Did y'all hear? Anna Nicole was just found DEAD!!!!! In florida. Wondering about the details. I'm thinking she died of a broken heart and drugs. SO tragic! She was 39 too. Youngish!

I was watching one of those Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight shows last night and Larry who claims to be the baby's father had "secretly" taped a conversation with her - around Christmas time - it was so sad, he says "she was in a good mood"... um , no, she sounded pathetic, either drugged, or severely depressed...

I always felt she surrounded herself with bloodsuckers... and it was too easy for her to get drugs...

I know I can do mcds on the plan, it was just too hard to do it today. LONG day, and I really could not even think about what a smart choice was. And to top it off, the stupid water company just turned off my water BY MISTAKE and they cant seem to tell me when they will be back to turn it on. It was their mistake and I am the one without water. The kicker? This is the seond time they have done this to me So, here I sit stinky and wanting to go take a shower. I have some place to be in about an hour and I may have to go stinky. I had to teach dance this morning, so I feel gross leaving without a shower! Guess a baby wipe ghetto shower it is!

{{{DANCE}}} btdt - we had to go a weekend before they turned on our water - embarrassing!! We showered in cold water, dh heated water on the stove, and I did the "sponge" bath, and poured water over my head and washed my hair in the sink!! I do understand!! NOT fun!!

So not even 5 min after I posted my water was back on. I hopped in the shower and 5 min later, as I was covered with soap, they shut it off again!! Idiots. Called back and was told they would disptach it again. What kind of moron turns it on and then off again, after being told it was not to be turned off in the first place! This time they left a notice on the door...for a bill paid over a wk ago. I love living in a small town.

My thougths on Anna Nicole -I don't knkow what kind of image she wanted to portray, but I always just shook my head at her...she has had a desperate life to me, deperate for attention, money drugs you name it...felt very sorry for her, tragically I am not surprised to hear if her death was drug related...sad but not surprised

HEADS UP 5Kers - I read a post today that the 5K fills up fast, so when we see them open the registration we need to jump onit KAY!!!the 1/2 and full are still open for those who wish for a bigger challenge.

.I'm personally gonna do the 5K and then spend some majiktime with my sweetheart, I have always gottne caught up in the magic of Disney and cant wait to have the special time with not having to worry about losing children in the crowd and such!!!YAY I'm so excited its gonna be a great year!

I got to laughing so hard I was cryin last night when GMA was trying to find her a man and he kept tapping his glass eyeball and had his dentures sittin on the table... and por steph can really go thru the cars..thas half the fun is seeing what kinda screwy thing will happen next... Thanks so much for putting me on these!!!

Diet Totals 758-Pound Loss


I have dieted continuously for the last two decades and lost a total of 758 pounds. By all calculations, I should be hanging from a charm bracelet.
I have done a lot of kidding around with Weight Watchers, but it is the only organization in which I ever lost a great deal of weight. But I fought them.

Every Tuesday morning, a group of us had to "weigh in" before the lecture. Our ritual was enough to boggle the imagination. We got together a check list of precautions before we actually stepped on the scale.

Bathroom? Check. Water pill? Check. Have you removed underwear, wedding rings, nail polish? Check. Set aside shoes and earrings? Check. Are you wearing a summer dress beneath your winter coat? Check.

The first week I stepped on the scale and my instructor said, "You have gained." (Next week, I cut my hair.)
The next week, she said, "You have lost eight ounces, but that is not enough." (I had the fillings in my teeth removed.)
The third week, I had dropped a pound, but my instructor was still not pleased. (I had my tonsils taken out.)
Finally, she really chewed me out. She accused me of not sticking to the diet and not taking it seriously. That hurt.

"I didn't want to tell you," I said, "but I think I am pregnant."

"How far?" she said coldly, clicking her ballpoint pen to make a notation on my card.

"Possibly three days," I said.

She glowered. "Any other excuses?"

"Would you believe I have a cold and my head is swollen?"

"No."

"How about I was celebrating the Buzzard's Return to Hinkley, Ohio, and had butter on my popcorn?"
She tapped her pen impatiently on the card and stared at me silently.
"Lint in the navel?" I offered feebly.
"How about first one at the trough?" she asked dryly.

I learned quickly never to argue with a woman who had the scales on her side.

I saw my old instructor the other day and she eyed me carefully and said, "When are you returning to class?"

"As soon as I have my appendix removed," I said returning her gaze.

I'm not sure, but I think I heard her moan.

The summer before Joshua was born I read all of these. Have not had a lot of time to read. Has the new one come out yet, probably old by now. What kind of guy would i pick--Morelli, but Ranger wow. Just so ... you know!

DH will see my ticker later tonight--he is reading to little man now--so sweet.

Little Man will have surgery at 7:15 in the morning--I am sure all will be fine, but you can't have to many prayers.

Off to go spend time with kids before bed.

My little man has had an ear infection since Thanksgiving. He has been on 5 different anibiotics since Dec. 10th. They are putting in tubes and taking out adnoids. They may even clip his tongue (it doesn't go out all the way and looks like a snake tongue when he tries to poke it out) The Dr. will let us know today.

My eldest DD was tongue tied and had to have it cut, it can be hereditary (sp) my dad & I are both half tongue tied! Her op was very simple and they said if she hadn't had it done (she was about 3 months) it could have affected her speach. Apparently if they notice it at birth they can release the tongue with no need for an op so as soon as little DD was born I was yelling check her tongue. they must have thought I was mad, as it turned out she was fine but it's worth remembering with your next baby!

We have talked about being "tongue-tied" in my speech pathology classes. Most SLPs that I have had class with or talked to think it's a not so good idea in a lot of cases. One of the general rules of thumb is if they can nurse or drink from a bottle without any difficulty, then they will be fine and would be able to compensate for any lost movement and still be able to speak normally. You are talking about that little piece of tissue under the tongue right? Anyway, we were practicing administering the Oral-Motor Exam where you have to stick your tongue out, side to side, etc. and discovered that a girl in our class had a short frenulum (the tissue under the tongue)! And she spoke normal and was able to eat fine. Good luck with the surgeries and let us know how your DS is doing! Oh, and here is more of my magic medicine - .
