In the land of mixed signals...

what does it mean when your dh is home working, and you call him and he says come home... (when you were heading to the gym) So you come home and politely wait for him to finish typing (and you are Dis'ing).... then you say "are you ready?" and he says "yes".. and kisses you?

WWYD? Me, I ran upstairs and left a trail for him to follow!! :yay:

DH? He put on his coat and left!! :eek1: I ran to the window in my birthday suit and knocked, he waved, and called "What are you doing?" um nothing...

So I put my gym clothes on and he called me... I had to " 'splain" it to him... He's still :rotfl: at himself... he says I need to "spell it out clearer" but he still thinks its funny!!

:dance3:

Oh I am laughing my butt off at this one!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao:

Finally! Here is the recipe again! Love all y'all!!!

Thanks Bee! :yay: Can't wait to try these!!! They sound better than my plain version!!

Here is the pizza Recipe Ladies....Also you can substitue the chicken, cilantro, red onions, cherry tomatoes, and BBQ sauce and make pepperoni and SAVE even more fat and carbs. Just get rid of the BBQ sauce and instead spray crust with olive oil. Then place 25 pieces of Turkey pepperoni (70% less fat than standard pepporoni and it is delicious I can't really tell a diff in taste). It will be a winner for the kids. This recipe comes with 100% satisfaction garanteed. If your family doesn't absolutely love it, stop making it and I will refund 300% of the money you paid for the recipe. :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

This one looks like a keeper as well! I'll make it this week!!! Thanks!!:thanks:

I can vouch for both recipes....:thumbsup2 Write them down....or they'l be gone in an hour!

My kids just walked to school in our 8 degrees cold weather. It's a little "nipply" here! SOMEbody laugh at that! It's from Christmas Vacation!

Printed both so I'd have them! No losing them this time!!!

I'm with ya! :lmao: It's a little "nipply" here in Buffalo too!!!! :rotfl2:

About the cold...

Those Floridian are just nuts. Their blood is so thin if they get a paper cut they would bleed to death! I have a girlfriend who lives in Tampa and she wears a jacket if it gets in the 70's...:beach:

And 40 is cold for us...especially when it is still dropping and they are calling for a possible ice storm by Thursday! You guys who don't live here just don't understand... Around here, at the meer mention of a possibility of a snow flurry, it is mandatory that you get in your car, drive to the store and buy bread and milk (and beer) in case you can't get out for a couple of hours (which is about how long snow lasts here...). It is hilarious - the store shelves will be empty tomorrow! :rotfl2:

Hi everyone,

I've just finished reading UtahMama's trip report (awesome popcorn:: ) and jumped over to this thread that she wrote about. We are leaving for Disney in 11 days :yay: and I have been trying to lose weight since the beginning of the year.

I'm hoping I can make some weight-loss buddies who will keep me in check and make me post my weigh-ins. I would love to lose a total of 70 pounds, but I'll take ANYTHING at this point! I'm trying South Beach diet, never did that before, and exercising by walking (trying to do 10K steps a day, but haven't gotten there yet).

Thanks!

Dragonfly,Mo told me this morning about the trouble with the car. What has the mechanic said this time??You seem to be checking this thread more than you are answering your phone...:rolleyes1

I spent some time :surfweb: last night working up numbers for a WDW vacation and I may need to stay offsite.Anyone have any experience with that??

QUOTE]

Two things...

First, I been calling you all morning too and you ain't been answering either!!! Did you loose your house phone again? :confused3

Secondly - I told you that I stayed offsite (in Kisimee) when we went in 2000 and it was great! (see, she can't take my word for anything...this is what I get for years of loyal friendship!) Less than 5 min from the park and WAY cheaper! I know you guys are all addicted to staying in the park (and I probably would be too if I had ever had the luxury of being able to) but we have always been on a budget and outside the park worked fine for us. And we went in May and there was NO ONE there!

I would have thought the same thing you did, given him a "preview", then ran upstairs leaving the "trail" behind!!! :lmao:

I was doing South Beach too until I got knocked up!:lmao:

No not really laughing just trying to keep it all light...........

My first go on it I lost 40 pounds. If you have any questions or need some new menu ideas ask away!

Have a great time on your trip! I'm very jealous. I know I just got back, but there's always WDW envy. Cause according to Mal we should be living in that castle!

Has anyone heard of anyone staying overnight in it yet?

Woke up today and 15 minutes later we lost power! For 3 hours. No lights, NO heat and everyone still dropped off their kids and went to work! I know they count on me and that's what I am here for, but I'd turn around and go home. Is that just me?

School went well last night. I have major papers ahead of me to right. I can do it!

