Loggin in here!! Hi I'm Tinalala and I have DD12 and DD8 (about to be - on Monday)!
Reading the posts and laughing because I'm a girl scout leader and I've been trying to tell the parents that the girls are going to get the fourth grade funk this year and they don't believe me!! Some of the girls need to start using deoderant now. This session we're going to talk about keeping a clean body and talk about deoderant!!
Well we've gone to Disney for years and now we're on a three year Disney break - it's KILLING ME!!! I've been listening to Live365 almost everyday and it's helping!! We've made our count down chain which started out at 32 months and it's slowly slowly coming down!
So glad to see there's mom's out there like me!!
My DD9 will be in fourth grade next year and she has definately reached the funk stage. I have to reminder all the time to use her deodorant. Heavan forbid she brush her hair. She still doesn't get why she has to shower every day.![]()
Can I join?
I'm Sarah, 30 and a lover of everything Disney
DH is Robin, 33. He knew what he was getting into when he married me and is now a fully fledged Disney fan
DD is Isabel, 3 and my Disney Princess
DD is Disney mad and is taking her 1st trip to WDW in October this year to celebrate her 4th birthday. We are staying at All Stars Music Oct 1st - 15th and I am already at the so excited I cant sleep point!
I visited WDW a couple times as a kid as well as DL and DLP. DH and I visited in 2005 for our 1st wedding anniversary and then again in May 2007 while I was pregnant - our 1st time onsite at POR. We live in the UK and had a job change and relocation since, so this will be our 1st trip anywhere as a family![]()
Can I join too?
I'll introduce my family:
I am Debbie, a proud Army wife and Disney lover
My DH, not so much a Disney lover lol but I can turn him, I know I can! lol
DS who is almost 5. He has the wildest imagination I've ever seen!
DS who just turned 2. He adores Mickey Mouse so he will be my little side kick at WDW.
I am in the process of planning our first family trip to WDW, we get there Sept. 7th so I am sooo excited!
I had the hardest time "training" my DD13 to use deodorant everyday! I do recommend looking into the "crystal rock deodorant." The girls (and boys) can use it after they shower, even if they shower at night, and it will still work the next day. It may be easier to get them to add it to their nightly routine, like shower, deodorant and brush teeth. Plus, if your child has WHITE uniform shirtsin the 6th grade it helps with prolonging the yellowing of the armpits... And best of all its cheap!

This is the first time I have seen this thread. My husband is on the DisDads thread.
I'm Brandy and DH is Bryan. We both are Disney addicts. We have two children, Taylor (8 year old daughter) and Chase (5 year old son). They too have been brainwashed into Disney. I swore to my husband that I would not let his family do it to us, but it happened anyway.
My daughter is into anything Disney princess or Disney fairy themed, and my son is obsessed with hidden Mickeys! He even creates them on the steamed up mirrors in the bathroom, in his food, or with any round objects that he can place together.
We have been DVC members since 2003 and our home resort is the Beach Club.
