To those like EEyore & Wonder - please know I am so glad you share because I need to know you feel comfort here - networking is a hug accross lines and boundaries. Sometimes just writing makes you feel so much better. Kind of like spilling your heart accross the wire...it just makes you feel a connection. Not as good as the real thing at all times but better than being alone.

Bee - I am so glad you are on your way to a start with a new job. I have the utmost respect for your talents that I know you will bring to the career you choose. Like you said - you knew they would offer you the job because you are qualified, deserving and committed. Breathe in when you walk in the door, hold your head high and know you belong there.

Hope everyone is safe - I have not heard back all the lab results for myself - I will know more tomm.

Okay I am only on the first page since this morning (thank goodness you did not talk as much today!) But I had to jump in with some comments. My small group just left. I tried to check in earlier, but internet was down - I was afraid I would be like ten pages behind!!

That's okay - your response was great! Hey, I didn't post at all while you were gone! Hope no one from church visited your my space last night! It sounds like something I would do and then all my youth would see it. I am the leader who goes to show a movie clip and stops it promptly AFTER the cuss word! Can't tell you how many times I have done this - it has become a running joke in the youth group.

Okay...just to clarify a few things for everyone not totally aware of yesterday's late evenings posts. There has seemed to be a small bit of confusion from some Peeps on my sanity and or ties to the Hollywood Hills.

I have never, will never, play naked twister. There are so many fun, adventurous things I enjoy, like naked pogo and sky diving but the twister in the buff...that is so wrong on so many levels. First off...there's lagistics. How would someone place a foot on blue if I am already on yellow and my were facing down? A size 13 shoe could do some damage and until my other BFF Dr. 90210 works his majic, let's face it...who needs help stretching them?

Then there is the cleanliness factor...Twister is a game of multiple people and I don't want anyones hiner in my vacinity before or after a colon blow.

Okay...so now you can see, I am just a SA from Minnesota...trying to stay warm by making up my own line of humour.

Those who caught on to my carefully spun web of deceipt, please help the others through this transistional phase.

I see DD's and think huge Hoo Hoos. So now I have Grumpy in visual with a racey black number, ...maybe a Victoria Secret demi with push -up benefits. I am not sure, maybe I am imagining way too much...he looks more like a camisole type of guy but if he has DD's...Bee...you need to get that man some support or he will be known as Droopy not Grumpy!

I am 5'4" I think but Dragonfly wants to have me professionally measured-maybe I am shrinking.

She keeps trying to tell herself that, but she is really only 5'3"
I am only 5'6" and she after the 5K she called me Amazon Legs. I am not that tall, but I do have long legs! I am really short in my family as my sister and brother are 6'3" and 6'4"

I've just remembered a funny story about an exercise ball. My Mum, Sister and I went to Champneys health club for a 3 day stay and we did a ball class. Well my Mum had never had any experience using one before and there were giggles all round. We then had to lay on the floor and grip the ball with our feet and raise it in the air, well somehow Mum lost control of hers and it flew across the room hitting several people me included, it was so funny and needless to say she hasn't bought one in fear of all the breakages. Also whilst there we did a relaxation session, I just couldn't relax as I was scared of what noises my body would make, others didn't seem to care! Suddenly the lady in charge tapped my Mum on the shoulder to wake her as her snoring had got a bit loud. Well she was told to relax but probably not that much!

My mom went with me one time on a field tip to the Planiterium. During the show, she fell asleep and starting snoring really loudly. All the kids were giggling and woke her up! It was hilarious!!!

Jeriber - congrats on the ne business! Owning a gym would be awesome!

Shannon, I am sorry your are having such a hard time with school. I know how frustrating it can be. Warning: be careful what you wish for. In August 2005, I was very overwhelmed with work, we had just sold our house and we were in the middle of a move. I heard another hurricane might head our direction (we had already had a couple of near misses). And I thought (and told people), "Great, maybe we will miss a day of school and I could catch up!" Of course, I had no idea that we would be out for 3 weeks when Katrina hit. Everyone blamed me and my wish! This was not the break I had hoped for. Maybe if there had been air conditioning....

I will be praying for you. Just remember this is only a season, it will be worth it in the end.

#2 Do they have extenders to go over your shoulders? Just wondering how long the straps are for a 6'6 DD person.

#3 If you have back hair...does the clasp ever get caught...or do you wax. Just a suggestion...my Mother in Law has to.

#4 Do you use the matching panties or just stick with the neccessities. If you do ...do you prefer bikkini, brief or thong.

#5 Are you so at the semi-annual sale the first thing in the morning....the rush and excitement of it all is exhilerating...we could use your strength to help push other, less deserving women out of the way so we get the best deals. I am not nervous about the work part. I am nervous about the mom part. I have been here when the kids left for and came home from school for basically the last 3 years so I am nervous about them getting where they need to be, when they need to be.

Also, we have a winter storm watch for tomorrow and I HATE to drive in snow. Havent done that for 3 years either, cause when we had the bar, we lived above it...

So, STRESSED... But, excited.

say a prayer for my ds... he works for the student police at Univ of IL - and had a bad night... almost got run over by a drunk driver, he was really shaken, and got very angry when "they" wouldnt arrest the driver... (his partner and my son were in shock, it happened fast, they jumped, and rolled out of the way... they then went looking for the car after calling it in, "better than 911" and apparently nothing came from it, so ds is indignant!)

I've never thought much of the campus police - they tend to "Hush" up stuff, and those kids that work for them dont have it easy!! They are out there in this weather and are NOT allowed to wear anything covering their face!!! DS works the midnight shifts!!

I knew I should've gone down there - other ds was in a concert tonight!!

ACCOUNTABILITY: Guess who pulled her calf doing that step aerobics during Survivor on Thurs.? No exercise for me this weekend - I was doing well to hobble through my errands. But I'm eating well. I'm finally in agreement that I wasn't taking in enough calories and am trying to hit at least 1500 with healthy choices. So far, so good! Now to see if it leads to any weight loss... or at least some thigh loss!

Ouch! See I knew exercising was dangerous!!!! People have died on treadmills and those crazy exercise balls! And don't even get me started on the deaths caused by Eliptical machines! Hope you feel better soon.

OK....I was alone in the house today....which almost never happens...so for fun, I searched YouTube for all my favorite old 80's music videos...AND THEY'RE ALL THERE!!!

I danced all afternoon. I really should get some curtains on the back of the house. Elvis Costello, the B-52's, Squeeze, English Beat, Queen, Talking Heads....it's all there. Who needs to get out the records?

Our New Year's Eve 80's party we did with the youth was so fun! One of the kids came over to me and said, "I think you leaders are enjoying this way more than any of us." He was right! We loved trying to do the Thriller dance!

I've actually been sitting here printing out names and phone numbers for doctors on my insurance plan. I've only been sick enough to see a doctor twice in the last 19 years... a bladder infection about 6 years ago and a bad virus this past June (even went to the ER for that one). ANYWAY, I have no idea what my blood pressure, cholesteral, or anything is ... and I haven't been to the ob/gyn since my postpartum checkup... DD will be 20 in October
