DIS oldtimers (well newtimers too) where are you?

I guess I'm a mid-timer (not new, not old) who mostly lurks as you can see by the number of posts! Hi to All!!

Tricia, that was the 5-year 1st meeting with Barb that I was referring to.

I didn't make the 1st DIS Con. I did make DIS Con II tho which was in 2002.

FYI: Met up with BRISULLY 2-1/2 weeks ago at the Chicago 'WICKED' Meet! Missed him so much, it was GREAT to see him again. He's busy but, doing well.

As if i can remember all those kinds of details!! LOL Do I get credit for remembering that the meet you first met Patrick at was the DisneyQuest meet? I hated to miss that one but I had just had surgery two days prior and DH barred me from the meet. And do I get credit if I remember (correctly, I hope) that I first met you & Patrick at Chris & Mike's meet that August??

Answer this: What movie is the 'blue tongue' remembered for? I ask because we couldn't remember the movie we saw but, we remembered the blue tongue!

Let's see...Beauty & the Beast was in 2001, I believe, and Aladdin in 2002. Nemo was 2003. You weren't around in jan '01, so I guess it would have been Aladdin. Now, can you dig up the proof from Dan (or maybe Brian) that it ever existed??!

I guess I would say I am an 'Old timer'. I have been coming to the DIS boards since there were only 2 boards; Disney Trivia and Rumors/News. That was around 1997.
I don't get to post alot but I do alot of lurking, still after all of these years. I have to say the DIS is still one fo my favorite online Disney sites besides the PassPorter of course!

Well, I guess I'm an oldtimer. I remember the corn people I registered for the first time in 1999. Had to re-register after one of the upgrades. I used to post a lot but real life took over So I come in every now and then and lurk around. However, I am excited to say that I am in the beginning stages of planning a trip! I started college last year (after a nearly 20 year break from school) and I am planning a WDW trip for my graduation present to myself and my family, who have been very supportive of me during this adventure. So you'll be seeing me around more and more.

Old school DISer here. Lurked for most of 1999 before posting in 2000. (Dan Murphy would remember why)

First time for me on the DIS in over a year. Doing some research on some future trips for the family while we're all here at Christmas. Thought I'd stop by the CB for the first time in a long time. Was glad to see Dan had started this thread (for those who don't know, he's my internet Dad). Anyway, I scrolled through the thread some and noticed many people I haven't talked too in years! I've met so many DISers in my days as a CP at Disney. This board will always be a place of such fond memories. I used to live here back in the day. Just thought I'd say hello on Christmas and hope everyone is having a great one. Take care.

i'm more of a "bratty adolescent" than an oldtimer and lurk here more often than post ,usually post on the photo board and occasionally else where...if i have a foreseeable trip then i post more other places. nice thread idea though
