Were these questions for me?

Yup, just kidding about Will or Jack. Just want to get to know you better. Tell us a little about yourself. Back on page 90-something we started biographies. We found out we had a lot of things in common. :dance3:

Maybe we should update those? SO many new people since then. So many left too. :guilty:

Have y'all tried Wonder Bras? They hOist and look GOOD with t-shirts. I love em. NOT that I need any help ;) in that area.

Ok, twooooo more days till weigh day! We can do it! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Course the stomach flu for 2 days means I've achieved my Thanksgiving goal (almost) that is If I can maintain this GIFT from the stomach flu gods

My jeans fit loose which rocks! Now I need a smaller belt because I refuse to buy new ones till I absolutely need them.

Gap used to have these jeans that looked goodish on me. They were "reverse fit" jeans. Small waist and bigger in the seat. I swear, they made my hips looks smaller. But no longer. COOL jeans require fancy wax-jobs and regular maintenence :rolleyes1 which I dontthinkso :scared:

Funny the topic of bras should come up. I have a favorite bra that definitely accentuates my curves. DH had a big union meeting where he had to speak yesterday, and he was super-stressed. I showed up at the meeting (it's my union too) and whispered in his ear, "I'm wearing my big :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc bra, so no matter what anyone says, you can just look over here and smile." And a few times during the meeting, he did just that. Gotta keep 'em happy, right?
As for the jeans, my new ones that I love are called Perfectly Slimming, by Levi's. They not only nip in at the waist, they have a little stretch in them to pull everything together. Miracle jeans!

It is getting so close for me to be leaving, I can't believe it! :scared1: I am just about totally packed, but definitely can not bring my pillow! :sad1: It just doesn't fit! The gals and I are getting together tomorrow night for the last meet before the trip! I'll update my pre-TR after that.
I'm excited for you. :woohoo: Hope you encounter magical pillows on the trip.

Hope everyone has a skinny day before weigh-in. I'm off to drink some water before I hit the hay.

I am 30ish, account rep for an insurance company and live in Oklahoma. I do like pina coladas, flowers are nice but raindrops are better. Love all things Disney and fun. I think I am starting to spend too much time reading about the happiest place on earth.

THAT's-what-I'm-talking-about! Don't you just LOVE to whisper stuff like that? (Well, ok, I haven't actually in years, but I can recollect. :rolleyes1... )

Nice to meet you! So glad you're here!

What a day. I hate stupid people. Does any one else here hate stupid people?

Stupid people I hate:

1. my boss
2. rude drivers
3. idiot sales clerks

ok, rant over. thanks for letting me vent.

I love vents! And I hate stupid people!

I have a story about a stupid person I saw on the news. It's actually sad since yet another one of our deputies was shot and killed in the line of duty. Luckily they found the moron who did it. He is stupid. Anyway, the prisoner was being driven to his trial in a marked police van by a deputy. At some point there was a struggle, the van pulled into a parking lot, the prisoner threw the deputy out of the van, stole his gun and shot him before speeding off.

Well a "witness" says she saw the van driving at a high rate of speed (no sirens or lights), turning the corner while half driving on the sidewalk, with the back doors of the van wide open.

And she didn't think anything of it.

Even the reporter made a comment about it is people like that who make police officers' jobs so much more difficult. Stupid people. Ugh.

Oooh I have another one! Drivers who think it is ok to honk their horn at you like a maniac when you are waiting at a red light to turn right. Why aren't I turning you ask? Because there are cars turning into the lanes I need to be in. Isn't she seeing this? She is right behind me. Then once we both turn, having her flipping me off and speeding away.

The best part? Me watching her get cut off by another car and almost getting in an accident that would have been her fault. Oh and ending up right behind her at the next light. All that speeding and swerving really worked well:sad2:

Yay! :cool1: I've been waiting forrrrevvvvvvver for an update.

According to my husband, the only thing happening this weekend is rifle season for deer. :rotfl2:
Believe it or not this reminds me of a conversation that I had with my DDs yesterday afternoon.

THey were commenting on the fact that you need gum to get through the day at school. THis always amazes me as we were not allowed to chew gum at school. So I mentioned that if we were caught chewing gum at school, we would get detention.

They told me that was a ridiculous rule. They wanted to know why we couldn't chew gum, but were allowed to bring guns and knives to school and had a smoking lounge. It is amazing to think about this, but I grew up in a very rural area and most of the teachers and guys in HS hunted. They would hunt before and/or after school so would bring their rifles and hunting knives and keep them in their locker or in gun racks in their trucks. Never had any problems and never gave it a second thought. It was just a way of life I guess. The smoking lounge was a solution to foggy bathrooms where the smokers would go to sneak a cigarette. If you had a note from your parents you could smoke in the smoking lounge (really an outdoor patio off of our cafeteria). Also the drinking age was 18, so on our senior trip to Quebec, the chaperones were absolutely fine with us ordering wine or beer with our meals and having a huge mega party at the hotel with alcohol. THe chaperones weren't allowed to drink, but the kids were!

Can you imagine any of this happening today? But we we not allowed to chew gum!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I graduated in 1980.

Good Morning Peeps :goodvibes ....I want to say a great big THANK YOU for all the wonderful birthday wishes on Tuesday...you guys are the BEST !

I am off to my sons Kindergarten class as I volunteer to help with reading a couple of times a week :teacher: .

Question of the day.....What are you making for dinner ???? :confused3 I am sick of cooking the same things over and over...I need a little inspiration.

Have a skinny day
Kim

I'm thinking cassoulet in the crockpot so I can concentrate on NaNoWriMo. My word count is behind (and so is my excercising!) so I figure the less time I spend on cooking the more time I have to avoid writing or the gym. Don't you just love that logic?:rotfl:

another fly by -

still dizzish - still hate that.

Doctor is changing up meds (the one puts me to sleep!) I definately have a few loose rocks in my right ear causing the problem... :rolleyes1 (yep, and dd thinks its hilarious... I just want to go back to normal)

He took my blood - I may have hyperkalemia, or too much potassium - he wants to draw more blood. TOmorrow -- I'm going to reschedule. I read online (so you know its true) that too much tahe worsst thing that can happen is kidney failure... :scared1: some of the causes - red wine... :rolleyes1 and too much TEA :faint: as well as too much floride... (too much water)

great - so now I need bottled water and to give up my morning tea - and yes, its been excessive ( a whole pot a day, sometimes twice a day!) ok, not so much the red wine these last few days (too dizzy to drink) I'm now thinking of drinking beer!! Lots and lots of beer!! (j/k unless I get off the meds that is!! :rolleyes1 *g)

everyone, take care!

BTW what happened to Veteran's Day as a Federal Holiday? Seriously, I worked for a Park District, you only get 6 days off a year... and Veteran's Day was included, because it was a "federal holiday"

Our school isnt closed... (OK so Veteran's Day is on a Sunday, but Union Rules you get it on the Friday or Monday) or so it used to be...

I hate stupid people. Like the ones that stop at the end of on-ramps to the expressway, for example. Or the endless Office Space environments in which I seem to find myself.

Nice to "meet" you! I am also 30ish, a software engineer for a bank (yes, I know, boring). And we are all WDW addicts here, so you are in good company.

punkin, sorry about all your wedding-reception woes... hope it works out!

So, I caved last night... went to Wally-World to restock on good-for-me foods, and... I finally bought Alli. I am going to start it tomorrow night. I have roughly 30-35 more lbs to go, and I am hoping that this will jumpstart my unmotivated sorry butt into motion.
