I just had this great idea for the Peep Meet - for those of you doing the run together. We should all get lime green wigs; like the one that is someone's avatar (sorry can't think of whose it is)! It would be hilarious with all these skinnie minnies in lime green wigs power walking around the world!

Lady and The Tramp are special to me, my first band trip in the '70s to WDW, our band marched in the WDW parade...

DH was my "math tutor" and had my itinarary... and called me long distance to ask me to the prom...

I bought the stuffed animals Lady and the Tramp... when I went to college I had dh take care of Lady, and I took care of Tramp... 5 years later they were reunited when dh and I were married...

Thanks!! I didnt want to call the Dr after hours line for something I knew another mom would know. I thought she was probably OK, but just wanted to check.

Some hospitals have nurses on staff that you can call after hours just to ask simple questions. They are already working anyway so it's not like you would be waking them or calling "after hours" for them. You can call your hospital info line and find out if they can help you. Hope that makes sense

I sold Tupperware for a while! I loved it, but I didn't make much money...I kept spending all my profits on the cool new things they came out with every month!!!

I'm wearing a smaller bra today, and I must say, I am feeling a bit perky!

I only wish!!! I lost 30 lbs and went from a size 38D to a size 34DD - how does that happen?!?!

But that is sometimes the only exercise I get daily is the bending over to scoop them up!!

Ok, so once I told DH I wanted a to "lift" the girls surgically, and he told me to get 2 rubber bands and tie one end to the girls and the other end to my ears! I nearly fell out of my chair laughing!

Anyway, I am starting to get the chills. So I have all the symptoms that are listed on the NyQuil bottle, so I think I am going to go take some, and get some rest. I have to work tomorrow. I probably caught this from one of my preschoolers germy hands.

Lime green is the official color of DIS. (Sadly some other boards have been hitching onto our wagon though and they have LGMHs also on their sites...... Why can't they get an original idea?)

GOOD MORNING PEEPS!!!

CAST OFF/CAST ON.... They sawed the stinky cast off DS yesterday, x-rayed, and found out the break is not completely healed and put a new cast on. At least it's clean!?! And I did ask for a few minutes to wash thoroughly before they put the new one on.

DD was x-rayed at the same time and although the x-ray didn't show a break, Dr. suspects its hairline and will show up soon. She has to wear a brace (wrist) and come back for more x-rays in 2 weeks. Thanks for your kind words...

Temp in 5 degrees here this morning with -2 wind chill. Two to five inches of snow due in tonight starting around dark. Please let there be school tomorrow, please let there be school tomorrow............

DD has a bad sprain, they do not think it is broken. But they told her to stay on crutches until this weekend.

GOOD! No cast! It's kinda fun for kids that age to walk around a crutches for a few days. She'll probably enjoy that!

GOOD MORNING PEEPS I had a great post of replies going last night and then DS turned off the computer. He just loves the on off buttons. Only thing is our desktop is very tempormental and does not always like to turn back on on. So I am now getting to my replies.

How did you do? When I absolutely must have something I have a small piece and then behave the rest of the day.

I am depressed because I didnt lose any weight. I have been 122 for weeks! I cant get the darn thing to move.Maybe the scale is broken I know wishful thinking!

I had a small piece and then 4 choc. covered strawberries, but hey I did get in 100 oz of water.

Well, I was just reading the WISH forum the FAQ Marathon/Race stuff... quite a lot to take in!!

It sounds like we should plan on being there the Thursday before the race...

and maybe leave on Monday... and not plan on doing many parks/rides...

As long as you do not answer yourself it you should be fine. I will have to go read that stuff--I really want to do the half, but not sure how much time it is going to take up other than the actual race.

OK, need some fast Mom help here...how high does a fever have to be before I should be concerned?? My 4yr old has a fever of almost 102. Is that scary high or just high? I have been giving her tylenol all afternoon, but she was late getting it when she was sleeping and her fever crept up. Any tips?? I am giving her popsicles and lots of fluids but the poor thing is still on fire

I had answered you before but my puter was turned off. The others gave you great advice. My kids spike high fevers. The worse that DD was was 105.4. DS # 2 had one when he had measals and chicken pox at the same time of 104.2. Just keep pushing fluids.

DH leaves in a few hours and has asked to take my laptop with him. THe team is riding on a bus for this trip and he wants to watch some movies. So I will only be on in the mornings and at night, unless I can score a computer at work.

DS#1 is very sick. Started spiking a fever last night--I think he has strep so heading to DR. this a.m. DD is still coughing badly--we thought she was getting better, but has since relapsed. DS#2 is having adnoids removed on Friday and Tubes put in. He has been sick since Thanksgiving. Please pray that no oe catches what DS#1 has. WIll update later. Off to get ready and start drinking my water. I will probably have one last looksie to see who all is up before I head out the door. Have a great day everyone.

My health insurance company also has a 24 hour hotline number that we can call a nurse on.

It' s from our secret green club thread. Yes the 6,000 post on this thread was no my 1st big post. I had some significant post on the green club and one of the other regular posters PMed me this picture to use as an avatar as a prize. If you check out avatars for DISUNC and Cynderella, you'll see they have similar hair!

Good Morning all and Happy Tuesday!!! SO sorry for everyone under the weather this cold is really getting the better of alot of kids and grown ups too! WE have a 2 hour delay due to the cold. I will take it!

SO I have been really watching my food and exercised for 1 hour last night and was shocked I did not lose 15 lbsw this am, but thats ok. Baby steps!!!!I have 2 interviews this week, as I learned we willb e paying in taxes this year..not happy! God save the queen I live in a commonweatlh and I think I just boought her majesty a new ugly dress!!!

If I don't find a 2nd job we will not be going in April sad fact but its reality..I don't appreciate reality much. DS is bummed about 2nd job he doesn't knwo about DIsney and just doesn't like Mama off to work. Its neat that he isn't happy about it I must tell you!

My goal is to get under 200 on my scale this week! I am starting at 204 and really wnat to work my tail feather off! Dene is my hero! That girl sure exercises alot! God BLess. I fell off the bike and wanted to go lay down in bed!

Todays motivation: Would I let a friend say the negative things I say to myslef to herself! I need to act like my own best friend!

I have to fast tonight for surgery in am, so I pray I can stay away from my tea! I think I should own stock in Lipton. OK off to print out resume and stay focused on my goals for today!

Here for a giggle for the day.... I dyed my hair last night with new shade, DS asked me to come and read and got lost and forgot about the dye! OMG I have red on the top I can't believe it! DS and DH say it doesn't look bad OMG and I have interviews can you believe it?? SOrry need to reschedule my interview you see I left my hair dye on to long!!!

OK note to self...never dye hair night before interview!!!
