SHHH don't tell but its only 3 days and a wake up! WE are telling DS we are going to pickup a work truck for Daddy and on his official Birthday the day before at dinner DS will be served fortune cookies that I have clued him as to what his future will hold! YIPPEEE the next am we will be clelbrating his birthday disney style O'Hana's and then Coral Reef his fav for dinner! I am certain I will end the night at Vision Quest LOL!!!

That's so exciting! Very creative way to clue your little guy "in"! Hey, where's your pretrip report??????????

i've been sitting here reading all your chatter about the possible peep meets and sulking b/c i'm 99 percent sure i can't go.

we're going in may. at this point i don't think i can financially justify 2 trips to WDW in the same year. i know many of you go multiple times in a year, but i just can't afford that. i REALLY WISH i could, but i have to be the typical responsible me and use that money to actually pay my bills! me no likie bills.

on top of that, my best friend (whom some of you have heard me refer to as "wonderwoman") is getting married in savannah in october. that will be considered an out-of-town wedding for us (savannah is 4 hours away) and therefore will end up costing a good bit. plus i'm sure i will have many responsibilities with bridal showers and bachelorette parties for the few weeks before her wedding, which would conflict with the september peep meet.

so count me out....... but i hope you guys have a BLAST and keep us non-peep-meeters informed!

oh, and if the january peep meet still happens, that could be a possibility for me. but i won't know until closer to that time. who is going to that for sure so i can contact you directly if i end up going? i will know probably by the summer if that's something i want to budget for.

OK so September free dininig would go for the 21st till the 25th. LOng weekend I fear. How many of you will be bringing your children and maybe their ages we could do something fun with the kids as well? Just thinking out loud and if all you have your children in tow then I would have to bring mine as I would be too sad then without him.

good! So far we have 9 peeps for September!!! That's a ton!! No kids for me..I would be coming solo!

I am coming from Dallas. It is about an 18 hour drive if I dare to do that- we do a similar length drive about twice a yr and it is possible, and not horrible. If I fly then I will shoot to be there early in the day. No matter what, that is the plan. I hate to waste even one second when we go. Want to get there early enough to enjoy a park. As for dining, we are open. We did alot of the character stuff last time. Killed 2 birds with one stone so to speak...that way we didnt have to wait in line to see any characters and we got to eat at the same time. I also like to choose places I would never pay to eat at because of price.


Thank you for doing the math! There is no way I could have done it. Is rack rate $89 a night? I have no clue. All I know is we have to pay rack rate to get the dining plan. The other thing is, I am not sure if we all have to have the same amount of tickets. In other words, would we all need 6 day tickets or could you guys get shorter lenght ones? Anyone know? I am going to do some research.

I think a regular room would be OK honestly, unless you guys are weird about sharing a bed. I know DD will sleep with me, so you guys would have to be bed buddies I have heard that the suites are not included in the free dining.

Not sure what rack rate is..I went off the $82 a night plus tax=$92. I am sure we will have to re-figure. I don't mind sharing a bed...it's definetly a great deal so you can't pass it up! Wonders has an AP so I think we will have to sneak her into the room. But then she wouldn't get FD unless she bought a 1 day pass?? I guess we can get 4 day passes then right? I am hoping to avoid PH but that will depend on where ADRs are with all the Peeps.

Eventer and wonders-
It appears we all have to buy the same ticket initially. So that means I will have to buy whatever # of days you guys decide on. Or, we all need to buy the same tickets as whoever is staying the shortest # of days if that makes sense. It also said I can add days to my ticket when we get there. I am guessing it wouldnt cost any more do do that then vs. now...and it will save me a few $ that I have to pay up front, giving me more time to earn it!

I think I can add on PH later as well once we figure out where we are meeting. As for food..my favorite place is Ohanas for dinner. I would like to try and get there but if not I don't care! I hope you don't mind if I tag along with you to eat/parks....dong WDW alone would be a little odd for me. What parksattractions are a must do for you? If I get to the hotel by noon on Sat we will have that day, all of Sun/Mon and most of Tues. M.Express would pick me up around 4pm for my return flight.

After all the tallying is done we should make an OFFICIAL PEEP DAY MEET if most of us will be there in sept., we should make ressies at a restuarant for peeps and family and do a tea party for just us peeps? any thoughts or comments

We should definetly line up a meet or two for tea/dinner!! Maybe the 23rd since Wonders would leave that night?

I am doing Weight Watchers and I got a cookbook around Christmas time. It is called Weight Watchers New Complete Cookbook. I can tell you some of the recipes it has if you want. I got it at Target. It was around $20 I think. Your mom is doing great!

Yes, that's the one! It is sitting right here next to me. I like it a lot. I am counting points but it also has Core Plan recipies. I think your mom would really enjoy it.
