Dis Old Fogies Clubhouse – Six of One, Half Dozen of the Other. Makes No Difference!

Yup. The only time I have access to the internet aside from my phone is when we're at the computer lab (we have WIFI by the pool, but it's only open until 8pm) or out somewhere that has WIFI. We're at Burger King right now, so I brought my laptop, lol.

Ugh! I would go crazy!

Yeah, that's why I keep hitting my data cap on my phone. I technically have unlimited, but after 5GB, it gets throttled to a very slow speed. So I still have it, it's just very slow. I'm out by the pool right now. It's chilly today in Florida! I have a sweater AND a hoodie on!

Still?

I hope you get connected soon.

Well, we were originally told by our leasing agent that we HAD to go through Brighthouse for internet, which would have been about $85 a month. Which we couldn't justify at the time. We just found out last weekend (after being here for five months) that she gave us incorrect information and we can go with whoever we want, so we did some research and found out that we can go with a company called Century Link. They have a speed that would be good for us with as much as we'd be using it, and it'd only be about $40. They'd also give us the option to buy the router instead of leasing it, which would be cheaper in the long run (it's $100 to buy, $10 a month to lease). So hopefully next month we'll be able to get online.

:wave2: I thought I'd stop by while our internet is working. It has more ups and downs than a roller coaster. And of course, it's not the cable company's fault. :scratchin

That's quite a difference in price.

Part of it is because the $35 one has a two year contract and autopay. Which is fine with us, we can make sure that we have the money and are planning to stay in the area for a few years :lmao: It's $75 without the autopay. I'm willing to do that to save $40, my car insurance is autopay as well.

I am so tired of all the pricing from the internet company's. Do you really know what you get for how much you pay.

I know, it's ridiculous.

have. it. YOUR. way.

We did!

:dance3: So Alison already knows because she commented on it on Facebook, but I am officially re-hired! I did paperwork and all that yesterday, so now Traditions is next week. I'll be Pastry Cook I at Be Our Guest! :yay:
