Dis Royalty???

I don't want to meet the "popular" kids, I want to meet the quiet, shy ones that are holding in how awesome they could be. Personally, I don't see the draw to many of the so called DIS "celebrities", so I'll let their groupies hold them high

I don't think that there's anything that makes the quiet people any more charming or uncharming (is that a word? ) as the ones who aren't quiet. I'm betting that there are some great posters who are quiet and some great ones who aren't quiet. I'm not going to make judgements on one group or the other, which is why I'm excited when I see any DISer.

Well, I was all set and excited to meet Rick and Joe at Sloan Kettering this summer, then I went and got too well for the docs there to want to see me. Such a trade off. I'd love to meet anyone from the PMS thread and there are a couple I won't name simply because they are walking train wrecks and I just want to see it in person for myself

You know, it just isn't possible for me to wear lime green everyday. Not only do I not have any lime green clothing, but it would get a bit old. I could have a necklace made of the paint chip lime green Mickey, but I think it would just be easier if I got a lime green Mickey tatoo. Where should I put it so all will see?

I started to make a list of all the people here who I enjoy...when it hit 12 I decided that I'd probably love to meet any diser. This is such a great group. I don't participate in the conversations much, but I enjoy lurking a whole lot. There have been many days when I have been miserable at my job and coming here cheers me up. So, any diser I meet would be royalty and I would have to buy them a Dole Whip for making my bad days better!!

I still have yet to meet PandyPaws even though she gave us lots of advice and information when we were moving to Florida a few years ago. We always used to look for her at the Safari at AK, but I haven't seen her on these boards in a while. She's definitely someone DH and I want to meet.

The DIS'ers we have met along the way by chance, are fantastic! I still have never seen a definitive lime green mickey head or other obvious signs of DIS'ers while in the parks. We have overheard people talking about the DIS on several occasions while in the parks. It seems lots and lots of people wear lime green here in Florida. They can't ALL be DIS'ers, right?
