I had one of mine yanked when I was pregnant - so I just got a local anisthetic that did not work well. Not pleasant!

That is EXACTLY what happened to me. Tylenol 3 just doesn't do the job!

Wonders - I wasn’t all the way under when I had my wisdom teeth extracted – just the IV. And it was fine! Didn’t feel any pain, just could kind of tell where they were in my mouth, KWIM? The only bad part for me would have been hearing what they were doing, but that was handled by headphones and music. Good luck!

Stacey – sounds like your hip pain is on the mend, slowly but surely? I’m so glad!

dene – You re not alone in your aloneness! If it helps any, I’ve been sad all week about no longer having a partner in life. NOT that I ever want the old partner back, mind you – good riddance! But I haven’t even had a date in 3 years and it’s beginning to hit my self-confidence a bit. So I’m taking drastic action today….. with a hair appointment! Nothing like a new ‘do to kick up the self-confidence, eh?!

I just know I missed out on lots of other things, so HUGS to all who need it and CHEERS to all who deserve it (and that’s ALL of our Peeps!)

ACCOUNTABILITY: I’m sick. Again. But I did manage 20 sit-ups last night, until I started coughing too much to continue. Maybe I’ll lose a few pounds just from the extra calories burned through coughing?

Thanks PrincessV, my dentist called to confirm tomorrow and I asked about how sedated I would actually be. She told me that its like "twilight anesthesia" and then when that kicks in, they load me up with novicaine, etc and that I will not feel anything and or remember anything afterwards. Here's the problem though. I am so freakin' stubborn that I do not believe it . I'm still envisioning myself in the chair totally coherent and awake with an IV and a shot of novicaine and then they slice me up. I know it's crazy and I'm thinking way too much about it but this is a HUGE deal for me. Is it possible that I might just fall asleep during it? I'm hoping they'll let me listen to my Ipod or at least have some headphones for me to use. I hate the sounds too.

VERY possible you'll nod off - I did. I don't think you're crazy at all - I have the same anxiety. Truthfully, I didn't lose any memory and remember the whole procedure (except for maybe the last few minutes when I finally relaxed and dozed off), but honest and truly, NO PAIN! I never had any pain afterward that wasn't easily managed with OTC Advil, either. One more piece of advice: don't get ice cream with chunks! All I wanted immediately after was Ben & Jerry's Choc. Chip Cookie Dough. My roomate was like "But it has CHUNKS?!" I was still wacked out from the IV Valium and didn't care, but it wasn't the easiest thing to eat, I tell ya'!

You'll be fine!

So now I am going to put this stupid computer through the window. I have been trying to send this since 8 pm. Now I will try and make it brief because the anger I am feeling at this computer is enough to heave me off the roof.

Dr results worse than I could want.

Red Cells in Urine and tons of blood. This means cysts and stones not a normal infection. This is the worst because my kidneys do not function well and this can put me on a renal failure spin in a hurry.

I go in tomm. for spiral Ct's and MRI's. Then on to talk w/ surgeon. Not good because they do not know if my right kidney can handle an additional surgery.

To top my life...Tupperware has a 6 month goal I am working on and this is the last 2 weeks of the 6th month. No 2nd chances and I am sick to my stomach for my team.

I honestly feel so much hatred towards my body right now. I am sick of being sick. I have lost 7 pounds in 1 week and that is not good because my body is shutting down.

I am sorry for venting. I was much more eloquent in the first 3 versions.
I jsut love my Kids and hate leaving them. I have missed out on almost 3 years of their lives since all this started in 1990 and I am tired of missing the smell of their hair and the way they look all groggy when they stumble out of bed. I just want to be normal for a whole year and not have my body screw up our finances, our goals and our lives.

Please pray for my family...and me.

Hey, that's like a heat wave for Feb.! I grew up in Town of Tonawanda nad, later Williamsville, then moved to the Allentwon district in the city as a young adult. Funny - I work with a lady from W. Seneca! We always say Buffalonions are like magnets - we always find each other!

Hey all, Happy Thursday! Firstly sorry I also am aobout to toss puter out the iwndow, onmly problem it won't take any weight off my scale! Oh bother!

Princess No wonder you look so incredibly happy with that sweet boy in your hands!!! No putzer to go with it!!! Sorry if I sound man bashing I am not just not enough Good ones in the world, my Dad rocks!! If only everyman had 1/10th the qualities of my Dad!!! He still refers to my Mom as his bride and Valentines Day, he gets a woo hotty from me, gives the ole gal jewlery, candy, perfume nightgowns, flowers and takes ehr out to dinner! Heck I was impressed DH remebered this year out the the 12 years includeing this one he has rembered 2X! Here, get this my Dad sent my DS a check for 25 to buy me something from DS ok need I say more, he still is THE BEST!!! I just love my Dad! Makes every otehr man look foolish!
