DIS oldtimers (well newtimers too) where are you?

I joined the DIS in 2000. I read MUCH more than I contribute - could hardly type in the early days! I remember the story of the corn people in Liberty Square. Would someone please tell the story again as I could never do it justice?!! I also remember a hilarious thread about an investigation into the disappearance of the noodles from the 'Ohana menu. We laughed for days over that one. Does anyone else remember that?

I don't know where the link is but I sure rememeber it! I think there was a picture taken later of a bunch of DISers sitting on the steps with canned corn in their hands. I would love to see that!

I was in one of those corn photos (although probably not the one you are thinking of because that was a really LARGE group of people). That was in the days before digital cameras, so I don't have a copy of that photo that I can put my hands on. Sorry.

WOW! This thread has me misty-eyed! I used to post here under WenNRay back in the early days I don't know what I would have done without this place back then. I started to make a list of the names I remembered when I started reading this thread...Dan Murphy, Robinrs, Buckalew, Preshi, PandyPaws, etc....and then realized the list would be too long to post! GREAT to see you're still here Dan!!!

I'm planning another (long overdue) trip for next year, so naturally this was the first place to start. (I had to get a new screenname because the "Ray" part of my name and I divorced, AND I couldn't remember my password hahaha.) The Dis has grown so much it's going to take a while to get back in the swing of things.

I also have to say that the Memorial section made the real tears come when I saw the threads for Beverly Lynn and Richyams. Wow...time marches on, doesn't it.

It's great to see everyone again, I'm so excited to be back and see all of the familiar "faces"...it feels like coming home!
