Well this isn't really food related but if you could spare a little pixie dust, I'd really appreciate it. As I mentioned I'm a graduate student studying speech pathology and I am at the point where I'm getting my own clients with supervision. Well I have a client tomorrow that I am very nervous about. More than any of my other clients combined. I met the client last semester because I did his initial evaluation, but this is the first time meeting for his therapy. His case is not like any ordinary speech or language or even voice disorder and I feel like I'm just making goals up off the top of my head. My supervisor has told me to stop worrying and that I will be fine, but I am so nervous I can't even stand it. I literally feel like I have no idea what I'm doing, that I'm making stuff up, and that I will make a fool out of myself during the session. So, if you could spare some SLP pixie dust, I'd love you forever!
Foodwise, I was kinda bad today. I got really stressed (again, school related) because I wasn't feeling well, and my other supervisor sprung all this testing and screening stuff on us - for tomorrow on top of my nerves over tomorrow's session! So I've been scrambling to get things together and in the process ate a lot of junk. That I bought at CVS. Oops. Tomorrow is another day - and weigh day. Hopefully it's lower than last week. Even if it's a half a pound.
Thanks Peeps!

for you! You will be fine. your post reminded me of when I was in college. I was taking a water safety instructor course. Along with the course we did swim lessons, mostly with local school kids. Well one Saturday am we had a special teaching assignment we had to go to the pool for. We were teaching handicapped kids. I was assigned to teach a blind, mentally ******** teenage girl. I was scared to death. I had no idea what to do! But you know what, the situation was different than anything I'd ever experienced, but I had the basic skills I needed and I just didn't realize it! It went wonderfully. Truly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I'd actually forgotten about it until I read your post, and now I have chills remembering how wonderful it was. Your supervisor would not have given you this assignment if you couldn't handle it! You must be extra special to have been assigned to this student. You have the skills and you'll work it out. It will be magical!
But I will help if I can, hotels over here don't seem to be as well equipped as yours, the rooms seem to be much smaller and nearly always only have 1 bed. England is a great place to visit just not in the cold drab winter!
GOOD MORNING, SKINNY FRIENDS!!! YOU LOOK FABULOUS TODAY!!!
DEB!!! Never enjoy that pants-biting-the-butt thing.
Welcome aboard! PM me your birthday....I'm the keeper of the birthday list!
OT....can't wait to go back and check out your dining reviews....they are awesome!

I'll be putting those awesome snack lists to use today - but only a few!
I'm still being good! I haven't fallen off the wagon yet - which is a miracle to me!
