Okay - so yesterday I went to see Josh Groban in concert...he was so good, my mom and I had a great time...definately worth the pricey tix, I will be going again...

Day 4 and Buster is still gone. I am very sad, hoping and praying that he is ok and someone will returnhim, but I am afraid that somepne snitched my baby

So in my shopping trip to Target this week I found this cute pair of capris on clearance. The tag said 14 but they seemed roomy so I bought them. Mind you that I am usually a good 18 these days. So I get them out and try them on today and WOW, they fit and they are super cute. So, since I am keeping them, I rip off the tags. Thats when I saw it.......

They are MATERNITY pants No wonder they fit me Now to be fair, the have a tad bit of elastic on the back section, but I didnt notice that before I bought them. I am too blinded by the $5 price tag to really look them over I guess, so I didnt notice that or the maternity label. Truthfully you cant really tell once they are on that they are maternity. The good news is that they dont have that big belly panel in them, and they have an adjustable waistband inside, so maybe these can be my weight loss pants! I can just keep tightening them until I can buy a real 14!

Or maybe you can just have a baby! I am laughing so hard that I am crying!!!

in your defense, i think target's maternity clothes are cuter than their regular clothes! i'm always picking up maternity clothes on the clearance rack!!!! but i can never buy them because my problem area is my butt and thighs, not my belly. so i'd look really stupid in maternity clothes. i say if they look cute, wear them. who's going to know???

Forgot to mention---PINK EYE went through our family this week. Started with Joshua last Saturday, Katie got in on Wed. and Craig started with it on Frid. so far Andrew and I have not gotten it. We washed hands like crazy, then hand santitized, got new towels everyday--I guess they were going to get it no matter what.

Oh no hope it's all gone now!

oh, when is that happening? that's the first i've heard of it. probably not before may 6th, huh?

Happy UK Mothers day everyone, isn't it strange how we celebrate the same things but on different days The girls bought me a lovely flower arrangement and some chocs and a dozen golf balls (Dh idea) I know I'm playing more now but DH is a pro so I just pinch his and also he was able to get them cheap from his golf shop, great present huh

Hi peeps! I have a question...........why is it that when I get into excercising I end up hurting myself? My knees has been acheing a little the last couple of weeks, but today it is swollen. I almost screamed when I lifted that leg to get into the shower this morning. So now I get to hobble off to church, and all my dress shoes have heels. I'm just frustrated, because I don't want to have to stop excercising. Ok, my little pitty party is over now. I just had to tell someone who might care! My kids listen and then say, so what are you making me for lunch!

So on Thursday of last week, my supervisor was no where to be found for our weekly meeting. I decided to DIS in the computer lab and kill some time when she walks in looking like death warmed over. Well she must have had some sort of stomach virus but just had to come into work that day and spread her germies to everyone! She truly looked like heck.

Then about 30 minutes later, my therapy client, a toddler, arrives and I'm "talking" to him and mom tells me that he has a bit of a cold today. A bit? There was snot all over the place -including on me!

I washed my hands a ton and hoped that nothing stuck, but I woke up this morning with a slight sore throat. Which is my beginning stages of a cold. Great. So I'm hoping I can just take some cold meds, drink a ton of water, and sleep it away in one night. At least it is a cold and not a stomach bug .

HI all and Happy SUnday! WEll I have had a a sluggy week and had a great thing happened yesterday. Negativity has taken up in some dark corners of my mind things like....who am I kidding I am just going to gain it all back, why shop I am just going to get fat again!

WEll I had a boost: here it is, I went to Target and to my delight I had been tried on clothes Xmas week to learn that I was sporting a size 22/24 and said oh no way! Went to 6 stores to learn they were all in on the conspiracy!

To my dleight I can tell you I treid on size 18 pants and they were baggie in spots it was a delight! Tried on a dress it was a 16 and it fit and not to shabby either. Oh and yes I checked it was not Materntiy! Lol I too prefer the maternity clothes much prettier!

SO I left the fitting room with my size 20s and 22 and handed them to the lady and said No I am not taking them, they are just tooo BIG!!! YIPPPEEE!!!

SO I am back! Back on the beam and hoping not to fall.

Harley praying for your dogs safe return! SO sorry!

I have exactly 25 days a wake up tilll our trip and think I could maybe possibly hopefully drop another 10 and I would be over the moon!

Pigget I missed you no one to follow me around this week it was a stressful one! SO glad you had a great time!

Okay several of you have sent prayers Harley's way about Buster and I thought I would let you know he is home safe and sound.I don't know when Harley will be back on because we have a dinner with the inlaws tonight .I will let her share the details.

Okay I am sitting here thinking of the good and bad
The good is I tried on my spring/summer clothes and only two things did not fit.The bad thing is that I am only about 5 lbs from my original goal weight and I still look about four months pregnant. I may have to reevaluate.Alot of people have said only surgery will fix it but I am determined to do everything I can before I give up.My stomach doesn't seem as saggy as before I started working out but still sticky outy. Okay enough whining I have to get my family prettied up for an evening with the outlaws.See ya'll later....
