seriously? you got the chance to go to that wonderful event and you are going to complain about a measly $4 coke?? i would gladly have paid 4 times that amount to be able to go that party. but to each their own i suppose....
Were enough drinks purchased to meet Disney's minimim requirement?

As stated earlier.....the Podcast Crew did not set the prices or profit from in any way.
The bars were set up as a convenience for our guests.
If you think this pricing was crazy....I would suggest never visiting a bar in a NYC theater or in a hotel in Rome.
I paid 20 euros for two 12 ounce diet Cokes at the Hotel Excelsior in Rome.
At the time that was approximately $25.00.
I understand that you have asked that question previously and I'm not sure that that information will be made public.

I am a little shocked that people are shocked by the price.
Heck, it is Disney. The same place where we pay 9 bucks for a 1 dollar burger and smile while we are doing so.
Just as comparison go to a a pro ball game and you can expect to pay that or more. A brewsky will set you back 8 - 9 bucks.
Just kind of how it goes.
With that being said, I would have loved to have been there. Would have been more then happy to pay if I could have enjoyed the event.

exactly!!!
i would have been willling to pay $40/can if only i could have been there!!
Ditto here! Don't want to disregard the OPs opinion, but hey, you got to go! I don't think "Disapalooza" and "complaint" should be in the same sentence. From what I am seeing in the pics and hearing around, there was nothing to complain about with DAP!
Disney did indeed set a minimum amount that must be met.
If that minimum sales figure was not met.... and I don't know if it was....the Dis Unplugged was responsible for making up the difference.
Again, this was Disney's policy and not ours.
