I'm "officially" joining the challenge! I grabbed my clipart, and I'l already looking forward to my first new one! :)

I have about 60 pounds to lose (give or take) and I want to go from my current size 16 to a size 12 by December.

Looking forward to sharing encouragement and ideas with everyone!

Ok, so I'm a little late getting started, but hopefully I'll still be able to shed some of my winter insulation!:D

I've been pretty sedentary over the winter months and I'm going to start off by walking more and watching what I eat. I'm not going to be following a specific program, but I know I am one of those who really needs to watch carb intake. Alot of my coworkers are on Weight Watchers and they have been getting me in the right state of mind over the last several weeks. I'm going to be packing healthier lunches instead of eating in my school's cafeteria and trying to not eat too many of the treats that our wonderful moms send in for birthdays, etc. My goal is to lose 10-15.

I'm in! I know I'm new. But I've got 86, I think, days until Disney and I'm hoping to drop at least 20 pounds. I wish for more, but.. 20 is my goal right now.

I lost about 45 pounds (Looks more, worked out a lot) over the course of a year and a half with.. well cheating constantly on the LA Weightloss Diet. I'm 17 and me and my friends always go out to eat, especially in the summer and it's just REALLY hard to say no to some french fries. But no more!


I don't have any specific diet plan, for some reason I can't follow those very well. I'm just going to not eat any sort of junk, drink WATER (I have never gone back to regular non diet drinks and it's been two years since I started.) and I work at a gym and if I get one more shift I get a free membership. Then I'll be working out all the time.

I'm currently at a pants size of 18/20. My goal for disney is a 16. Just a 16. I would love a 14. Don't want to set my goals TOO high. Oh yeah. And I want to get rid of the cellulite on my legs. Nothing good about being 17 years old and having that. Anyway! I'm in!
 
Count me in!! I've started on Atkins in January and have lost 22 pounds so far! I would like to be a size 12 by the Mousefest cruise and am currently a size 18. YIKES!! I know it's a long way to go but I'm motivated for the challenge!!

We also have a June trip to WDW planned and I would like to be into a size 16 by then.

Let the fun begin!!

I would love to get in on this once I have the baby... Can I have my first weigh in before the baby is born and the next after?? What a great jumpstart! LOL

I started out this pregnacy weighing less than I had in years (I was over 200 lbs after my second was born... got down to 160 just days before I found out I was preggo with #3... and so far I have gained 20 lbs with this baby... more than I gained with the other two UGH)I hope the next 6ish weeks dont bring on too much more of a weight gain, but then again with this baby craving sweets all the time I doubt it.

My plan is to cut out junk food and choclate. Plus I tend to eat healthier in the spring and summer with all the grilling and freash veggies we eat. As far as excersie.... Walking will be my big thing. I will put the older two on their bikes, baby in the stroller and walk/jog along with them! I also plan on taking golfing lessons this summer, and when I do golf, I will walk and carry my own bag. Not a lot of calories burned (Like areobics) but it is more than I have been doing now. (waddle waddle sit sit)

I look forward to jumping in head first as soon as I give birth/recover! LOL
 
I am doing Slimfast and eating a healthy diet(more fruits and vegis)

so far I have lost 6 lbs.Would like to lose at least 20 more though....


Great to have a support group to fall back on.

At least I'm not the last, late-starter!

The only diet I subcsribe to is "moderation." I'm going to go to the WELLNESS CENTER regularly (I usually go sporadically). I'll slip on my headphones and listen to ENYA. Ahhh, heaven!:Pinkbounc

I signed up, but I've really been struggling to stay on track,(I didn't even pick up my clip art 'cuz I wasn't doing it) had visitors for 2 weeks, got sick, lots of traveling for work....but i got things straighten out last week & I 'm back on board and I'm down 3 lbs, only 22 more to go.
I picked up my clipart today and am looking forward to "trading up" to my 5lbs soon!

This is a great idea! I'm in - starting today!

Starting my diet today. I going to follow the low cal version of the Curves diet - I like the idea of how it "increases your metabolism" and after your weight stabilizes you should be able to eat reasonably well for 29 days of the month and diet for only 2. I can do that! I have to say it did work for me when I was on it about a year ago. Lost 10 pounds and didn't diet at all after that. Also stopped going to Curves to exercise. That was not a good move!

Anyway, I got started back at Curves last week after being gone for about 9 months. Although I didn't regain more than a pound or so of the weight I lost before I "drifted away", I don't feel as good as I did when I was exercising on a regular basis and my blood sugar has been harder to control (I'm a diabetic).

I want to lose 20 - 25 pounds before the end of the year and about 10 of those before June 6. That's when my baby sister (she's about to turn 39) is getting married. The family is so excited and happy for her (she found a great guy) and I want to look my best.

Thanks to all of you have already posted. You are an inspiration! Hope to return the favor soon.

You say that you are diabetic. Are you typeI or type II? My husband is type II.
