot. What I have been eating hasn't been "point friendly" so I hope I haven't done too much damage. I hope everyone has had an enjoyable weekend so far!!

hi from orlando! we're not at WDW yet...staying at comfort inn universal tonight and then checking into pop tomorrow morning. they have free internet here so i thought i'd check in. we made it here in 7.5 hours! it rained some of the way, but not too bad. and we had dinner at the world's largest mcdonald's that had the world's ickyest food and the world's rudest cashier and the world's noisiest families. DH and i kept looking at each other and saying, "i'm so glad we only have to put up with this for one day!" it was so un-disney! and gross!!!!

anyway, i probably won't check in again til we get home. be good little peeps this week!!!!!

Whew! What a day! My parents left this morning. Jackson had a huge (30+ kids) party at our house today. I have a final project due in my class tonight so as soon as the party ended I cleaned up and have been on the computer ever since. Thought I would take a quick break. Hope all the Peeps at Disney are having a blast.

I did not eat a cupcake today. Did eat a cup of homemade ice cream though.

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!

Hope you all had a splendid Derby Day. We went to a party at some friends house. I did not draw Street Sense in the pool. Somehow it always ends up being one of the kids that gets the prize! And wasn't that jockey great! I hope he got a big bonus! That win pays off for the owners in stud fees as long as that horse is alive.

MOO...Sorry about your friend who passed away this week. So sad.

Whew! What a day! My parents left this morning. Jackson had a huge (30+ kids) party at our house today.

Company, a birthday party with 30 boys and a paper due! Stacey....I don't know how you do it. You are my hero.
