My princesses both love to smile!

They are both adorable!! :cutie: What cute "Princesses" you have!!!

Lynda: I'm so an 80's girl. I don't walk around looking like one, but I did back in the day. Love all the music from then. I love 80's trivia. I can't let it go.

Just for one day I'd like to have my spiral long permed hair, pulled back in a banana clip. My tight Jordash jeans, accessorized with leg warmers. My neon v-neck sweater over my dad's white T-shirt. Pinned to my wool coat is a gummie bear. My arms adorned half-way up with neon plastic bracelets. Two swatch watches on each wrist. Oh don't forget my dark black shades and chomping on gum while walking the mall with my 2 best friends thinking we were the BOMB!. I think I was 14 at the time. True story. Ok, I hope that gave you all a nice laugh.

:rotfl: This brought back memories! I wasn't a teenager until the 90's, but I did have the permed hair, banana clip, leg warmers, neon clothing, plastic bracelets, two watches on one wrist. And let's not forget jelly shoes and bracelets too! And an off-the-shoulder shirt with a tank top underneath. Plus, if it was a mesh-like shirt on top, you could look like Madonna! :rotfl:

Ok, here are some pictures of the girls. The pictures of me I do not like one bit. Too embarrassed to show them. Another push I need to set my mind to do this diet already.

It was windy and all the hats I put on her slide over her eyes, so I just used a burp cloth.

Here's a great question: What's on your IPOD? Or what would be on it if you had one?

i share one with ray, so i have no idea what's on ours! i know he did download a few disney movies for me (it's a video ipod) and some harry potter books that we listened to on the way to florida last weekend. and i know he was sweet enough to download all of tori amos's albums (my absolute favorite) even though he hates her. i won't tell you what he calls her. it's very perverted.

I totally know what Ray calls Tori, because Greg calls her the same thing...:sad2: boys!! lol
HYPERCOLOR shirts! hahahhah I haven't thought about those in a long time...I used to have one and I also rocked Cross Colors T shirts, jelly bracelets and charm necklaces galore!

Well DH got a job offer in the company. Remember when I ranted about the recontructuring going on? Well, he had new bosses come down to his hub yesterday and one of them said we want you with us. What would it take to get you to come over. They are part of the company they bought out.

This would require a move. Bay City. It's 2 hours north of us. Lots to think about. Lots. So much going on. My head hurts. He's stressing big time.

I've watched homes sit empty here on my street for sale for 2-3 years. The housing market is just terrible here in Michigan. New contruction homes are for sale all over the place. No one can get a fair price for homes. My BIL is a realestate agent and he says he's watched so many people take unbelievable losses on sales.

I don't know if there will be any other offers for him. This would be a good thing if the move is worth while. I know we need to find out if there is a relocation package. He wants to make enough so I don't have to work and I can concentrate on finishing school.

My kids leaving their friends:eek: ..........new doctors:eek: .........my family 2 hours away:scared1: ......my business:eek: .............selling the house:eek: ..........the loan we just took out:scared1: :scared1: ..........the actuall move:confused: ............:faint:

Please pray that we make the right choices and things work out for us.
Will be thinking of you guys.

OMG! I almost mentioned those in my last post! Hypercolor shirts! Then I couldn't remember if they were 80's or 90's, but I sure did have one! People used to come up to you and put a handprint on ya when ya wore those. :rotfl: And those plastic things that you could feed your shirt through instead of tying it in a knot. And this may be late 80's/early 90's, but does anyone remember the Koosh? That ball made of rubber bands?

Monica, my thoughts are with you. Moving is a big change, and I hope that things work out for you no matter which decision you make!

I love Tori!! One of my faves. My husband would like share Ray's opinions. LOL!

I don't have an ipod either. My phone does play mp3s, though, so I am sort of a cool kid. Okay, maybe not.

Hypercolor t-shirts!! :yay:

My diet is shot for tomorrow, we are going out to celebrate Mr Kat's bday and he chose Maggiano's, family style. Mmmm.

tori is my all-time favorite. boys for pele is my favorite CD of hers. i'm going to see her at the fox theater in atlanta on november 14th (i think that's the date). SUCH a great venue to see her in!

i love maggiano's.......we haven't been there in forever! have lots of yummy italian food for us!

