Winkers :grouphug: Just take that UTURN - posting was the first step - I'll throw the rope out and if you grab on, I'll reel you in!!

Just hold on tight....

Now, you must commit to YOU - can you walk 30 min a day???? Join me!! even if you break it up into 2 15 min or 3 10 min - WALK every day, 30 min!!

Then - I'm not alone right?!! WHO else is going to do 100 crunches today! I hate doing this by myself!!

Thanks Dance for walking 2 miles with me - I ran the last 1.5 miles alone so I wouldnt freak her out completely with the heavy breathing!! :rotfl2:

Not only do they have free internet here at the hospital, but Tim brought the laptop!

So here she is everyone!

The pics the photo people took today turned out way better. Makes her look very blonde. We'll post more when we get home.

Congratulations!!

:welcome: to the new little princess:

She is absolutely beautiful! I'm so glad to hear that your c-section went well and she is healthy!

***Shoot -- I need me a baby fix. Now I am going to have to find someone with a baby who will let me borrow for a few hours.***

Hi, remember me??;) I haven't been feeling very peepish lately so it's been awhile since I've posted. I've had tons of stress from family things that are way beyond my control but I still try to fix them and make everyone happy, and then I feed myself chocolate to feel better.
Winkers! Glad to see you. Of course you need chocolate. Just like in Harry Potter, where it's the cure for the dementor's kiss! Just make a plan to fit it in.

Oh, she is so PRECIOUS! Thank you for sharing your princess: with us.

Dance-You have a great reason for your fat pants. Don't be sad.

OK, I walked to the post office yesterday, as well as 30 minutes on the exercise bike so I could read some of the Us! magazine I swiped from the dentist's office.:ssst: I had to finish reading about Britney's topless swim w/some kid from Cal State Long Beach. We are looking at colleges this summer, you know, so it was educational.
I happened to notice that FitTV has Gilad's exercise shows on, so I set up the DVR for 2 of them. I used to work out with him when DD was a baby, and I was in the best shape of my life. I told DH it made me sad to think of how things could be if I had stuck with that program and weight, but who knows where that would have got me. I might have ended up running off with Brad, and then he would have left me for Angelina, and where would I be now? So no sense in regretting the past; just seize the day and make everyday the best from now on. I tend to get the blues when summer is coming to an end, but I'm hoping that exercise will lift my mood.
So everyone, just keep slimmin'!

Sandy I am IN! I was going to go at lunch but got held up... However, DH is working until 9 tonight so I am headed to the gym after work. I am planning on doing 30-45 min on the "arc" trainer and weights.

No crunches today because I did my 100 yesterday... I have read that you are supposed to treat crunches like weight work and only do them every other day to give the muscle a chance to rest.

Mony she is beautiful!

UM so glad you are going to make it in Sept!

winkers welcome back!! Extending rope....

Monica!!

How did I miss that post??? I'm going blind now!!

Precious
Thanks for sharing!! Good job Dad on bringing the laptop to mom!! Hope you are getting some rest in Monica, you have had major surgery there!! Remember in the "olden' days you'd be in the hospital a week - DO NOT OVERDO!! (yep, that's an order!!) :goodvibes

FIT TV?? I'm going to have to look - I saw that there is some videos on myspace too that could be motivating!!!

and I so hope I can be one pant size slimmer in 36 days!! I'm close - I'm going to go do some crunches!!

Hang on PEEPS!!
:dance3:

Anyone watch the season finale' of H. Kitchen last night. I was very happy with the results :)

We watched! We were happy with the results too.

Noni and Mony I'm seriously thinking about a road trip to Angola IN next week!!!

ROADTRIP!!!!!!! Tell me when and where, I'll be there!

We're thinking about heading over to Kings Island either next week or for Labor Day weekend. Any Peeps that want to join us are welcome!

We just got back from a day at the fair. I did a lot of walking, my feet even hurt. I got a Dole whip too!! It's not the same as having one in WDW but I could close my eyes and pretend. The only fried food I has was the deep fried chocolate covered strawberries DH bought.

