Dis Rivers Network-Members Please Read

We have a problem with the network. In the 'cat herders river ride-start room, you are kicked off because the next room has the friends only selected. Could everyone please check your rooms.

Yes this exact thing just happened to me too! I was trying to time the ride and now I cannot go any further.

I've been trying to fix it, but VMK won't let me log in this morning. I've been trying for hours. After I put in my name and passwork, it kicked me back to the log-in page. Sorry. Until the game lets me log in, I can't fix it.

hey guys,
I just browsed the other river thread and i didnt see an answer to this question. Where does the ride start? Is this room always 'findable', even if the room owner isnt online? If so, how do i go about finding the ride start?

basically everybody on the loop has a start point in their room, so really you can start anywhere on the river. Just find one of us. Or do a room search for peoples names you see as part of the loop in the other thread. Even if they are not online, if people are riding through their rooms, you can still enter any of those rooms and hop on.

The official start is in Canadian's first room.

I thought JeanJoe/Bezoar put a Jungle Cruise Teleporter in one of the DIS teleport network rooms to Canadian's room.

^^ Yep, there's a boat teleporter from the Special Rooms Lobby in the teleporter network.

I just usually do a room search for Dis, then find a room that mentions the river and hop on. As Dude said, there's usually someone riding the river so you can get in even if the owner is not around.

Yes. Anyone's who's hooked into the Dis teleporter network can follow these directions to get to Canadian's River room.

Do the following, in this order
- start in your room, where you have a coffin linked to the teleporter network
- go through your coffin; this will put you in one of the lobbies
- then, go through the tea cup; this will put you in the Central Lobby
- then, go through the stitch teleporter; this will put you in the Dis Special Rooms Lobby
- then, go through the boat teleporter; this will put you in Canadian's river room

Incidentally, the Dis Special Rooms Lobby also has the link to the Dis Holiday Rooms, which are also cool to check out. I hope to continue to use the Special Rooms Lobby to continue to make it possible for us to get to these "special event" networks, even when room owners are not present.

Bottom line: go coffin, tea cup, stitch, then boat teleporter.

Or you could just do a room search and hope

Well, in a way, you are hooked in.

The only problem is that the directions for you goes something like "Get onto the river, ride it for about an hour and a half through about 50 rooms, all the way around until you get into Canadian's room, then take the boat teleporter..."

ok be, you lost me. I thought the point was to ride though 50 rooms for an hour lol. Why would you need to take the boat in canadians room if you are already riding on the river? lol.

Really, it's not that dissimilar to traversing WDW. You take a bus from your hotel to the MK. Then from the MK you grab the monorail to the TTC to go to Epcot. From Epcot you walk thru the park to the International Gateway where you board a boat for MGM. From MGM you grab a bus back to the TTC and board another for Animal Kingdom. From Animal Kingdom, you grab a bus to Downtown Disney. Lather, rinse, repeat

I did that when i first joined, but then realized I had put it on when I bought the room. I fixed up pretty quickly.
