DISappearing Peeps...A fastpass to THIN! Part 2

OH my Peeps!!

Its been a day!!!

My parents live in Ft Myers Florida. (snowbirds actually - well.. oh never mind!!) so, mom called crying, dad got on the phone to tell me Uncle Kenny died, in Peoria, a fav uncle of mom's, and the round trip for the 2 of them would be over $700 (funeral this Sat) so I get online... and POOF ixiedust: I got them 2 RT for $250!! Then I got online to get a hotel room, had to call Dad's cousin to make sure I got the "right part of town" then I had to call Dad's sisters, 'cause they're coming and will want the same hotel room. I heard more of "why did you send them there? You sure make things complicated" WELL YEAH, just ask dh!!! and hey, its what happens when you pinch pennies...

I got the hotel to give us a $10 a night discount!! Comfort Suites (I like the suites when you're going to afuneral everyone congregates in aroom - having a couch and tables is a good thing!!) Price went from $79.99 a night to $64.50!!

Mom cried so hard, she says I now have to get the "family" tatoo Big joke in our family - my brother and his daughters and wife and my aunts and their kids all have this shark tattoo!! My Eagle Boy Scouts and my Dh just go and I just

So seriously can I loose 40# in 3 days???

Dene', this totally cracked me up! I think it was partly because I felt so bad for aldisneygrl's locked car predicament and I had never heard of a dog rolling down a car window before.

Well, ladies and grumpythreaddude, I started Weight Watchers at Work today. It seems like I get more points this time than I remembered getting before, but they have a new formula to calculate your points with. I didn't do too badly, but I need to get to the store to stock up on more of the right foods. I'm going to give it a week, then see if I need to adjust my points down a bit. I lost 2 pounds from the weigh-in at orientation. Unfortunately, my weigh-ins are on Tuesdays, so I guess I'll just have to wait and report my future progress on Fridays since my home scale isn't very accurate.

I have tears down my eyes reading those two!!

oh, and YEAH WEIGHT WATCHERS - - GO MINNIE MOO!!! GO!!!

Stacey - All I could think about, after reading you were going to Boma's, is that I would love to have a plate full of those Zebra Domes. That would drown my puppy woes!

Actually, the convict and her sidekick are laying together on the big pillow I bought for my Shadow. We have a trial period of two weeks for Trixie (which expires Saturday). I began to wonder if she was trying to send me a message that she wanted to go back to that shelter? After seeing this sweet picture, I think she is a keeper. Even if she did lock me out of my car, she at least rolled down the window, so I could get her out, she must be a smart dog.

Thanks for all the kind words of encouragement! I knew you guys would come through for me! I am all pumped to do better. Gonna go drink some more water to push all that fiber through. Too cold to walk the pups tonight though. I think we have all had a busy day.

I just ate the Kashi Sweet n Sour Chicken meal too!!!!! Good HUH?!

Great minds think alike! It was yummy at first, but then the flavors got to me. I think it was too sweet, but I am going to try it again. I also bought the Lime Shrimp Cilantro. Have you tried that? How does it compare? I'll let you know what I think. It was better to eat the Kashi meal instead of the chicken casserole I made for the family.

Bee - You figured it out! With all this walking, I will probably be down by 5 pounds!!! I mean I did eat one strawberry and a piece of watermelon with dessert!

Eeyore - sorry to hear about your uncle, sending prayers your way.

I wish I could keep the internet the whole time we're here. But it is expensive and the next couple days are very busy anyway. But I am taking notes every night so I can do a great tr for you guys!

Oh and Umama - you are right about the vortex toilets at Pop!

Yeah, it was pretty funny to see her sticking her head out the window. She is a Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix that we just picked up from a local shelter last Thursday. She has some separation anxiety issues, and she is all over the car when I pump gas. My other dog just sits in the passenger seat. Also, I have all the windows locked so the kids can't roll down the windows, so she rolled it down from the driver's side. She was just jumping all over the car, and locked the car and rolled the window down. I am just lucky she didn't jump out the window. How would I explain that to the shelter?

Good luck on the WW. I am a lifetime member who has lost 30 lbs. twice, and am trying again. Third time is a charm, right?

What kind of puppy is this? At least she has character!

She is a two year old Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix. She looks like the "Wishbone" dog from PBS. Character is definitely something she has. She has livened up our lives for the past week. It has been quite an adventure. Her name is Trixie, and I think she is a "trickster"! So, she is living up to her name.

Have fun in AK and Epcot tomorrow! Did you see the teams latest challenge? It amazes me how creative those WABASABI people are. They came up with a brochure for Disney for the year 2071 (100th year celebration). It blew me away!

I don't know how they do it on the side. To me it seems like it would be a full time job to do what they do in the time frames they are given. The next challenge is due Friday. They have to write a prequel to a classic Disney film. I know that whoever wins this thing will definitely have earned it. I just met someone on the Universal team who lives near me, and she has a full time job. I don't know how she does it. I guess that is why they have several team members, and they do a lot of their work at night.

Now dh's response to the tattoo - but then he was talking to his mother (who has a tattoo... long story when both your conservative, republican parents have tattoos, but you do not!!