We've got dinner plans so I've got to run!

Kat I've heard different things concerning the crunches - I definately agree with the science behind the strength training and giving the muscles a day to rest...

Let me go look up the 6week Body Makeover - Micahel Thurmond's program (he did the ABC extreme makeovers) I think part of it is doing a variety of crunches - like doing a "superman" doing the "Plank" those are all ab workouts... and there are a few different crunches too...

Thanks for joining me - I hate doing this alone, just knowing someone is "out there" doing work its helping my mind set!!

It was nice chatting with you too :goodvibes Kept my mind of being trapped in my house all day long. Maybe next time I will get on my treadmill and walk too ;)

You can pretty much always guarantee that Dene' and I are out there somewhere exercising, at least once a day M-F for me and likely more than that for her!

I just called DVC member services and burned through all my 2008 DVC points... 5 nights in an AKV studio in Jan and 5 nights in a BW-view 1-bed in May (our anniversary). Woot!!

I'm not sure where my head was when I posted last. The baby.......Monica she is so adorable!!! I love her round little face and the kissable cheekies. I don't think I'd ever put her down.

Monica~

Madelyn is absolutely beautiful! Oh she is sooo sweet, I can smell that sweet baby smell from here! Give her about 1,000 kisses from me! I want to hold her! Can I hold her first, PLEASE?

I have already burned through all but 16 of my 2007 pts (UY is Dec) Now I am trying to figure out if DH and I can get to WDW 12/31-1/6 this year. It would only cost about $1000 b/c of AP's, but airfare is high that week. I told DH the solution is simple...we need to buy more pts!!! He did say in a year we could for sure..I hope he is right!!!

Happy Tuesday!!

I ran my first 5k today, finished in 30:40. :cheer2: Not exactly an earth shaking time, but I'm happy with it. Heck I can't believe I can even run if I look at where I was a year ago.

Now it's time to find a soft place to collapse.

:cheer2: WOOHOOTY indeed!! :cheer2:

:woohoo: WTG what a great accomplishment!!! (Several pages ago I posted my pic from my first ever 5K - my time was more like 45min!!! :rotfl2: )

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

See, you too can join us, just walk 30 min a day!!

LEASE ...AWESOME ON THE RUN!!! I remember running! It was that thing I did for a couple of months last summer! Actually it was more like really fast walking with some good sprints thrown in. But I remember how empowering even that was. GREAT JOB! I did 3 seperate 10 minute turns on the elliptical machine today (spaced out by HOURS:rolleyes1 ) I average about 7 minutes a mile, then I need a break!! I would LOVE to be able to run 5 at 1 time. This website and yall people are the best :worship: Every day someone on here motivates me. 1550 low carb calories today. (It would have been lower, but I couldn't resist the meatloaf I made for dinner:sad2: ) Hope everyone has skinny dreams! I know the new mommy will, she had a great weight loss!!

May 18-23rd, our anniversary is May 21. You? If you are there at the same time, maybe we can meet for a drink.

monica - CONGRATS!!!! what a sweetie.

Been missing you... what's up? Hopefully all is good.

Hehe, I only had 13 2007 pts, and now we have 38 2008 pts left and that is all! We figure that we can borrow until DH has to quit work and do nursing school full-time, because that 18 mos is likely to not include a WDW trip (finances and timing both).

We don't have to worry about airfare, just the dining plan, which will be bad enough becaue DH wants to do the eat-until-you-die plan. :scared:

Awesome!!! I wish I could run.

I started out just able to do 10 min on the elliptical about 2 times a week... after 7-8 months I can do 3.5 miles in 45 minutes and could actually keep going if I had the time. It will come, don't worry! And great job on keeping the calories low!

I am trying to recover from my horrible eating weekend... trying to stay at 1000 cals for a few days in the hopes that that mean ugly gain I saw when I tiptoed on the scale Mon AM will go away by Friday.
