I know I post about this a lot - but those that achieve their weight loss goals all seem to be strict about writing everything down. I know the WW also has a journal you can purchase - here's a link>

print several out, and put them into a school type notebook!!

Knowing when and why you ate is important to avoid overeating, eating when stressed, eating when depressed. This food record is a daily journal of your eating habits. To the right of each meal listed below, record what you ate, when you ate, your hunger level, and your mood when you ate. Good luck on your journey and remember, ONE DAY AT A TIME, NO GUILT and just MOVE ON when you are having a rough day! YOU CAN DO THIS - I'm rooting for you. Dotti
List the following: Food /Points/ Time Eaten / Hunger Level*/ Mood**
* Hunger Levels (1-5): 1 = not hungry, 5 = super hungry
** Moods: (A) Happy; (B) Content; (C) Bored; (D) Depressed; (E) Rushed; (F) Stressed; (G) Tired; (H) Lonely; (I) Anxious; (J) Angry; (K) Other (describe)

I am chugging water and if I maintain this week I will be happy. It has been a hellish week around here. I am exhausted.
. That makes sense to me now.TY
My mom's gall bladder actually burst when I was little, and it was quite scary!
) The difference between when I was maintaining and when I started gaining again? Simple - I stopped what I was doing (counting calories/exercising/drinking water). I would start to have a few cheat days in a row, or go out of town, or take a break from exercising (which I should be doing more of now!), and I would get out of the habit. It would snowball from there, and pretty soon, I was just not trying anymore. I have to maintain these eating habits (and exercise habits - once I form them again) in order to maintain my weight. I have to come to terms with that. I know that one of the times I gained a bit was because I was frustrated that I had to make so much effort just to be on the high side of my ideal weight, and some people make no effort at all and are skinny! I just didn't think it was fair. Maybe it's not, but regardless, it's what I have to do. And it IS worth it for me to lose this weight and KEEP it off. I don't have to be quite as exact on the calories when I am maintaining, and I can eat a little more, but I still have to stay within certain limits, and the only way I can do that is to pay attention and make an effort. So, even after I hit my goal, which will be at least several months from now, I will need Peep support. Sooooooooo glad I found this thread!
Dont let anything, or anyone deter you from your goal!! You are strong - let us hear you ROAR!!!
