I don't even work with notifications anymore except for my own threads. I just keep checking unread watched threads.

I like getting the notifications, because I don't delete them until I've looked at the thread and caught up. It also takes me right to where I left off. But I'll probably have to start doing that.

Actually I think once it sends you a notification and you don't act on it if someone posts on another thread, you don't get a notification for the second thread that has an update. You have to visit the DIS after the first notification to get future notifications unless I'm reading them wrong.

Like I said, I just hit the Unread Watched Threads link and that way I don't miss anything.

Pretty sure that's not it, because I hadn't acted on this notification and still got them about updates on wedding threads I'm following. Meh. Whatever the situation is, I need to just make a point of popping in here.

I've just gotten used to checking the threads on the boards I like in the morning. It can be a pain, but with few notifications going out, it's what I do.

Good morning! I gave up on notifications on any thread, never got any.

I gave up on notifications on the old DIS. I think it was when I joined LTP and we were in a final frenzy of a game. I couldn't post and keep deleting the notifications, so I stopped receiving them except on my own threads and conversations.

Some things on the new site that don't support things. Like moving avatars. So sad. Even the TF can't play.

Oh my gosh, Alison I don't know what the weather is like where you are but I need to be by the ocean, it 108 here today. I would have loved to taken advantage of the half off at the queen mary!

It's really hot here, but like 80's hot, not crazy hot. In the Valleys it's over 100. We are staying inside in the AC. Everytime I open up the door I get hit with a blast of air.
