Finally getting a decent amount of time to spend on the Dis.

Life's just same ole, same ole here. Work, home, clean, cook, sleep. I'm thankful for small mercies....at least it's quiet and we have no major turbulence happening in our lives right now.
I'm going to have to duck out at some stage soon to pick up burger patties and buns for dinner. I guess I need to get my day organised....and soon. We have a few music things to get to later.

Alison - a Colonoscopy???? I hope you're okay!!

It's precautionary, my Endocrinologist has been nagging me to get one, now that I'm over 50. Woohoo! Fran's Gastroenterologist retired after her last Colonoscopy so I actually used Yelp to find us one! She goes in this Thursday, I'm two Thursdays later. Yay!

I'm going to have to duck out at some stage soon to pick up burger patties and buns for dinner. I guess I need to get my day organised....and soon. We have a few music things to get to later.

I already did that, but I picked up some rolls and crisps. We're having Philly Cheesesteaks (from prime rib that I defrosted yesterday and sliced this afternoon), Chips and Cole Slaw (already made that). Soon I will go to the stove and saute the Peppers, Mushrooms and Onions, add some steak and cheese and plop it all in a bun. Voila! Dinner!

They are already moldy, but not in that sense, that is why I can't eat them darn it...

It finally cooled off around here. Whew! I'm not looking forward to July and August.

I was going to make tacos for dinner tonight, but now I'm thinking of grilled steak with sauteed mushrooms and baked potatoes. Decisions, decisions.

I'm heading to both my primary doctor and allergist tomorrow and between the two of them they better get me back on my feet. I'm so tired of fighting these respiratory issues. I sent DH into town to pick us up taco salads so I didn't have to cook tonight.