I am jealous! Maggiano's is sooo good. We've gone there with my wife's cousin and husband on a couple occasions, and I've pretty much eaten myself into a food coma by the end of the night. I never knew I could be in so much pain from eating so much.

Hey Dawn! I just had to tell you that I'm sitting here listening to a duets CD that BB King put out two years ago, and he did a song with John Mayer! I completely forgot about that when you suggested I check him out; but during the song "Hummingbird" I was thinking "this dude's got a pretty smooth voice", and I looked to see who it was and it was John Mayer. Reminded me a little bit of John Popper from Blues Traveler. And his guitar work was awfully good, as well. I was impressed!

Aww, my friend just called and can't get a sitter, so Maggiano's may be off. Oh well, better for the diet!

WI, your siggie now has me singing...

I saw indigo girls at fox theater when they did the production with the atlanta ballet. that was super cool!
and tori will be here a couple of days before or after the atlanta concert - but I'm still broke from disney, so I don't think I'll go.

Yep, I remember these---what about BO LO TIES---I know I spelled it wrong.

I'm hungry again!! I've only read the last page here - I'll go get caught up - - but I really wanted to send  Monica - that is so hard - but you'll still be in Michigan - I send prayers that the relocation program is just what you need, and may you feel the strength of His peace as you go forward!!

Aaron I've so been singing that song - its becoming my mantra - there has to be a bright beautiful tomorrow... I'm counting on it, it wasnt today...

Kat I thought Maggiano's was a Chicago thing!

I would tell you what's on my ipod, but then y'all would know what a nerd I am!! Wait, I have Off Kilter (love the song "run run runaway" Jimmy Buffet, some Dead (I'm telling you the Greatful Dead has great bluegrass stuff!! know that cute puppy commercial by off - aint gonna get no bugs on me? Dead) Judds have some powerful inspiring music to run to... Rockin to the Rhythm of the Rain... Aretha Franklin - RESPECT...

I am needing to download some more - I dont have enough in one track to keep me going - there is a sticky on the running competiton board... I have a list of things I "want"...

So that was why I was singing it this morning while getting ready  I finished getting dressed right after I checked on the peeps this morning so I must have read your siggie subconsciously. :rotfl2: Freaky...

Still no word on my class situation. I will email her tonight and hope to get a response tomorrow. I've semi-settled with the idea that I may have to take a class over the summer and postpone graduating. Still stinks though and I'm really really hoping i don't have to do that.

Remember that awesome (low) number I saw this morning on the scale? Well right after I posted I weighed myself 3 more times just for good measure. Couldn't get the number back. Heck I couldn't even get close. And one of the numbers had me gaining for the week! :confused3 I wonder what tomorrow will bring.

my little brother is going to that nashville tori show. it's weird that he's going to the same shows that i am because he's 10 years younger than me! we used to be sooooo different and now we have stuff in common. it's strange but cool at the same time! :goodvibes maybe you'll win the lottery before the tori show so you can go!

Kat I thought Maggiano's was a Chicago thing!

nope....they have them in georgia AND in tennessee! learn something new every day.

I'm behind yet again, but posting to say hi! Puppies have been keeping me busy. Sukie got out of the fence this morning, but fortunately I saw that she had and was able to get her back in. Hubby mended a couple spots after work tonight.

Mony, saw your DD's photos . . . beautiful!

Sorry to hear about your hubby's job situation  Sending prayers your way.

:thumbsup2 I have eaten at the Maggiano's in Chicago and Schaumberg. YUMMO!

I love it when Off Kilter sings Run Run Away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance3:

I'm going back to read a few pages since CSI is a repeat tonight :headache: At least Scrubs is back.

Love your new siggie, Aaron!

Madelyn is so much fun. She loves playing with her tongue. She went for her 2 month check-up today and got 4 shots! Poor thing. I was balling. I hate that my baby is screaming and I have to just watch and wait until I can pick her up. She gained 3 pounds. She crashed from the shots now.

Thanks for the compliments. (I think they are cute too!:rolleyes1 ):goodvibes

I appreciate the thoughts and prayers.

Tomorrow he's speaking to his boss to see if there are any other options for him. I know he applied for a position that requires more travel. I am so not wanting that. He went on 16+ trips last year.

About the pics, I don't even recongnize myself sometimes. I don't like what I see. I prefer not to even look sometimes.

Why are Aaron's song lyrics unfamiliar to me? Not the slightest clue.
