Loggin in here!! Hi I'm Tinalala and I have DD12 and DD8 (about to be - on Monday)!

Reading the posts and laughing because I'm a girl scout leader and I've been trying to tell the parents that the girls are going to get the fourth grade funk this year and they don't believe me!! Some of the girls need to start using deoderant now. This session we're going to talk about keeping a clean body and talk about deoderant!!

Well we've gone to Disney for years and now we're on a three year Disney break - it's KILLING ME!!! I've been listening to Live365 almost everyday and it's helping!! We've made our count down chain which started out at 32 months and it's slowly slowly coming down!

So glad to see there's mom's out there like me!!

I had the hardest time "training" my DD13 to use deodorant everyday! I do recommend looking into the "crystal rock deodorant." The girls (and boys) can use it after they shower, even if they shower at night, and it will still work the next day. It may be easier to get them to add it to their nightly routine, like shower, deodorant and brush teeth. Plus, if your child has WHITE uniform shirts :rolleyes1 in the 6th grade it helps with prolonging the yellowing of the armpits... And best of all its cheap!

Hey Dis Moms!

What are you guys up to right now? I'm making italian sausage for dinner! We took the kids to see Harry Potter today....it was really good. We can't believe its all done.

Watching The Simpsons Movie while folding clothes. My youngest had two tournament games today & tomorrow we have another. They won both games & did awesome. My little darling is the back up catcher & center fielder. She got a triple at one of the games. She is the youngest on her team. It was freaking hot. We couldn't cancel because it wasn't a 105 heat index. Last week we had to cancel a game because it was 122 w/ heat index. We even made the national news for the hottest cit in the nation. We live in KY.

I just got home from doing a Scentsy show and I am watching Cat in the Hat with the kids. I can't wait to be able to put them to bed and take a shower. It was HOT today!!!

This is the first time I have seen this thread. My husband is on the DisDads thread.

I'm Brandy and DH is Bryan. We both are Disney addicts. We have two children, Taylor (8 year old daughter) and Chase (5 year old son). They too have been brainwashed into Disney. I swore to my husband that I would not let his family do it to us, but it happened anyway.

My daughter is into anything Disney princess or Disney fairy themed, and my son is obsessed with hidden Mickeys! He even creates them on the steamed up mirrors in the bathroom, in his food, or with any round objects that he can place together.

We have been DVC members since 2003 and our home resort is the Beach Club.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to try to get her to use it after her shower.

Welcome Debbie and Sarah and Brandy!

Thanks for the welcomes! I can tell I'm going to like it in here!!

Right now I am uploading pictures from a friends wedding yesterday, it was on a canal boat and we had thunderstorms all day so unfortunately hardly of them have turned out well :sad2:

Is there a thread here for Disney themed rooms? My daughter has just moved into a 'big' bed and I'm looking for ideas!

:welcome: to all the new moms!

supersuperwendy, My DD and I went and saw Harry Potter Friday night! We really really liked it. I have to say I was kinda bummed that is was so short... Ok, maybe not short, just over 2 hours, but I left the theater wanting more. :happytv:

saysib, Have you tried using the search for "Disney themed rooms?" I swear I saw one, but I"m not sure how long ago it was. It also could have been on the budget board. :confused3 We just did our playroom "Disney." 2 walls are blue and 2 are bubble gum pink, and we got all the Disney "art" we could from the Dollar Tree, Cinderella, 2 Cars and Mickey & Minnie. We put up those little cubes on the wall and they hold all our Vinylmation. Oh and we have our Minnie drawing from the Animation class @ DHS on one wall.

Yeah weekend over!! We had DD9's birthday party today - Harry Potter themed! It was so much fun - we did magic tricks in mini cauldrons I got from the $ store and then did a defense against the dark art rocket with film canisters, alka selzters and water - girls had a great time!

Now we're getting ready for GS camp! That means the summer is 1/2 way over!!

Here comes Monday!

How many days until your next visit moms?

139 for us....I wish it would get here sooner!!

Well we'll be in the Cocoa Beach area in 18 days and then just 30 days till we're in WDW! This is going to be a more "relaxed" vacation for us so we're going to spend most of our time with family and just a few days at WDW. We went to WDW 6-7 times last year, and did commando style each time, so we're ready to just enjoy the atmosphere this time. We're going to try to experience things we've never done before, like the water park and Disney Quest.