Have a great day everyone!

Well I am home from work because Rachel is still sick.Tyler was up most of the night feeling like he was going to throw up so he is home also.Rachel has an appointment at 4:50,the nurse said it sounds like she has the flu. She is so pitiful and looks like she has lost weight and is breaking my heart.

Stacey,I am also green with envy but am glad you are having fun.We must see at least one pic of a bathroom in the trip report.:lmao:

Dragonfly,Mo told me this morning about the trouble with the car. What has the mechanic said this time??You seem to be checking this thread more than you are answering your phone...:rolleyes1

Yeah UM "nipply" here too..:lmao:

Hope your kidlets are feeling better! The flu has been nasty this year!

We use to only stay off-site. We would rent a car and stay at the Days Inn Suites. Has a kitchenette (with full fridge, coffee maker, toaster and stovetop), bedroom with 2 double beds and the livingroom has a murphy bed that is a double, (along with couch & chair). 5 of us stayed there and had plenty of room. We would do breakfast in the room, coffee included and have snacks ready to take to the parks. Last time we were there (1999) it was $59 a night! It was in Kissimee on International drive. I'll look online for the exact details and PM them to you. I remember it being about 15-20 min from WDW.

I should not have said anything... I love you Monica.. sorry!

I think whatever name you come up with we are going to LOVE IT!:cool1: :thumbsup2

Don't be sorry. I appreciate all comments. I don't want to miss something. I don't want a name that's going to be miss pronounced either. This might be a very hard way to go and I may just ditch the plan of finding a Z name. DH is the one I have to convince and he doesn't like "wierd" names.

I appreciated your comment. :goodvibes

monymony3471, dragonfly18, and Bee - Thanks! I guess there really is pixie dust on these boards! pixiedust:

I was way overweight most of my life (like 100 pounds) and dropped it within 9 mos when I was 22 and was able to keep it off for 5 years. I have NO idea how. :crazy2: Then I got pregnant and was on bedrest for 4 mos and gained 70 lbs. That was 6 1/2 years ago and here I am, still overweight by 70 lbs.:sad2:

I'm so glad to have support here, as I am on the boards everyday for my daily Disney fix anyway!

Ok, I had a major break thru this afternoon. I took the kids to Baskin Robbins aka 31 ways to gain weight, because they had gift certificates. I left the store WITHOUT getting any!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1: I have never done that before and there was a turtle cheescake flavor screaming my name, but I resisted. I just said, get thee behind me satan, to the little man trying to convince me I needed some, and left the building. My dh doesn't seem to understand why I was so proud of myself. Ok, I'll stop patting myself on the back now! Dh & I also took ds6 & ds9 to see Arthur and the invisibles. It was so good! I was prepared to be bored, but I really liked it.

:cool1: That's awesome!! We have a Baskin Robbins across the street, right next to Subway ironically, and I can't look at it for fear of the temptation . . . I love ice cream!! Good for you :cool1: !!

Soooo, we decided we are going to DisneyLand this year instead of WDW. We'll be driving and are booking this week. I LOVE Disney's California Adventure, especially the BIG oller coaster and Raiders of the Lost Arc ride

The Pirates of the Carabean and Haunted Mansion and Small World are all quite a bit better at DL. Does anyone know if they still have the restaraunt inside of the POC ride calle the Blue Bayou? It's so cajun and great! I used to go to DL quite often growing up in So. California!

Oooh, Utahmama when are you going?? I've never been to Disneyland and my DH has never been to Disneyland or Sea World . . . So since his DSis, DBIL and our 6 DN's moved to Arizona we thought when we go visit them at the end of the year we'd drive out to Cali for a few days to take the kiddos to Disneyland and Sea World . . . We're just in the thinking and hoping stages right now, but please tell me more . . . I can't wait for your trip report!!! Is it just me or is there not as many Disneyland websites as WDW sites?

:wave2: Less than 24 hours and I'm back! WOW! Of course I have 7 pages to catch up on :lmao: I am doing well so far today! Lots of H20, exercise, healthy food, and I bought myself a new/used video game to pass the time when I have nobody to talk to  I am so happy to be accountable to you guys/gals! Hi grumpydude & Bee you guys are so funny! The recipes look awesome!:wave2: Ladies :wave2:

eeyore:lmao: I love it! That story made for a good laugh! Sometimes we are all so busy we don't stop to think.

Mygirlsof2 :wave2: WELCOME!!! Good Luck with the South Beach diet! The only thing south beach in mi casa is that awful thing that lays at my feet each morning and tells me horrid lies when I step on it! It's the "beach" south of my body :rotfl2:
