Ok, DH and I have this tradition (actually it was his family tradition, and I adopted it ), we open our gifts on Christmas Eve. Santa doesn't bring mom and dad anything, BTW. Well, I just got a marvelous memory card for my new camera that Canon sent me (since they couldn't fix my broken one), and lovely penguin PJ's (which I am wearing as I type, hope that isn't TMI ), and my Disney World ticket! It has been a lovely Christmas. As you can see from my ticker, I'll be there in a little over two weeks!

just a couple of christmas TV reminders for you all:

1. TBS is currently showing the 24-hour marathon of "a christmas story" (at least in the atlanta area - not even sure if TBS is a channel elsewhere!). DH and i ALWAYS watch this! not every single time they show it....but we flip channels and end up catching the entire movie a few times over after it's all said and done. i love this movie!

2. at 10:00 a.m. EST tomorrow morning they're showing the disney christmas parade on ABC.

i'm following santa on norad and right now he's in baffin island, canada....he's getting close! send those kiddies to bed! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

i want to thank all of you for what you've done for me over the past year. i'm truly grateful to have had your support, advice and friendship. you are some very special people! i hope you all are having a very blessed, safe and magical holiday!

i weighed myself this morning and let's just say i didn't make my christmas goal. but i'm not beating myself up too much......i expected that. it's motivation for me to lose these last few pounds before the end of january.....that's my new goal!

Can we officially start over Jan. 1? They had a snack loaded table today and I didn't wear my magic Peep bracelet!!!! I DID choose to use a small bread plate for my dinner...like it mattered after all the calories from the snack table grazing!

Hi peeps. Hope everyone had a wonderful day. Ours was a lot of wrapping paper flying around. DS8 and DS6 got a DS from my mom and let was pretty much in their hand all day. DD got a "baby" from Santa and she loved it. I on the other hand was not a good peep, ate very bad things, very bad. A new day today.

Wow, it's over. I blinked and Christmas is over.

I just have this day off and it's back to normal.

I did finish my floor over the weekend. I tiled my hallway/foyer. It's done!
I am so relaxed now. We just have to paint and put in the moldings.

I already primed the closet today. I have loads of laundry to do from neglect.

The kids as usual made out like bandits.

They are going out to the sad little snow pile that's left to try out their snow ball launchers they got.

We told them about the upcoming disney trip and it was woohooing and yehawing. It was great! I can't wait to plan with them this time.

Malorie got a leapster and she's all about playing it. She got the Enchanted Princess Counting game. She just loves it.

She also got the Bella Bella Bella, Bella Cinderella Dance Mat. She loves that too. I have that jingle in my head now.

Maddy got a BeBe chair. It's so cute and helpful. She can sit and play with other things put in her reach and my hands are freed up.

Ok, I have a monster pile of laundry to do. I found my whips and chains.

Hi peeps. I haven't posted much lately but I've been around. I don't know if it's because it's my 1 year cancer anniversary or what, but I've been scheduled for a boatload of tests/dr appts. Add on that I'm finally able to return to the dentist (couldn't do it through chemo/radiation) and now I've got a boatload of dental appts too. In between I have to work for a living.

18 days until I'm in at WDW again. Woo-hoo.

Since that trip is planned to death and our France trip in Sep 08 is planned to death, I'm now starting on the Jan 09 trip with the kids and grandson. I think we may do a land/sea trip for them, adding the sea as a next year's Christmas present/surprise. DH must be in the holiday spirit because he agreed to pay for the cruise for 12 people--he usually gives me grief about spoiling our adult kids.

I'm hoping we go because then I'll get super motivated to lose the rest of my weight and get in shape so that I could maybe wear a bathing suit again. The last time I wore one, the style was still those striped babies that went down to the knees I have been so bad for the last 3 weeks that I need to do something to jumpstart my motivation. I've gained back 3 of the 26 lost and I don't want to have that number slide any more. I'm counting on you guys to help out.
