Hi,
I don't know if you consider me an old timer. I joined the DIS in 2000. I still pop in every day to see what is going on, but I have been staying away from the community board because the threads have been so ugly in the last few months.

I'm not sure what my tag says, but I've been around since about '98. I was a DISCon I & II participant.
I haven't been around in a long while though...2 kids and life will do that to you.
I have to go through this thread and see who the ol' timers are that are still around
My little sister Emily that was with me for DISCon I is now 21 and is in the Disney College Program and working in Downtown Disney!

OMG, Kim, I was thinking about you the other day and wondering how you are! I was talking to someone about the only time I was in Massachusetts and that it was for a Disney fans gathering, and it brought you to mind. Wow, two kids! Congrats.

Nice to get an update from you NurseKim. I remember a rather chilly Dole Whip meet during DIScon. And you sister is in the Disney CP. How exciting for her and for you. I hope that CP works out for her. I've heard firsthand that Disney can be a tough place to work, especially for the kids in the college program. My son only lasted 3 months at Rock'n'Roller Coaster before Disney sent him packing.

OMG. Smee, Barb, TeresaNJ, and NurseKim. It's like a DIScon reunion. I miss the old days.

Will anyone be at MouseFest 2008? Since DIScon I, I've been fortunate to visit WDW every December. This year my wife and daughter are going to be able to come too. Both of my kids are in college. Yikes. Relish these years, NurseKim. Your children will grow up way too quickly.
