Just had to quickly tell you I'm an Auntie my DSis finally produced about 90 minutes ago to a little boy Oliver, still don't know what he weighs but Sis says he looks big She has been in hospital since Wednesday and they kept starting her and it stopped and finally at 1am this morning (he was born at 6pm) she went into labour naturally but it was still pretty long. Anyway I can't wait to see them both tomorrow even though I've already spoken to him on the phone

WoooHooo! Congrats on being a new Auntie, Jo! Sounds like the baby and your sister are doing well, even after a long labor! I bet you can't wait to see little Oliver!

Does anyone else stick clutter in the master bedroom and CLOSE the door when expecting company???? The clutter of which I speak is a pile of bills/mail/crap and about 4 loads of unfolded laundry (piled HIGH on my bed!) that I should have folded last night but "dint"!

Yep, but becuase of Joshua and the cat all doors are closed-so no one suspects anything--but one time somone did open the door

I was in Franklin, KY the same weekend you were in Nashville. It's right on the KY/TN border...all my family still lives there.

I JUST BOOKED A SEPT. TRIP!!! The CM asked if I wanted to make ADRs...SURE! Got them all done except I don't like the Le Cellier time. I'll call back and try to change that tomorrow (is Disney Dining open on Sundays?) and then just sit here and check my user CP every 30 seconds til free dining is announced....which will make or break the trip plans.

okay....quick post to tell you guys that i just put on some shorts that i haven't worn in two summers because they were too snug and now they're loose!!!!!!! whoooooo hooootyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!

i'm off now to help DH in the yard since it's beautiful and 79 degrees here in georgia!!!

We were at the soccer fields until 2ish. DH stayed home to work in the yard. High here is 83 today.

okay.........so i decided a joke to brighten your saturday would be appropriate.

a little boy who had recently been circumsized was sitting in class one day when his recently-altered private area started to become irritated. he went up to the teacher's desk and told her about the problem he was having. she told him to go to the office and call his mother to tell her what was going on.

the little boy returned a few minutes later and sat down at his desk. the teacher noticed that several of the children around the little boy were snickering and causing a commotion. she walked back to the little boy's desk and found that the little boy had unzipped his pants and was exposing himself. she asked him what in the world he was doing and he said, "my mommy told me to stick it out for another hour and she'd come get me."

okay....i hope that was worthy of my DIS veteran status.

I'm cleaning like a crazed weasel becasue I'm having my very first Scentsy Candle open house. I'm burning "Sizzlin' Coconut" and my house smells just delish! Usually I burn "Sugar Cookie" or "Banana Nut Bread" but I'd need TOO much Hoodia to keep from wanting the real thing!

Does anyone else stick clutter in the master bedroom and CLOSE the door when expecting company???? The clutter of which I speak is a pile of bills/mail/crap and about 4 loads of unfolded laundry (piled HIGH on my bed!) that I should have folded last night but "dint"!

Uh, yeah! We usually put clutter in our spare bedroom and there is usually a mountain of laundry at the end of our bed! (Clean, unfolded!) I am hoping that will change soon. My mom lost her job late last year. She has severance & unemployment until June, when her pension & social security kick in, but they are less and not enough for her. Well, DH and I are going to pay her to come to our house twice a week and clean and take care of Jasper and Oliver! It will help us out, be good for Jasper (who will get more exercise those days), and help Mom! So, I am excited about it! I SO can't keep the house in tip top shape on my own, even with Josh's help.

Thanks! I hear they only release a few reservations each day up to the 180 day so I'll call back and try to get something earlier tomorrow. Here's what I got...all are dinner reservations...

Oh Yes UTMA, you caught me... you must've missed my confessional... I was coy tho.. and lately I've not even bothered with throwing it in our room - but then again no one visits us anymore... I do make it my daily cleaning ritual to clean and get rid of any sticky messes, anything that may cause mold, or smell... and try so very hard to keep the coffee table and dining room table clutter free!! I do have a goal... and I appreciated the peeps that came to offer the most important.. It meant a lot... it means a lot... I also tried Fly lady, but since I got so many stinkin emails, I couldnt keep up, and failed that too... there is quite good evidence that messy clutter is a sign of genius... lol...roflol

I think you must be right about the messy clutter = genius! You are NOT alone Sandy! I am always amazed at how quickly the clutter accumulates!

I currently have about 7 loads that I am working thru, and two boxes of papers, cuz my stacks got so high they were falling over, and yes I do shut the door when company comes!!

Spongie-Misty announced to ya "she was spending time today at my house, PM her if you were curious why". I am having a Scentsy Candle open house at my house. Our Jeriber PM'd Misty and found out the time. Jeriber was visiting her sister today in Utah and came to my candle open house! No, Misty did NOT know Jeriber was coming! (Neither one of us could EVER keep a secret!)

Isn't that SWEET?!!

BUT.....

Neither I nor Misty recognized her EVEN after she:
- introduced herself
- flashed her crown style Mother's Ring I copied and have posted on my fridge
- called her dd cutie: ) "Jeriber" several times durring our visit...


From the moment she walked in the door, she looked SO familiar to me!
She kept looking at me expecting one of us to recognize her.

NOPE.

I had only invited my friends and neighbors. I thought maybe I invited a new neighbor I hadn't met yet? Maybe I had cut her hair before? Maybe I new her from church? Her FACE was familiar.

STILL NOTHING...

It comes time for her to order and she said she wanted it to be directly shipped to her home...out of state. She asked me if her addy looked familiar???

NOPE.

Mind you, Jeriber is the person I mail the recipe scrapbooks to!!!!!

FINALLY, I'm thinking she wanted to SMACK me on the head, she said:

"I'm Jeriber!" (you clueless dolt!!!!!)

For a good 20-30 minutes of wondering HOW I Knew her, and ALL her BLATANT hints, The light when ON! And we hugged and squeeled (me) like highschoolers!!!!


We had a wonderful visit after I was clued! See, I am AWFUL at getting the hint!!!!!! If someone says, "Look at that lady over there...." I tackily say, "WHERE!" as I swing my head around .

This first one is not the best of Misty (Sorry Misty!). The next one SUCKS of me so it's fair! Jeriber is cute as can be!!!!!
