I think sleeping in knocked most of mine out of me, but she is totally zonked. She tried sitting in her chair in the living room for a bit and gave up to go back in the bedroom. I'm going to be out most of the afternoon so I hope she gets rest.

What a long weekend. I worked at Wizard World Comic Con this Friday to Sunday at Sacramento. Didn't do to well but this is why you take chances at these events. It was busy, I'll give it that.

It has been a lot of get up and go. Today Darcy and I picked up a cat wheel. Fran didn't feel up tl.leaving the house, so Darcy and I did it. I'm still trying to figure out how to get them to use the wheel. Treats seem tl be the best option, but not totally working.

Okay, everyone with a wheel need to post what the cats look like on it taking a spin.

If we get the kitties a wheel, I'll post a video of them running on it. Well, Sulu would probably stroll on it. Scotty, on the other hand, would be running on it. I just looked at them online. I'll need to do some extra work to buy them one.

hmmmm the lady we got it from said that to train her cats on it, she showed them a video. I'm going to have to try and show them a video. I've been trying to train them with treats.

Alison, Scotty is very visual. He doesn't usually watch TV, but when he does, he's glued to the screen. He walked by the TV while they were playing the commercial with the Hot Pursuit cat toy, the one with the fake feather that goes around and around. He stopped. He stared. He got up on his hind legs and watched the entire commercial. He kept looking at the screen, then back at me as if saying, "Do you see this wonderful thing?" He got one for Christmas two years ago. He will come and ask to play with it. It's his favorite toy.

He saw the video that you posted. I'm in trouble!

Those cat wheels run around $400 for one retail or brand new. They had just reduced the price by $50 from $200. We found it on Craigslist. Fran has been looking for quite a while.

I'll be keeping an eye on eBay and the local yard sales. If not, there is one for about $250 on the 'net. My tubby tabbies could use a good run on the wheel! They're not small kitties, even when they're svelte.
