Hello!

In the very early stages of planning my families first trip to DLP (well second for me but 1st as an adult :) )

My question is - we are in the UK and my eldest has a condition which classifies her as visually impaired. Now here she can get a wristband at theme parks to allow her to use the disabled entrances. I see Disney do something similar but I'm not sure what evidence I need .... I don't drive so have never applied for a Blue Badge and we don't claim DLA either, for theme parks here I just take a recent hospital letter listing her condition and that suffices. Can anyone tell me if this will be enough for DLP as well?
We could manage without, but if it's crowded she get's disorientated and confused which leads to Anxiety attacks which will basically mean we would have to come out of the line so being able to access via a less busy entrance would be a great help.

Thanks in advance :)

Hi there!

You will need a note from her doctor, stating what her situation is and what she can't do, or what could happen (like having a panic attack).

This letter must not be older then 3 months prior to your visit.
(so if you go in December for example, the letter must not be older then October)

With that letter you can go to City Hall, and get the EAC.
Depending on what card they will give you, there's eather only 1 person allowed to accompany her, or up to 4-5 (I'm not sure about more then 1 persons, because I always get the orange card, which only allows 1 extra person).
