the itching has calmed down a bit. Tim teased about a zipper before the surgery and I just shot him a look. I will change the siggy, but not with this computer. Have a great morning, baby is finally getting hungry.

Yippee! I'm back online (at home)! DH got home from work yesterday and turned on computer and all of sudden he had a link. He thinks it has something to do with the cable company & doing Monday morning upgrades of some sort (I am not a computer geek) from the weekend. So it's like starting all over again.

Tammy~ Our desktop and laptop crashed in the same week. The laptop was easy to fix but the desktop was another story. We tried doing what the IT person said and wiped it then re-installed everything, no go. Second set of disks sent out, tried again, still no go. Finally they asked us to send the computer to them. We were a bit unhappy about it but it was the only way we might be able to get our computer fixed. Mind you, this system was only 8 mos old and still under warrantee, we had never had a problem with our computers before so to have this type of a headache with a newer system was frustrating. When we got our system back, it would not start up; at all! We at least had the blue screen before. Finally DH told them after 3 weeks and I don't know how many hours on the phone trying to get this fixed; that they were going to send a repair tech out to look at it. They guy shows up, declares our hard drive fried and says we need a new one. Well, that's what they had it at the repair facility for. Tech gets on teh phone, verifies this, states our system in unrepairable and gets them to authorize a whole new system!!!!!! This in not just any system either, it has 4 different card slots for my camera cards, 4 SUB ports, all the fun colored a/v inputs, a CD/DVD burner with lightscribe, and if we set it up, we can actually watch TV on our computer. Dh was almost drooling when we got it.

Good luck getting everything sorted out. I've BTDT with all the computer stuff so I know it can really drive you crazy.

What a sweet set-up you received. How nice for all the trouble you went through! My DH would be drooling too, he's a total electronics freak! Thanks for you well wishes!

Did you get ATT U-Verse, by any chance? We switched in June, and it's great, except my laptop doesn't get internet through their modem. I had to hook up a second modem to theirs, and I access the internet that way. when I complained to their tech support, the guy said, "I hear what you're saying." I stayed on hold for 40 minutes for that? They never have fixed my problem, but it works OK with the second modem, so whatever.

No it's actually through Time-Warner. How weird is that to go through a second modem? But hey, at least your up and running. I never realized how lost I felt without my access, I'm not officially a computer addict, I can't live without it.

There's no way I can catch up with all the happenings at this point so I just want to say Congrats to everyone who had weight losses, congrats on the new baby, and congrats to those who get to go to Disney!! Yee Hah!

Good morning everyone..its so beautiful out today..mid 60's low 70s, dry ( so far!)..feels almost fall-like..which i LOVE, my favorite season after all!

Anyone watch the season finale' of H. Kitchen last night. I was very happy with the results

Also the results show of SYTYCD was on as well..i pretty much figured those 2 would go...i did NOT like that freaky dance they did in the beginning though, i hate thriller like stuff like that..gives me the heebie jeebies ..yup, i am a wuss.
