I had a relatively relaxing day yesterday after checking in the tenants on 1st street. I went to the bank with their money and did some grocery shopping. Then I just sat around and DISed. Today I have to finish cleaning the apartment and meet the guys who are cleaning the chimney and ducts. I need to get going! I over slept!

Wow that's awful. They had a hyperbaric chamber at the wound clinic that Fran was going to a ways back, but they never prescribed her to use it. I'm sorry to hear this.

....he is scheduled for a 7-hour surgery on Tuesday. They are going to open up his leg to his groin. They are going to do something (?) to his artery to see if they can make the circulation better, since the hole in his ankle hasn't healed. If that works, they will do another surgery to remove some tissue from his stomach to put inside the hole....

....I very much appreciate that....unfortunately, the infection (as a result from the diabetes) travelled to his heart (he is now considered a MRSA 'host') and his eyes, so he is visually impaired...

....he has been going to the hospital every day for the past 6 weeks, to go in the hyperbaric chamber but it hasn't helped - they may have to amputate his other leg now....

Today was a long day today at work and I wasn't able to watch the NCAA Men's tournament today with the basketball tournament. At least it is over and I can rest tonight.

windows and then sealed the countertops. I had totally forgetten about that and it took a while, but we did it.

Monday comes and goes way too fast around here.

DS is officially on school holiday. It's our autumn break and he's got 2 weeks off. I bribed him to going to see Cinderella for me. I know it's Disney.....but really.....I thought the movie was just okay. IMHO, aside from being updated with live actors, it really didn't do anything special. At least when they updated Sleeping Beauty, they re-told it from Maleficient's viewpoint and it felt fresh and new. I guess that Cinderella is such a well-loved story that there was no real 'other' angle they could have gone with.

But I did enjoy Frozen Fever. Way too short!

Oh well. Back to work tomorrow. At least it's a short week, with Good Friday.
